Well where do we start. This is a fair and honest review. The hotel was clean. I have stopped with blue sea before in the canary island and they always been good. Starting with the hotel looks like the film set of the shinning and I was waiting for the voices shouting red rum. Luckily it was only a 4 day break because anymore would have killed me. We stayed half board and would have been mortified if I had of paid for all inclusive. Most of the time was spent eating out! I am a chef back in the uk and never have I expected to have to microwave every meal I had at the hotel. On further inspection I looked at the the temperatures on the equipment displays. One hot unit was at 72 degrees which is acceptable the other side was on 52 degrees and the fridge display was on 11.5 degrees. The line for the microwave was more like a conga line. I know it’s cheap but at least you expect the basics like hot food. Every holiday I have a day sunbathing but the pool area is tiny with 15 sun beds out you would have to swim to get on a sunbed and back again to get out and the pool area is shaded all day. I think blue sea should be ashamed of this hotel and how it is run. For £20 extra you can stay in a 4 star hotel on the seafront. This is the hotel where time stood still likeness to a 1960s pontin site. After bad reviews nothing has been improved

I’m usually easy to please but this hotel was horrid. The rooms really small and hard to move around and a lot of wear and tear, our aircon was leaking the whole holiday and when mentioned the maintenance guy came but wasn’t fixed. however cleaners came in and made the bed and mopped the floor every day but sheets weren’t changed at all. The pool was ok and big enough to swim in however with the sun loungers it was like you had to sift through the best of the worst 99% of them were broken and extremely dirty. I found that some of the staff were very rude, but I never had any issues with the receptionist or bartenders they were always lovely. Now the food was disgusting, the longest thing you’ll wait for is the microwave to heat the food up. On a rare occasion some of the food was lukewarm but otherwise cold and not very nice. The drink menu for an all inclusive was very limited and watered down massively, if you wanted any normal alcohol you had to pay separately for it, would not recommend any cocktails as are from a machine and taste awful, just go to one of the bars on seafront and get a proper drink. Had the food been good both myself and my partner could have overlooked a lot of the other things but majority of the time we found ourselves going to a restaurant in an evening which spoilt the purpose of an all inclusive.

I write this review as a previous travel agent. It is without a doubt that this accommodation is one of or if not the cheapest in the area. For this you get what you pay for, do not book this all inclusive and expect a 5* Palace (which some people have definitely thought). In comparison to other accommodations in the area to upgrade to all inclusive was the price of a few rounds at the bar. In my eyes this was worth it as I would get my moneys worth with a few drinks / or by having breakfast. Yes the rooms are outdated but they are clean. The maids made our beds everyday, mopped the floors and we got fresh towels every other day. Plenty of room for storage. The beds are not the comfiest however, we stayed 4 nights and it was grand (think I would have struggled for a full week on the bed). Shower was always hot. The drinks - pay 1 euro for your cup for your all inclusive drinks... wine, beer, spirits, cocktails were all fine. Food - pasta, salad, rice always available as was bread and cheese. Every evening there would also be a selection of burgar / nuggets / chips then a fish / chicken or pork dish. Desserts and fruit also available. It is basic food but you can always find something and everything was fresh. If you are a person that does not eat veg / salad / rice / pasta i would say you would be limited. Pool area - again this is out dated and not the most greatest of views or for catching the rays i personally found it a tad depressing could do with new loungers and some plants would make a big difference. There is also an area at the side of the hotel with chairs which gets better sun. However, there is a beautiful beach no more than 10 mins down the road and this is where we went most days after breakfast and back later to shower and have dinner. The beach bars are a total vibe. It is €8 a day for a lounger or just bring a towel. Sea is clean great for a swim. Area is very hilly so wouldn't recommend for people with mobility issues. There is a lift in the hotel but it is pretty old school. Local Area can be suited to a wide range of people, night clubs, cheap drink on the strip, more traditional places down the side streets, up market area near the beach front. We had drinks that were priced €2 each or €20 just depends were you go and what you want..The night staff at the hotel were fantastic very pleasant and patient. As two females on our own we felt very safe in the hotel and the male staff were gentlemen and well mannered. Check in was quick. Staff in the restaurant work hard to replace food and clean. If you are expecting 5* with amazing views, food and entertainment, then pay to go to one. However, if you are OK with somewhere that may be outdated and using it as a base to sleep shower have the odd meal at or few drinks then this is totally fine. It did amaze me the amount of people that booked this hotel and were giving off. It is a 3 star and i did not feel that i had over paid for what i got. 4 nights flight and hotel all inclusive was £240 // or £200 for hotel and room only. You simply wouldn't get a weekend in the uk for that. FYI- they do not do late check out - due to our flight times we would have been waiting about for 9 hours. It was £26 to just book an extra night. We thought this was worth it as we were able to sleep on, shower before our flight and have a full day without added stress. I booked this on booking.com the day before and they matched it up to our room which was fab. Worth having a Google if you are heading out for lunch dinner or drinks. There is so much choice and it helps to narrow it down.

Very reluctant at first when viewing the pictures online but went anyways, there was a slight issue on the first night when a homeless man decided to square up to the security guard but the staff ensured us he was just a harmless drunk local, the staff were extremely helpful and spoke great English conversing was easy for someone who doesn’t know that much Spanish the bald man at the reception was incredibly nice and always happy to help and is quite friendly, told us where everything was, answered all our questions, the bar staff remember your orders so even if you’ve had a bit too much to drink they’ll still get you done right. The rooms at I found a bit plain and only as somewhere to sleep and use bathroom but I grew to it, beds are somewhat comfy but there aren’t that many blankets and the pillows are quite small, the bathroom was clean with the odd mark from the room being aged and we didn’t have a tv at first but when we mentioned it at the reception it was quickly resolved with a tv being placed in our room within minutes, plenty of space and the balconies have nice views. The food was acceptable with it being all inclusive, there was plenty of food to go around always being restocked with fresh options and rotating day to day, the drinks are always cold and full of flavour, I’ve had no issues with the ice here so far with a lot of people saying don’t have it. There are stores right across the street for any snacks or tobacco, short 10 minute walk from main strips with loads of stores to go around easily will take an entire 2 days to explore. With it being my first Spain holiday I would definetly feel more than comfortable coming here again, thank you for an amazing first experience in Spain ❤️❤️

Well what can I say please read the reviews!!! Rooms well where do I start , got given top room in block 2 stayed 10 minutes , broken glass panels on balcony (forgot to get pictures of room ) so asked to be moved and got top floor on block 1 , not much better see pictures. Food luke warm at best but didn’t taste to bad repetitive but as you would expect in an all inclusive. Drinks were fine but expect to pay a 1 euro charge for cup that’s refundable good idea saves people dumping them everywhere, and bar area was good and clean, think there trying to tart it up but rooms need serious updating, pool very small and doesn’t get much sun as shadowed by hotels ,also avoid staying near the lift we could hear it in our room ( sounds like a dinosaur is living in it 😬,wouldn’t personally recommend it book at your peril ……

I was slightly nervous coming to hotel after some of the bad reviews. However after a short stay for our low budget deal holiday, I have no complaints. Food Great selection and food was fresh, the choices changed daily and was all kept replenished. Me and my friend really enjoyed eating there. The hotel is dated, old fashioned decor, but we got a cheap deal and did not spend a lot of time in the room. It was also nice that our room was cleaned daily. I also noticed a lot of cleaners in and around hotel so was well attended to. I would advise if you're looking for something more modern, then it might not be for you. The lift was small (3 person max). The location is a short walk to bus station, beach, markets, and great historical sites including Church of Sant Roma. Staff Staff at the hotel were all very helpful and we stayed during the power outage that happened all over Spain, and all the staff worked very hard to look after the guests so a big thank you to them. Like most people reading the reviews, I was a bit nervous about my stay here. But honestly couldn’t have had a better time. The staff were lovely and so helpful from the beginning. We had an issue with our luggage at the airport and the staff were super helpful with translating and helping us retrieve it. We arrived just before lunch was finishing and the staff made no issue of us eating that close to them finishing up. The food was fresh and there was a good selection. We are somewhat picky eaters but never had an issue with the food, we ate well all week. The rooms are basic but very clean. You could smell they had been cleaned each day. The bed was comfy and we slept well during our stay. Only really heard other guests on our last night but they were just very loud. The bathroom was fine, we had a decent size bath that was comfortable for us. The gap in the balcony dividers is quite large but we didn’t have neighbours until the last day so it didn’t really affect us. Would definitely go again, had such a lovely time.
