This is our 5th visit to the Copacabana Hotel; first time was 46 years ago for our honeymoon. |We actually check out in July 1st but thought I’d write our review while we were still here. |We’re here for 2 weeks fully inclusive and to be honest, we can’t fault it. Yes, it’s dated and the rooms are basic but it’s very clean. You’re not spending 24/7 in your room so just get on with it and enjoy yourselves. Pool area is small, but we never had a problem getting a lounger or pulling up a chair outside. |The staff are very friendly and accommodating, nothing’s too much trouble. |Some reviews criticise the food, why? You know you’re booking a 3* hotel so why expect cordon bleu cuisine? There’s something for everyone at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The choice of salads is fantastic, there’s always pasta, cold meats and cheeses, a fresh fish dish and a cooked meat dish every day not forgetting a daily paella dish. Always plenty of chips and the desserts are good. If you can’t find something to eat from the choices you’re given, well…🤷‍♀️|Anyway, we’ve had 5 good holidays here over the years, thank you to everyone who works here. |If you’re going to leave a tip, leave some for the chambermaids; they’re awesome. Your room is cleaned daily, clean sheets and towels provided, can’t fault them. Also, don’t forget the hard working restaurant and bar staff.

I was slightly nervous coming to hotel after some of the bad reviews. However after a short stay for our low budget deal holiday, I have no complaints. Food Great selection and food was fresh, the choices changed daily and was all kept replenished. Me and my friend really enjoyed eating there. The hotel is dated, old fashioned decor, but we got a cheap deal and did not spend a lot of time in the room. It was also nice that our room was cleaned daily. I also noticed a lot of cleaners in and around hotel so was well attended to. I would advise if you're looking for something more modern, then it might not be for you. The lift was small (3 person max). The location is a short walk to bus station, beach, markets, and great historical sites including Church of Sant Roma. Staff Staff at the hotel were all very helpful and we stayed during the power outage that happened all over Spain, and all the staff worked very hard to look after the guests so a big thank you to them. Like most people reading the reviews, I was a bit nervous about my stay here. But honestly couldn’t have had a better time. The staff were lovely and so helpful from the beginning. We had an issue with our luggage at the airport and the staff were super helpful with translating and helping us retrieve it. We arrived just before lunch was finishing and the staff made no issue of us eating that close to them finishing up. The food was fresh and there was a good selection. We are somewhat picky eaters but never had an issue with the food, we ate well all week. The rooms are basic but very clean. You could smell they had been cleaned each day. The bed was comfy and we slept well during our stay. Only really heard other guests on our last night but they were just very loud. The bathroom was fine, we had a decent size bath that was comfortable for us. The gap in the balcony dividers is quite large but we didn’t have neighbours until the last day so it didn’t really affect us. Would definitely go again, had such a lovely time.

So I booked a short stay (4nights) but i only stayed 2, the first and last night's. I did a trip to another area of spain in the middle for the 2 middle nights. |Rooms are basic but very clean. The bar staff were kept busy but always helpful and polite and smiling. Food is of decent standard for the price you pay. The biggest plus was the staff, always happy to help with advice and really nice. I genuinely can't praise them enough.|The manager/owner chris was at the reception area when I asked about checkout times and he gave me a great deal on lat check out and lunch for our last day. Ana was very helpful with arranging this. |Again massive thanks to all the helpful staff, they really are an asset.

I was quite impressed with this hotel. I did see a few negative reviews, so I wasn't sure what to expect! It is a 3 star. It's value for money. Breakfast was decent. I really like the chocolate pastry thing. Staff were friendly and hotel is a less than a 10 minute walk to the beach.

Avoid ||Dated, tatty, smelly ||Room was horrendous may aswell have shared room with next door. |Noise from all rooms and lift drifts through hotel. |Everything smells of stale cigarette smoke, carpets mismatched, furniture falling to bits, balcony chipped, peeling paint. Lights not all working. Shower poured didn’t shower, dark and gloomy. ||Pool so small and tatty. |||Only plus breakfast was ok and rooms were cleaned with fresh towels daily. ||Would defo not stay here again ||AVOID

As a visually impaired individual, I found this venue to be exceptionally accessible. The staff were not only friendly but also very understanding of my needs. Service was efficient—our dishes were promptly cleared after we finished our meal, and the overall customer service was outstanding. My family and I will definitely be returning, either later this year or in the next. Highly recommended.

Good wee cheap hotel. Enjoyed the stay. Rooms were dated and a wee bit of a sewery smell in room 201, but room 214 was better. Good proximity to the beach with a decent small supermarket literally across the road, and a decent takeaway just around the corner. 201's balcony was nice, bit small but otherwise nice. Room 214's was bigger but overlooking some roof. Food was a decent variety but we had a picky eater who struggled sometimes, but the rest of us enjoyed it. Noticed there was one really nice thing per meal. Overall really good stay, would recommend. Oh and the air-conditioning stays on while you are out the room, you don't need to leave a keyboard there. Barstaff were really good, nice generous pours. All inclusive definitely worth it.
