Yelp
My first sit-down meal in Barcelona, and I'll say it was quite the foreshadowing of what was to come as far as food goes for this gem of a city!
Copasetic is on the small side. I've no doubt it fills up come the usual, much later in the evening, Catalonian dinner hour; lucky for us, dinner's around 6 at home, which is quite early for this late-night town, so there were plenty of open seats.
I picked Copasetic off my bookmarks list for two reasons: close proximity to our Airbnb; and CREPES are on their menu. I love crepes, and the more authentic I can get, the better!
Chicken crepe for me. Filling comprised of the poultry, mushrooms, cheddar cheese, roasted cherry tomatoes, and their mayo-mixup. A few key points:
- FRESH free-range rotisserie pulled chicken that was juicy as the dickens and tasty as all get out!
- LOADED. Yes, my crepe was filled to the edge with tons of the poultry - savory as all get out!
- PRICE point of my crepe matched the end product to the T!
My parents shared the Caramelised Apples, Goat Cheese & Nuts crepe. I tried a bite. If I wasn't so dang full, I would have pondered buying one for myself. Sweet apple slices paired with the goat cheese - a splendid mix of sweet and salty. Wonderful last bite!
Side note: The small side salad that came with the crepes was awesome - more so, the vinaigrette-ish dressing it was tossed in was lite and refreshing, just enough zing for my palette. Excellent accompaniment!
I want, no, NEED, a Copasetic in Columbus. I'm unbelievably glad I found Copa on Yelp, and hope to get back there sooner than later!
