10.27.22. Now this is what an Airport should be like!
Beautiful wood flooring, combined with modern and sleek design surrounds the entire airport. There is shopping, food, options, coffee shops, even an upstairs, Irish pub called Murphy's that I tried out. There seems to be a classic place around here called Joe and the juice which I've noticed around Copenhagen, quite often. I love that the floor smooth and extremely clean, and he's pushing your luggage carts around joy almost. Bathrooms are also very well taken care of. The danish people are friendly, most of the work, or speak English and they will help you out.
Security check can be a bit intensive. Although there are not extremely clear about removing liquids, from the baggage as most airports, do, coming from the Phoenix sky, Harbor Airport sometimes they're not so strict on this. Well, and Denmark, on the other hand, this ended up in a search and seizures type situation. All in all it was OK, a 2.5 fluid ounces liter bottle of perfume cause them to alarm and then they told us afterwards, you must remove the "liquids from the baggage."
Stop by Lagkagehuset! Try a real, authentic danish. Do yourself a favor, and just do it. It taste so much better than anything in America. The fresh flakiness and airiness of the croissant blends with the natural ever so effervescent and tingly sweetness.
Maybe this is an over assumption or a judgment, please do not take this lightly her for granted, but it seems like everyone in Denmark is very healthy and fashionable. The amount of puffy jackets and cool, looking luggage as I saw is beyond me. I was taken to Copenhagen as my girlfriend had always wanted to come here. I wasn't sure what was here for me. But after two days here, wow, I love this country. Thank you for accepting me as one of your own.
They even have a conveyor belt sushi place called, yo! Sushi! What kind of airport has a conveyor belt sushi go round. This is awesome. They even have a Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Hermés, etc. for the fashionably inclined (deep pockets...) lol.
There is a tram/train that takes you directly to Copenhagen, Central Station, and less than about 20 minutes. It's all very convenient. Everything is streamlined and laid out. There are workers available and ready to help. At first it was very intimidating and confusing as a lot of the signs are in a different language than English. But just go up to any employee and ask them. They will be happy to help. Although I asked an attendant how to get to the bus, she directed me to the arrivals. So I spent some time walking back-and-forth. Anyways, they have an awesome 7-Eleven here.
Tak! (thank you!)
