If you’re looking for an authentic taste of Denmark in the heart of Solvang, this Danish sausage biergarten is an absolute must-visit! From the moment you step in, the charming atmosphere transports you straight to Copenhagen. The sausages are nothing short of phenomenal—perfectly seasoned, grilled to perfection, and served with all the traditional fixings. The beer selection is equally impressive, featuring a fantastic variety of local and imported brews that complement the flavors of the sausages. The outdoor seating in the biergarten is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the lively, yet laid-back ambiance. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, making sure every guest feels welcome. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, this place offers an unforgettable culinary experience. A Must-Visit Spot in Solvang for Sausage Lovers! We stopped by in the late afternoon during a family trip to Solvang, and as sausage lovers, we were thrilled to find this place. We waited about 10 minutes, but it was absolutely worth it. At first, we ordered a set of three sausages with bread. But we quickly realized we wanted more—so we went back for an extra sausage and a pretzel. No regrets! What impressed us even more was the staff’s thoughtful service. When we placed our initial order, they noticed we were close to the price of the 4-sausage set and adjusted it for us—so helpful and considerate! The drinks came with free refills (up to three times), which was a nice bonus. One person in our group ordered the mildest beer, and the staff kindly gave us a heads-up that it was very smooth in flavor—perfect advice. We also ordered salads, and they brought out two separate bowls, each fresh, nutty, and full of flavor. Our whole family loved it. The service here was truly outstanding—friendly, attentive, and full of little thoughtful touches. If you're visiting Solvang, this is definitely a place worth stopping by. Highly recommended!

Google
A good place to go for beer and Pretzels those were the stars of the show. Nothing too fancy, Sausages weren’t cooked to my liking (they seemed like they were thrown in the fryer.) But dip it in their array of mustards and take a big gulp of beer and it’s ok.

During a June visit to Solvang, many of the restaurants were closed early. So we were happy to find this place open later and a little less expensive than other restaurants in Solvang. It was also very busy. We tried the Sausage Sampler which showcases different sausages from around the world. We chose these 3 sausages: Rod Polse, Bratwurst, & Kielbasa. We also tried the Apple & Arugula Salad and All American Burger. We enjoyed our food and the atmosphere of just being in Solvang. Seating here is all outdoors, so bring a jacket. It was chilly the night we came.

*Delayed post from Dec '24. Visited here during Lillejuleaften (Little Christmas Eve on 12/23) to enjoy the holiday atmosphere. This place had great outdoor seating with affordable beer and bar food. It was extremely crowded when we arrived, as expected given the holiday, but thankfully the line moved quickly with multiple kiosks. It's a self-seat, order at the front kind of place, so don't expect a server to wait on you. We ordered beer and pretzels and found a table to share with another couple easily. The pretzels took longer than expected to come out, but we nursed beers in the meantime. I appreciated the variety of dips available on their condiments cart as well.

This place was so good we literally ate there 3 times this weekend. We had to try most of the menu because the first bite we took was awesome. We went back again that night and the day after again and the day we left. We just couldn’t get enough.

Google
Sausages are good! They said the popularities are listed in order. So we picked the top three. The first one we choose the traditional style which comes with bun, some onions, and pickles. That is the best one (the denish one) !!! I would say the other two (listed second and third on the sausage lists) are a little bit salty, but still reallllly good. Well what impressed me most is the beet salad haha. Sooo fresh and so nicely chopped. That is my favorite!!!!

Google
Stopped by this spot on a perfect sunny day and it was such a great place to hang out! There’s no indoor seating, so everything is outdoors with picnic tables and benches — giving it a nice, casual vibe. The sausages were really good with plenty of options to choose from. The only downside was the buns — they were super dry. The fries were super crispy and delicious. Just a heads up — the line can get a little long during meal hours, but it moves pretty quickly, so don't let that stop you.

Yelp
Very calming environment! You could tell the food was very fresh! I would definitely come back

Yelp
What a great spot to chill and eat a variety of sausages. We were headed back home coming from Santa Barbara and stopped by Solvang to explore and Copenhagen was a really highly rated restaurant. The line was pretty long but it moved along at a steady click. Fyi we stood at line starting around 11:30 am on a Monday Memorial Day Weekend. There are two cashiers who take your order and then give you your number to self seat. Note that drinks are handed through a window behind the cashier. The seating is all outdoors and is crowded so it might be difficult to seat a large party. We waited for a bit but were able to seat a party of 6 eventually. We ordered two of the sausage platters to share, fries, and the pretzel. I can't recall all the sausage we ordered, but all of it was good and unique. Two platters was enough to share with 6 people. The pretzel is huge and the dipping sauce that comes with it is a cheese that's pretty good. I really liked the pretzel. Fries were also good. Oh and they have a ton of dipping sauces but I personally liked the Dijon mustard the best. Copenhagen Suasage Garden is a worth a stop if you're in Solvang!

Yelp
Copenhagen Sausage Garden: Great Sausages & Sauces, Buns Fall Short Copenhagen Sausage Garden in Solvang is a fantastic spot for a flavorful bite, earning a solid 4/5 stars. The absolute highlight here is undoubtedly the delicious sausages - perfectly grilled, with a satisfying snap and bursting with flavor. Their selection is impressive, offering a true taste of a German-style sausage garden, and the plenty of sauce options really allow you to customize your perfect bite. However, be prepared for a few common challenges. It can get quite busy, leading to a long wait for food, especially during peak hours. Furthermore, while the sausages shine, the buns were a bit dry and harder than expected, detracting slightly from the overall experience. The outdoor seating area, while charmingly casual, can also be a bit messy and not always as clean as one might hope, with tables sometimes taking a while to be bussed, likely due to staff limitations keeping up with the constant flow of customers. Despite these minor operational hiccups and the somewhat disappointing buns, the sheer quality of the sausages and the lively, festive atmosphere make Copenhagen Sausage Garden a worthwhile stop for a satisfying and tasty meal in Solvang.

Yelp
A good option for European-style sausages in Solvang! I visited this outdoor eatery during a weekday for lunch and my experience was good as a solo diner. You fall in line, order, the cashier will give you a number, and your food will be brought to where you choose to sit at. I ordered the Red Polse Sausage in a bun with a side of German Potato Salad. The Red Polse Sausage was pretty good! It was juicy, flavorful, and had a nice snap to it. The bun it came in was soft and fluffy. I wasn't the biggest fan of the potato salad. I liked how chunky and creamy the potatoes were as well as the big chunks of bacon in it, but I wasn't a fan of how mustardy it was in flavor. Not my cup of tea. I also liked the self-serve condiments station. There was a large variety of sauces to choose from and my favorite was the curry ketchup which had a nice and sweet curry flavor and complimented the Red Polse sausage. There was also warm sauerkraut which was good, but I think I prefer the colder version. Overall, a good experience here! I think it would have been better if I came in a group, so I can try a variety of sausages. I would definitely come back here if I was visiting Solvang in the future.

Yelp
Stopped by during a weekend trip through Solvang and was pleasantly surprised. Thought it might just be a tourist trap, but the food was legit--fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. I tried the bratwurst and jalapeño sausage, both served hot with a perfect snap. The pretzel with cheese was hands-down the highlight--warm, soft, and that cheese sauce was addicting. There's a solid selection of sauces at the condiment bar, and I liked that it was all self-serve and casual. Plenty of outdoor seating, dog-friendly, and good vibes all around. It does get busy, so expect a bit of a line, but it moves fast. Definitely a fun and tasty stop if you're in town. Will be back for a beer flight and another round of that pretzel.

Yelp
Both the sausages and sauces were true to their names. Everything tasted exactly as described

Yelp
Only outdoors. Good vibes and good service. The cashier talked us through the different kinds of sausages and drinks. The sauces were unique and flavorful. I would go back here. The cucumbers and pickled and a nice palette cleanser in between sausages.

Yelp
It couldn't have been a trip to Solvang if I didn't try anything over at Copenhagen Sausage Garden! I was met with a long line (that doesn't seem to die down!) but patiently waited. We got the Currywurst, Rod Polse, Kielbasa, and Bratwurst. All of them had lots of flavor and went great with their dipping sauces. There is a variety from the cart as well as sauerkraut to add on! The platter came with some pickled cucumber slices. We got a 1/2 order of french fries which was sadly forgotten until the very end of our meal due to them being short of fries. It was quite greasy, but I liked the batter on them. Although touristy, I can't help but still visit to dine in the popular space. It was busy so we found ourselves sharing a table and expect long lines, but definitely go for the Solvang experience.

Yelp
Good spot for a quick casual lunch when in the area! We stopped for lunch during our road trip. Loved the two sausages we tried (we got kielbasa and jalepeno sausage). They were served piping hot and super snappy; I was super impressed with the texture! Not too salty either. Paired well with the bun. These hit the spot since we were super hungry. Loved trying all the fun sauces as well! The sauerkraut was delicious too. There was plenty of outdoor seating, a restroom, and self serve water condiments. Service was friendly and fast and very no frills.

Yelp
This spot is highly rated in Solvang for a good reason, they serve good food. The sampler came with 3 fairly sized sausages (I was expecting bigger but they're normal hotdog size). They were yummy. We ordered extra bread to make it a full meal. They have a condiment bar but I ate them as is. Yummy as they are. Didn't even need ketchup for the fries. They were crispy and nicely seasoned. The smash burger was pretty good but it's pretty messy to eat. You'll order first upon seating so it's helpful if you have somebody else save a seat. They're outdoor and we brought our doggy along to sit under the table (lots ppl brought dogs). Nice ambiance. We got the giant beer glass to make it a full experience. The line is alway long but they're worth it.

Yelp
Came here for lunch and it was such a fun experience. A cute beer garden with so many sausage options. We got the bratwurst and hot Italian sausage which comes with their hoagie roll. The sausages are super flavorful and juicy lol! They have a self serve station of different sauces too (cranberry, bbq, honey mustard, etc) and ketchup/mustard and relish too. We also got the all American smash burger. Overall really good meal! I want to try their Bavarian pretzel next time. The beers also come in different sizes so overall lots of options for a good bite and drink before you stroll the rest of the danish village!

Yelp
Drove 2.5 hrs this time around! Third time eating here! First ran into this place by chance a couple years ago. As always, service was quick. Servers always nice and knowledgeable about their items and giving great recommendations! We got the Sausage Sampler of 4 with Kielbasa, Currywurst, 3 Pepper, and Hot Italian, American burger with fries, (not pictured) Apple and Arugula Salad. All the food was good! We were there around 3-330ish and the sun was all over so there was barely any shade, this is the only downside. So don't forget to get some cold drinks!! Recommend!!

Yelp
The touristy spot and must visit when it's your first time. Lots of sausage choices along with flights to pair. Super friendly service. Outdoor picnic tables and benches. Condiment cart next to the register. Try all of their sauces mix and match to your liking. Had to get the pretzel of course. Though the beer cheese sauce maybe needed more oomph was a little too watery for my taste. Needed way more rue! Flights were great! The sausages had their hits and misses. Overall a good experience when it's your first time.

Yelp
Who knew a hot dog could be so good, we were having a light lunch and shared a Bratwurst and half side of fries. It was perfect between the two of us and satisfied our stomachs. The sausage was juicy and had a good snap to it when bitten. This place is all outdoor seating and it's more self-service as you grab your own sauces/utensils. The food came out a few minutes after we ordered, will definitely be coming back! ig; @cravingswithcat

Yelp
Located in the beautiful town of Solvang, this place is a solid choice for lunch or dinner. However, I will say that like most places here it was a little pricey. Parking is ample, either in lots or street. However if it's a busy time of the year then you may have trouble finding close parking. Service was ok, though I recommend getting a receipt or confirming what you ordered because a lot of people seemed to complain about their orders being wrong, and actually they got my order wrong by adding on a strawberry lemonade that I didn't order. Food was good. We ordered sausages, a pretzel, and a smash burger. The smash burger was meh. The pretzel was good but a little small in my opinion for what you pay. The sauces were very good, especially when paired with a solid dipping sauce and sauerkraut. We ordered bratwurst, currywurst, hot Italian, and kielbasa. My favorite was the currywurst. All very flavorful!

Yelp
The food is the best, the service is great and the ambiance is german style! So, this is one of my fav place in Cali. We stopped by and we got sausage sampler to go! We ate too much (very full) and we werent able to eat so we bought it to have woth us and no regret! I love their sauces and the cranberry one was new to me or maybe it was there last year while i was in Solvang and i didn't see it...Not sure but the taste is phenomenal!
google avatar

Jake M.

Yelp
This place has the best sausages ever! Try the rod polse is a must try! And definitely get a beer flight, it's awesome. Everytime we visit Solvang, we have to come to this place. It feels like stepping into Germany. It's got a cool vibe. The regular beer mugs are huge too!
google avatar

Tiffany B.

Yelp
Ok this place was pretty good. The sausages were over cooked and a bit basic but the pretzel and the cheese sauce were absolutely AMAZING! The beer was cold and large! My son loved the smash burger and fries. I also loved the cranberry sauce! Over all this place was good! I have wanted to go to Solvang so long and it didn't disappoint.
google avatar

Jessica H.

Yelp
i've been to this spot twice now and it's definitely worth checking out! their sausages are delicious (my favorites are the brat and the kielbasa) and their sides are pretty solid. i love the pickles and the bavarian pretzel and their fries are great as well. i do wish they had more shade because on a hot day, it can be hard to get comfortable on their outdoor only patio. and both times we went, i noticed it gets pretty dirty, but that's typical with the revolving door of people coming and going. overall, i would say it's a must try when in solvang!
google avatar

Kevin K.

Yelp
Wow! Had the 4 sausage sampler without buns and it filled two adults up - and I have a big appetite! The danish sausage was vrry tasty. The sauces are self serve which was very cool. Tasted them all! Beer selection is limited but priced well. Service was fast and the host / order taker was very knowledgeable about the food and drinks. I'd go back just for the fries too! And to kick them up a notch, dip them in the sausage sauces. Cool spot!
google avatar

Kaelin A.

Yelp
This is a great spot to get sausages in solvang! I loved that you can mix and match different types of sausage when you order the sampler. I loved the cheese that came with the pretzel. The potato salad is more mustard forward than other potato salads but I loved it! I thought it was really cool that they have a sauce station where you can try different mustards, cranberry sauce and even get onions, relish and sauerkraut! All seating is outside so it can get a little chilly but it's a vibe!
google avatar

Yelp
Great sausages Went with the sampler, No roll, just the top 3 they have. I would come back

Yelp
This was the first place we went to when we got to Solvang. They have a variety of famous sausages. We got the Hot Italian, Bratwurst, Jalapeno Cheddar Bacon, three pepper, and Rod Polse. We also got a flight of beers. You can also add buns to eat it like a hot dog or just the sausage on its own. My favorite was the Jalapeno Cheddar Bacon. It was so good and tasty. They also have so many sauces available that you can get and enjoy with your sausages. This place is a must for the sausages when you go to Solvang.
google avatar

Amber L.

Yelp
What a delicious start to our Solvang trip! This is an outdoor beer garden. You order and then find a seat on the patio. There's a plethora of sauces to peruse at the condiment station while you wait for them to bring your food out. My lady and I shared a Bavarian pretzel, onion rings, and a jalapeño cheddar dog. They were all so good! The sausage was the highlight for me and I wish we had gotten the sausage sampler. Definitely a must stop while you're in Solvang!
google avatar

Nico C.

Yelp
Great experience, customer service was spot on, really friendly, and answered all our questions about what to order. Really comfy outdoor seating and great atmosphere to have a quick lunch at before exploring the rest of Solvang. Food was great and fast. I would steer clear of the vegan sausages, the rest were great. Definitely recommend getting the chicken sage sausage with any of the sauces and dips!
google avatar

Makenna C.

Yelp
This is a MUST stop in Solvang. From all the sauces to brat choices anyone can find something they will love! My favorite was the Currywurst! Such good flavor without it being too overpowering! Also the side of pickles was an amazing touch! Its all patio seating with first come first serve tables! It a walk up service and they hand you a number and bring it to your table!
google avatar

Vanessa C.

Yelp
Stopped here in Solvang thought it was a great place for the kids to eat yummy food. Tried their sausage, sampler, their charcuterie plate, and their beer tasting. I love all the sausage with the different sausages. My seven-year-old really enjoyed trying each individual sauce. My 10-year-old loved the charcuterie plate and me and my husband enjoyed the beer tasting.
google avatar

Ashleigh C.

Yelp
Good food. Outdoor seating only and it's first come first serve..... which can be stressful when it's packed.
google avatar

Kaloni S.

Yelp
Omgg yumm! I was very excited to try this place and was not disappointed! We went with the 4 sausage link sampler and 2 lagers. We tried the bratwurst, Jalapeno bacon cheddar, kielbasa, and chicken sausage. Definitely should've stuck with all bratwurst. They are so good!! I loved that they had so many sauce options. The service was great and servers were very friendly! We were served right away and there is plenty of seating and parking nearby. Wednesdays around 1:45pm they start setting up for the farmers market so just watch out for that! Otherwise, definitely worth a try if you're visiting in the area!

Yelp
CSG is still the best restaurant in Solvang. It is a must try if you are in the area. We have been coming here for years and the quality is consistent even though the menu, servers/order takers, and possibly ownership have changed over time. During this trip we visited three times. They still have the sausage samplers, which we highly recommend. Sausages come with a bun ordered individually. They are great with the bun even though the bun quality has dropped over time. There are a variety of self serve sauces and many of them are awesome. They probably don't want you to, but we recommend getting ranch in a water cup and then dispensing into their sauce cups and especially if you get your food to go. However, we recommend eating the sausages plain and without a bun to get their awesome flavor. The curry, kielbasa, and bockwurst are still our favorites. We tried the small pretzel and it is just as good as the big one. We recommend eating these with ranch rather than the cheese that comes with them. However, we recommend the bigger pretzel. Unfortunately, they no longer carry Aspal cider. The high and dry cider is not a bad substitute, but not as good as Aspal. Never had the beer sampler, but many people get it and seem to enjoy it. Drinks still come out the order window to the left of and behind the order stands. Lines are still long during peak lunch and dinner hours and worse during holidays and weekends. We recommend you come early or late for your meal to avoid the rush. During one of our three visits on this trip, we and several others got our food to go because there was no seating. This is because they are so popular. We ate in our car, but there are many nice places in the area you can take your food to eat or even go back to your room if staying in town. It can get quite noisy during peak hours. We definitely recommend stopping by here at least one time to try CSG. We take all our out of state friends here and they love it every time.

Yelp
This is my second time here and it was definitely a more pleasant experience. I highly recommend getting here closer to or even before opening because a line already forms. We got in line a bit after 11 am and we didn't wait too long to order. There were plenty of tables when we finished ordering but it will definitely get packed. Sausage sampler (4/5): You can choose either 3 or 4 flavors to try. We chose kielbasa, hot italian, and currywurst. The currywurst is my favorite. The curry flavor actually comes through well. Bavarian pretzel (4/5): The pretzel itself was buttery and salty. The cheese sauce it came with really takes it up a level. It is a white cheese that just pairs very well. There is a whole sauce bar with a bunch of choices from cranberry to hot mustard. The jalapeno sauce was my favorite. It was nice and spicy. You can also order buns for $1 each. Definitely a great spot to try if you are in Solvang.

Yelp
Thinking what to eat on our last night in Solvang. We got here yesterday on Christmas Day and pretty much everything was closed. As we are only here 2 nights we figured we should try some Danish food. Some people told us to try this place so we waited in line for some sausages. When we got there around 6:30 the line was not too long. It took 20 min to get to the front. We got the sausage sampler: Rod Polse, 3 pepper and hot Italian. We also got a pretzel. To wash the food down we got Danish Red Lager and Steigl Grapefruit Radler. There was a self-serve sauce station and sauerkraut and pepper. The grapefruit Radler... it was darn good! I always prefer fruity lager and this was tasty! I have never finished my beer before my husband! The sausages were pretty good but I am not a sausage person so I can't tell you if they are worth the wait. The pretzel was warm and soft. They forgot the cucumbers that come with the sampler. There was only outdoor seating and it got pretty chilly so the sausages and pretzel got cold after 5 minutes. There were heaters on the side but not in use. But the time we finished (around 7:40), the line was still there and longer than when we arrived. Hope everyone got food as the place closes at 8. I hope I can give 3.5 star as I think the sausages were decent. I only hope they would set up the heaters for the customers eating in the cold.
google avatar

Jana H.

Yelp
This was recommended to us from the place we were staying in Solvang and it was a good stop! We ordered to go, but it would have been better to be able to sit and enjoy it in the nice outdoor patio with the fun beer garden ambience. Got the sausage sampler and loved being able to try different sausages. We enjoyed all three out of the rød pølse, bratwurst, and kielbasa. Also loved the copious amounts of mustards they had available! Absolutely would recommend and would go back to eat there, trying more sausages and including some sides this time. They went great with some cheese we had!
google avatar

Enrica C.

Yelp
My first meal in Solvang had to be a bratwurst! I was so excited to try this spot because it blended in so nicely with the culture of this little town! I had never tried a bratwurst before, and I could tell this place would do it right! They offer tons of sausage types from around the world, and it's cool because they also tell you where that sausage is from! My partner and I ordered the bratwurst, bockwurst (yes foreshadowing because Bock from Wicked is the worst), and a side of fries! There's plenty of outdoor seating, and there's a plenty of unique sauces to choose from at the self-service station - I recommend the berry one!
google avatar

Louis S.

Yelp
Pretty decent, walked in but no one was really at the register and was a bit confused. Workers were nice though, I thought the sausages were pretty average though, nothing crazy. Got their regular beer which was good, liked the layout it it. Condiments were out in the open, interesting flavors but decent
google avatar

Dang L.

Yelp
It was a long line and packed with hungry people. Very casual atmosphere. Raspberry lambic float: 5 stars. Tart raspberry flavor with creamy vanilla ice cream. What more do you want? I finished that thing, which said a lot. Beet and arugula salad: this was huge and can be 2 meals for me or sides for 4 people. Sausage sampler with - Kielbasa: savory. Currywurst: light curry flavor. All beef: savory. I couldn't tell between the kielbasa and this. Vegan Italian: surprisingly spicy. Good texture but spicy which was weird. More than a little spicy. Bavarian pretzel: the fam pretty much enjoyed this. It was so soft and tasted delicious with the cheesy, garlicky sauce. I would come back again for the lambic floats.

Yelp
Seriously, this was yummy food. Some of the best that we had on our trip up the Central Coast. We tried a four sausage sampler and we were delighted by each choice. We also got a large side of fries and they were fantastic! There is only space available to sit outdoors at this place. But you can get a beer and a brat and have a great time. It's definitely worth a stop if you are not all full of Danish...
google avatar

Rachael W.

Yelp
The sausages here were amazing and super juicy and tender. We got to sample four different types. I love how unique each flavor the sausage had. It paired perfectly well with the pretzel we got. Would highly suggest that on the side! Service was quick and easy and I loved their condiment bar as it paired well with the sausages.
google avatar

Katelynn R.

Yelp
Kielbasas was some of the best I've had in a while! They had plenty of different dipping sauces too. Honey mustard and Dijon were my fav! Fries were sooooooo good and seasoned well! This is a half basket so I can only imagine what a full is! Food was quick and fresh. Free refills on sodas. Plenty of outdoor seating with heaters too.
google avatar

Denise S.

Yelp
My daughter enjoyed her hot dog. The currywurst and bratwurst were okay but not better than I get locally in Phoenix. I think my expectations were too high and I should have gone to a Danish restaurant for lunch like we had for breakfast. Definitely aimed at those that want brats and beer.

Yelp
I didn't try their pork sausages which is what they're known for! However, they did have a huge pot of self serve sauerkraut, in a crockpot out in the open that didn't look very sanitary, along with large bottles of sauces, peppers and relishes for people to use. Bottles were yucky from everyone handling them and no one was wiping them down or cleaning the area so it was pretty gross and unsanitary. Things just didn't seem to show to be loved. I can't imagine what it looks like on a hot summer day when flies are present! Anyways, I got the beet salad, which was okay. There were about 1/3 cup of tiny chopped pickled beets, definitely not enough for a beet salad, served over arugula, and covered with sweet walnuts, and had maybe a tablespoon of goat cheese, thin drizzled with glazed balsamic vinegar and a side of red wine vinaigrette dressing. $11.95 I also got the small pretzel $5.95 that came with a white cheddar cheese sauce from a jar and it was excellent while it was hot, but as soon as it got cold, it turned hard and rubbery. My daughter got their smash burger that came with lettuce, tomato, and grilled onions which she said was delicious. However, the bun was full of grease and soggy and not very edible.

Yelp
Stumbled upon here when visiting solvang a few years ago and came back on our way to LA. We got a sampler of the first 4, as well as a Bavarian pretzel. Everything was really good and I really like that they have a huge selection of self serve sauces and condiments. My only complaint is that there's only outdoor seating and that night it was pretty windy and cold. Service is always super friendly! I highly recommend if you're in the area

Yelp
Oooomg the line here is crazy!!! It's such a long wait but the sausages and beers here are so good! They offer some many difference sauces and toppings. Me and the girls enjoyed dining here!

Yelp
I was told that Solvang is known for 3 things: sausages, pastries, and the views. I honestly would never go out of my way to eat sausages but this spot really hits the spot! I shared a 3 sausage combo with some friends and got the first two options on the menu and the curryworst. I honestly loved the curryworst the most!! The sauces were a great add on but I loved the flavor of the sausages that I ate it mainly alone. I also shared a potato salad (German approved by my friend!) and the large pretzel. Literally don't skip out on the pretzel because the sauce was sooooo good! Only thing I wished was the setup was more big group friendly. I went with a large group and felt separated during the time but everything has been great!

Yelp
Honest straight forward...sausage garden lives up to its name. Limited menu and a help yourself condiment bar. Simple outdoor seating on picnic tables. Casual and delicious!

Yelp
I have been to Solvang on several occasions and never knew Copenhagen Sausage Garden was here until my recent trip. I was on my way out of Solvang, but had to make a stop to get a pretzel LOL. Yes, this was my first time here and I just got a pretzel with dipping sauce. I didn't get a chance to try anything else because I already had other foods earlier. Pretzel comes in two sizes so pick wisely. I got the smaller one. The larger one is double the price I think. A nice gentleman took my pretzel order to-go. Interestingly, ordering and dining both takes place outside. Cooking takes place somewhere inside. They do have covers above the eating area. I guess it's a garden theme. My order didn't take long. Got my pretzel, took some pictures, and I was on my way. Pretzel was soft and chewy. Dipping sauce was cheesy and smooth. Perfect combo! I'll have to come back to dine here and try their non-beef sausage and potato salad plus my pretzel the next time I'm in Solvang.

Yelp
Ordered the 4 sausage sampler - so many to choose from. When we asked for recommendations, we were told they were listed in order of popularity. That helped, so we decided on the bratwurst, kielbasa, jalapeño cheddar bacon, and currywurst. Don't know which one is the bratwurst vs the kielbasa, but we liked the redder one - liked the smokiness of it especially when paired with the sauerkraut. The currywurst was probably the next one I liked most. Also ordered the fries and pretzel - perfect with the sausages. Plenty amount for the 2 of us to share.

Yelp
A cute beer garden with a lot of seating! We got the 4 bratwurst sampler and loved the andouille sausage and the regular bratwurst but the curry bratwurst was a bit dry. They had a lot of sauce options and I loved the spicy brown mustard and there was a mustard that tasted like chipotle which was tasty! I also got the beer sampler and really loved the red ale and got a one liter pint of the white ale which was refreshing! You will most likely have to wait on a line to order but it goes by quick and then you choose your own seating which might seem packed but people go in and out a lot so finding a seat shouldn't be an issue! The city itself is very quaint and cozy so would definitely recommend to visit Solvang!
