We are just coming to the end of our week in Antigua, and it has surpassed all expectations. A huge part of that has been the lovely accommodation and glorious setting of the Copper and Lumber store. Our room, the Georgian Studio, is a spacious, tastefully furnished oasis that has provided a relaxing and beautiful base from which to explore and enjoy the island. The staff have been an endless source of knowledge and support and have made us feel so welcome we shall miss them dearly. |Due to close soon for some works but should be top of the list for anyone looking for the ideal base for a visit to the island after they reopen in the autumn. |

A classy hotel in historic Nelson's Dockyard. High quality furnishing, v comfortable bed. We had a suite but the living area could have been a bit more cosy considering the quality of furnishings. ||This is a small quiet hotel right by the water. It offers only breakfast though an attached restaurant is open for lunch. Surprisingly there is not really anywhere to sit outside and watch the harbour. No loungers or sun chairs. Staff are very nice and there is a kitchenette but if you think high-quality B&B you are nearer the mark. It's in a quiet spot about 5/10 mins walk from main part of English harbour - which we really liked. We hired a car to drive around the west coast beaches.||There was also a water taxi to the lovely Galleon beach for $5 a go. Would have not worries about staying again but if money were no object there are more luxurious options

The drinks were delicious! Tony made the best Nelson Rum punch and Pina |Colada! |Was heavenly to sit beside the harbour in the shade with a cool breeze-looking at the boats, sipping on our drinks in the sun!|We didnt eat here, but the food looked great, too!

We stayed in the Georgian Studio this week and it was spacious, clean and stunning views. Very welcoming and helpful staff and perfect location. Lots to do and see within walking distance and choice of great beaches within easy access by car or boat taxi.

Tony made us feel so welcome and the coffee was presented beautifully and was delicious. I would highly recommend this gorgeous little gem of a place to anyone who visits Nelson’s Dockyard in Antigua. We will definitely visit here again the next time we’re here!

We popped in for a cocktail and Tony the bartenders rum cocktail was the perfect tonic to cap off our visit! His friendly personality charmed us just as much as his cocktails. You will have a great afternoon at the Nelson Boatyard! Stop by and say hi to Tony and grab a drink!

We had a warm welcome at the Hotel from Claudius, who helped us get in from Falmouth. Our room was a perfect combination of modern luxury and historic authenticity (think mini-split air conditioning with exposed brick and lovely beams) and had a wonderful view out over Nelson's Harbor. The staff was cheerful, helpful, and promptly available. Although the hotel was full it felt as if we were the only guests. I'll look forward to returning soon!

This is a gem of a hotel set in the most beautiful part of Antigua Right on the harbour at Nelson’s Dockyard. Our room was called Britannia. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would heartily recommend. Sadly, we weren’t there on a Friday for the fish supper.
