We had a warm welcome at the Hotel from Claudius, who helped us get in from Falmouth. Our room was a perfect combination of modern luxury and historic authenticity (think mini-split air conditioning with exposed brick and lovely beams) and had a wonderful view out over Nelson's Harbor. The staff was cheerful, helpful, and promptly available. Although the hotel was full it felt as if we were the only guests. I'll look forward to returning soon!

A charming historic renovation in the heart of Nelson's Dockyard, the C&LS Hotel delivers an elegant setting and exceptional service. The staff treated us like family and helped with tours, restaurants, water taxis and transportation. They were knowledgeable and arranged everything for us! Helpful and gracious, particularly Kalia, we can't wait to return!

This is a gem of a hotel set in the most beautiful part of Antigua Right on the harbour at Nelson’s Dockyard. Our room was called Britannia. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would heartily recommend. Sadly, we weren’t there on a Friday for the fish supper.

There is a great view of the docks and boats, a great breeze comes indoors. The historic building has great ambiance and plenty of seating for lunch. At the bar Tony gave good reccomendations and made great drinks. We had coconut daiquiris that were incredibly smooth.

Shout out to Tony in the bar for the amazing Bloody Mary and mimosa!|The hotel is also very historic. The area is quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was included, delicious with a gorgeous view of the bay. The staff at the hotel, restaurant and bar were very friendly

Fantastic location in the heart of Nelsons Dockyard, tastefully renovated building full of historic touches. Comfortable room (ours was on 2 levels) Best thing about the place the Staff , Claudius/Gillian/Kalia & Tony wonderful service from them all , were made to feel like old friends from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was good if a little repetitive (7 day stay) waiting staff also pleasant & helpful. Only disappointment was the limited hours the restaurant & bar were open. Really feel the place is underused & has the potential to be much more. I questioned the hours of Bar/restaurant & it was explained that because the Antiguan Parks Department controlled the Dockyard & its buildings to give other businesses a ' fair crack ' Copper & Lumber limited its services. Have to say I found this a little hard to swallow but then I'm not Antiguan & maybe they're just so nice to each other its true ?? They were certainly nice to us & would definitely return .
