"The ruins of a 19th-century copper mine sit atop a rocky outcrop overlooking the churning Atlantic, representing one of the island's most important historic sites; one of six national parks on the island, it offers a windswept, less-visited vantage of the rugged Atlantic coastline and a stark contrast to the island's sheltered, beachy bays." - Carley Rojas Avila

A really cool place to visit with amazing views. It's a very easy hike down to the overlook. There is no charge to visit other than a taxi ride if you don't have a car.

Cool little piece of history, but there is not much information there when visiting. The walk to the ruins is under five minutes, and there's not much to see. The views are great though.

If you've ever watched Poldark on US Public TV or the UK's BBC, then you're gonna love this spot. Here along the ocean is a 18th century Copper Mine rin along the coast on Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands. Free to see but not much to see, it mostly consists of a view, a placard, and a stop.

It's a site to visit, no informational sign, maybe the hurricane washed it away. Nice views from the area.
