If you are looking for a more upscale cocktail experience in lower Lonsdale, this is a great spot. They brew their own vodka and gin. Mixologist seems to know quite a bit and makes good recommendations. Worth a try. They also have a food menu if you are looking to grab a bite

One of the signature places in North Vancouver. they have really crazy nice cocktails. what a beautiful vibe. Even if you’re looking for a special gift for someone they make their own gin and it’s really good. super clean shicky washroom. You have many options to sit inside outside two different bars. Everything is very outstanding and beautiful. Definitely an experience. We will be back

Copperpenny Distilling Co. – North Van Gem Absolutely loved the vibe at Copperpenny Distilling Co. The interior design is stunning—every detail feels intentional and elevated. Their selection of spirits is impressive, with tons of variety and unique options that really set them apart. The drinks were top-notch, both in presentation and taste. Staff were super friendly and attentive, although the service was a bit on the slower side. Prices are on the higher end, but fair for the quality and atmosphere. Overall, it's a fantastic choice if you're looking for a high-end bar experience in North Vancouver. Definitely worth checking out.

Copperpenny... A signature place as another reviewer has commented... Been there several times in past couple of months. Always enjoyed the bar service and have spent a substantial amount of money there each time... Hosts, servers...Ukrainian bartender and another one top shelf and considerate. However... On boxing day brewery crawl, where each experience, staff interaction and establishment was aligned with the festive experience, one copperpenny host was completely off the mark from the festive get go. Insulting, condescending, and discriminate in manner and decency for whatever reason. An ensuing interaction with a bartender/manager who was unaware of what exchange had taken place, was dismissive of the poor service and general demeanor of the host... Chose a threatening thugish approach in dealing with the situation. Happy holidays. Well done tough mate Our group of 6 with out of towner guests wish you well. Thank you for the unexpected and surprising display of whacked out service. We moved along to another festive location. Briefly mentioned our poor treatment and perhaps just coincidentally, the decent folks at the table simply reinforced poor service/experience they'd had there not so long ago. True story

Tasty cocktails especially the espresso martini. The interior decor is pretty and the atmosphere has a nice vibe! The bartenders are pretty cool and will guide you to the best!

Star studded establishment that stands out from the rest on brewers row in North Vancouver. Great, well crafted drinks, fantastic service and enticing atmosphere makes this a spot to seek out on a late night out. Specializing in their own gin and well thought out menu, this is not a spot to look over when going for a jaunt on Esplanade after dark. Currently my favourite spot for a late night drink, and their menu gets better and better with every passing month! Special shoutout to Sara who is incredibly knowledgeable and an absolute encyclopaedia when it comes to the extensive amount of drinks on the menu. We've had the pleasure of being served by her twice thus far and she amplifies an already fantastic outing with her presence!

This is one of those places that feels “too cool” to be Vancouver. It’s a bit out of the way, hidden in an industrial area flanked by automotive garages, but boy is it worth seeking out. The decor and vibe are so cool, and they make their own spirits here. The oyster shell gin is my fave. Happy hour is a great value, but if you’re looking to impress a date, this is the place to take them.

Copperpenny is a gem. Their house-made gin is outstanding, and the cocktails really show it off. Georgia made the whole experience — she’s funny, incredibly knowledgeable, and took the time to walk us through the different gins with real care and enthusiasm. Even though the place was bustling, she made it feel like we were the only people in the room. She truly made us feel as if we were regulars even though it was our first time! Every recommendation hit the mark & She even crafted custom drinks based on what we liked, and they were next-level. You can really taste the craftsmanship behind everything Copperpenny produces. Can’t wait to come back!

impromptu date with my bestie s and this was actually a place that she found that was near me so we finally went and checked it out. the chic retro/vintage decor was VERY instagram-worthy. do note that there's limited food choices but the amazing gin and drinks make up for it. we had ordered our first drinks - s had the crocodile g&t and i had the seasonal gimlet on the happy hour menu. we were wowed with our first sips and we decided to look at the spirits that were for sale. the lovely server - i didn't catch her name - gave us a small little tasting so we could decide on which gin we'd get. i walked off with a small bottle of the gin 005 - i have 6 opened bottles of gin so i had a 2nd drink - the provence g&t that was very light and there's a in-home kit for those that want to bring this drink home with them. for food, we had the baked brie and montego bay jamaican patties. s had a side of olives as well - not my thing but it's def hers the brie had a rum sauce that was on the bottom - it added a nice kick/spice in the dish. the jamaican patties were a surprise - they came in a pastry that reminded us of a samosa/empanadas. the pastry was flakey and i loved the gin chutney. all i can say is that i love how this is super close to where i live - at least i know where i can get my gin fix!

I went to this joint because the owners working at the Lonsdale Quay Christmas Market kindly gave me a card to sample their gin as they were running low in stock. I ended up buying some stuff at the store front. I haven't tried the food, but the gin and tonic was pretty good. The ambiance had a good mood to it and the staff were nice. For a unique gin experience, I would definitely recommend this place.

This place is awesome. Stopped by here on a bar crawl with 5 other friends on a Tuesday night. Service was prompt and friendly. They even let us try a small sample of their Gin 005 before we ordered, which was cool. I enjoy gin cocktails but I've never enjoyed straight gin before, but this one was really nice. We all got different drinks and everyone loved what they got. I had the Copperlady Sour (No. 005 Gin, house made Just a Sec liquor, lemon, egg whites, walnut bitters) and it was excellent. There also was a live musician singing and playing guitar covers. Unclear why she was here on a random Tuesday night and it was a shame it was fairly empty because she was so good. If I'm ever in North Vancouver again, this would be one of my first stops and definitely my first stop for fancy cocktails.

Lovely spacious bar and very cute patio with comfy seating. Love that they do the complimentary taster of their gin on your first visit! Although on the pricy side, it's worth it for the picture worthy cocktails and great flavours. Love the attention that they pay to detail - from the ice cube logo and beautiful glassware to the relaxed yet attentive service!

Absolutely love this place!! 5/5 stars for everything: gin, cocktails, environment, staff, location. This was my first time in Vancouver and one of the first places my family and I popped into to. They were actually closed at the time but they gave us a taste of their gin anyhow and it was amazing! So amazing that we wandered around going to some other places waiting for them to open so we could get the full experience. And it did not disappoint! There is a wide variety of drinks that were all very tasty! And the atmosphere is so fun and cool (but also not too loud which was great). We got to speak with one of the owners and he was so so lovely and told us so much great info. He also told us of a bunch of really exciting things that he has planned! This place will definitely be on my list next time I am up in Vancouver! To visit and also to get another bottle of gin!

What a wonderful experience! We arrived and we're greeted instantly. We were sat at a table close to the retractable door which made for a lovely experience on a summer day. I ended up ordering their weekly special and a French 75, and my partner ordered 2 martinis. The owner took our drink orders and was so incredibly amazing to chat with. The drinks themselves were so good and flavourful. They even offer you a little taste of the gin by itself upon arrival so you understand the flavour profile before ordering your drink. I can't wait to return and try the rest of their menu. Fantastic experience: fantastic drinks, fantastic decor, and fantastic customer service!

Gorgeous place! Super nice staff who like to tell you about the products and their processes distilling and crafting the different gins. The kitchen was down when we went so we had limited snack but they were tasty.

Wow! What a great place! We went here on the Easter Monday Brewery Crawl. Such a lovely place and fun, outgoing, friendly service. Their drinks were outstanding and we bought some gin to go home. Can't wait to go back.

beautiful room, great boozy cocktails, very slow and unfriendly bartender. very unfortunate because this gin room could be fabulous! and is a welcome addition to north Vancouver. sadly the bar staff is pathetically slow and very rude.
