Coppi is a lovely dining experience. If you’re looking for a fine dining experience in Belfast I’d definitely recommend it. We had a few appetizers which were good and I definitely enjoyed my ravioli entree. The service was great and attentive. The low lighting cultivates a nice vibe, as well as the restaurant’s layout. The music was an odd choice to me, not quite as calm as I would like for that atmosphere but maybe that’s just me. Definitely enjoyed it!

Amazing! The place was really busy being a Saturday evening and we had to wait for the table, even though we had a reservation, but it was worth the wait!! Superb food! Great service and we will definitely come again.

Coppi was amazing. I was there for my graduation celebration the week leading up to Christmas and it was so good. Our visit really topped off a really happy day marking the end of my studies in Belfast. We had the choice of ordering from the Christmas menu or the regular menu - we went for the regular. The only snag when I tried to make a reservation was the website not allowing reservation for more than a group of 6, so I had to call. Food was yum - try the nachos and thank me later. Service was attentive. Really can't fault it. Overall, a really positive experience!

First time vising and cannot wait to return! all our dishes were wonderful and flavourful, the staff were friendly and attentive and the cocktails were delicious. a wonderful way to spend our anniversary ❤️

Beautiful atmosphere and wait staff was very helpful. I was unfortunately disappointed with what I ordered. The quality of the food was wonderful but the salt level was overwhelming. I got the tortellini and the gem lettuce salad. I was hoping for a refreshing light salad and this was not that. I didn’t realize it would be served warm and very heavy. This salad paired with the tortellini was unpleasant with all the salt, but those dishes separately would be better.

One of the best Italian meals I have ever had. The pasta nachos were incredible and both the Marsala chicken and the spicy sausage risotto were amazing. I probably could have ordered everything on the menu it all looked fantastic Service was super quick even though the restaurant was full Wine was lovely too. Even though I live in England I am already planning my next trip here!

Service at the highest level, waiters are attentive and polite. You can feel the real Italian spirit. I will definitely come back! Very wonderful and atmospheric place with great food

I can honestly say this is the best service in Belfast, totally worth the 10% add on tip at the end. You are seen and taken care of. The atmosphere here is warm and cozy, love seeing the open kitchen and it was decorated nicely. My friend and I both had the same dish and split the fried gnocchi (fabulous)! The fresh pasta was perfectly Al dente. Can't wait to come again next time I'm here!

Food was interesting and delicious. Gluten free pasta with duck ragu-decadent! Arabbiata was also very good and right amount of spice. Also had the gluten free appetizer of salad with prosciutto and fennel, could eat that every day.

Came here for dinner on our second night in Belfast. I sourced it from yelp and checked with the concierge and our tour guide who both gave thumbs up. We had a reservation via the concierge. The 7 minute walk from the hotel was easy and through a lively and energy filled section of the city. Many other restaurants and bars with folks spilling onto the streets. Coppi is in St Ann's square and there are a number of other eateries there. The place is an open area with a bar to your right as you enter. Tables are spread throughout we were seated in a small alcove with four tables somewhat private from the main dining area. It was 7pm on a Friday the place was heaving. We got some breads and dips and for mains I got black squid penne with shrimp, squid and red sauce. It was wonderful. My wife got duck ragout ravioli she loved it. Service was excellent we had a delightful server recently arrived from Gdańsk.but it was clear there was a team effort going on. We also ordered a bottle of Primitivo from Puglia. All in all a great meal and experience. We noted there was a "discretionary" gratuity automatically added which does not seem discretionary. I had a brief chat with the hostess who said she'd happily remove it we told her it was fine just wanted to make sure it was truly discretionary. We say food "a", service "a", ambiance "b", value "b". We would definitely return. Mark & Nancy.

Outstanding pasta and pizza and Italian food in a lovely environment which brought happiness to everyone in our party.

Amazing food. Chefs do an incredible job layering flavors subtly and deliciously! Risotto was rich and delish. Seafood dish with clams, mussels, fish and broth with Pearl noodles was intensely perfect! Service was excellent. Very good vibe and ambiance. Relaxed but classy

The service was fantastic. Really enjoyed the food and the cocktail menu. The energy is the restaurant was perfect for a weekend night out.

Courteous service. Great food with a variety of wine and drinks menu. Not overly loud. No music no tv's. How refreshing.

Fabulous Italian food in Belfast! By the time we made it to Belfast after an 8-day tour of Ireland, we were ready for something besides pub food. We used Yelp to find an Italian restaurant and found Coppi. It was hard to decide on what to order because the whole menu looked delicious. I was impressed with the vegetarian and vegan menu. We ordered: Cichetti - arancini, ricotta peppers, and calamari Risotto Duck Ragu Tuscan Goat Pappardelle Everyone absolutely loved their food. The cichetti came out super quick, and was gone within seconds. I ordered the risotto, and it was absolutely delicious. It wasn't a creamy risotto like I'm used to, but seemed like it may have been made with a beef broth? The radicchio and hazelnuts on top added the perfect contrast, and I would definitely recommend it. I had a bite of both the duck rags and goat pappardelle, and would recommend those as well. We were too full for dessert, but the cocktails were on point. I had my go to at Italian restaurant, the Aperol Spritz, and it was slightly strong on the aperol, but good. The service was friendly and I enjoyed the dimly lit atmosphere of the restaurant. Minus one star because it was REALLY warm in the restaurant. Everyone had to take layers off while sitting at dinner.

Date visited: 31st Aug 16 Menu: Italian theme with selection of cichetti (small plates) around £3.30 which reduce in price the more you buy. Pizzas, pastas and around 6 "from the grill" options. Cod, pork, beef steaks and chicken etc. Dedicated vegetarian and vegan options too. I opted for Baked cod with shellfish ragu, potato and grilled fennel and taragon salsa rossa at £18. It was really good. The fennel and cod made a great combo. My friend had the monkfish special and said it was fab. Given im not a massive fan of italian places in belfast as they tend to be a bit generic I was presently surprised with Coppi. Service: Staff were friendly. Prices: Cichetti are around £3 Mini pizzas £6 Starters £6 - £15 Mains £13 -£24 Desserts £6 Cocktails £7.50 Wine £18 - £60 Average £24 Decor: Large seated area on one floor with good sized bar at one side. Decor is modern and clean. Atmosphere: Busy and quite loud but a good buzz.

I loved the dark mood lightning in Coppi. It makes it feel more personal. We arrived at 7pm on a Thursday evening and the place was buzzing! Service was quick and pleasant. Not a huge amount to choose from on the menu but still a reasonable choice to suit everyone. We had a sharing platter for starters, between 3 of us and it was plenty. The mains where substantial and I thoroughly enjoyed my rissoto. The highlight of my visit however was the cocktails. A fantastic list to choose from and I found it very difficult to pick one. We ended up having 3 cocktails each and they where all amazing. Everything about this place was nice though I did find it a little pricey!

I was in here in October/November. I loved the food, and the service was good, but the place was stupidly warm. We were sitting there sweating. Just eating and sweating. I was down to my t-shirt and was still sweating. I can't remember being in a restaurant that was so uncomfortably warm. Because the menu was varied and I loved the food, I will return, but I really can't understand the failure to regulate the temperature.

A terrific place with great, fresh food. Its causal but upscale and has some legit tasty food. This a place does it all right from food to drinks to environment. Why no 5 stars? Because this isn't one of the best meals I've ever eaten. 5 stars is reserved for the top of the top only. Coppi is comfortable and delicious. You'll love it.

This Italian restaurant was such a surprise! I heard about it before and wanted to try it but somehow never happened! Finally I went there and I took time to enjoy it! We had a 3 course meal over lunch and took around 2 hours just to appreciate it! I had a polenta salad as a starter, a pork ragu as a main course which was brilliant with daily fresh pasta and birra moretti on the side just to make it perfect! For dessert, vanilla ice cream with caramel sauce and walnut praline! Just like Italians I only drink my espresso after my meal and it was oh so good! (plus I noticed they serve the pizza individually, as it should be - like Italians I don't like to share my pizza :)) Not only the food was superb but the presentation was also wonderful! I love the space (literally!). The industrial look with concrete high ceiling, the lamps, the wooden floor, the tiles, the long bench crossing the restaurant, the wooden tables and the candles all over the place, just to make this open space cosy and comfortable! It works really well and the atmosphere was great! The staff was as friendly as they could possibly be! We didn't have a reservation but the lady at the front desk made sure we felt welcome there! It wasn't busy, just enough to make it cool and so the staff could look after us. It's a true 'hidden' gem this place, beautiful food in a brilliantly decorated restaurant! They also have a special menu over lunch which makes it very affordable! Overall a top-class experience for a reasonable price!

Lovely intimate decor with a view to the chefs at work a feature at the back of restaurant. I ordered pork scallopini from the lunch menu. It had creamy chestnut mushroom sauce fully of flavour. My friend ordered the baked mushroom gnocchi and enjoyed it. Reasonable lunch prices for delicious food. I will definitely return as it would make a nice venue for dinner with family or group of friends

Went to Coppi for my sister-in-laws 40th birthday on Saturday evening of easter weekend and like any sensible Yelper I checked out reviews to see if there was anything on the menu that was particularly recommended! There was a nice buzz around the place but not so loud that we couldn't chat at the table. I was the last to arrive and slightly feeling under pressure to make my choices from the menu which I had already checked out online so had a fair idea what to pick (I'm ridiculously indecisive so getting to check out menus in advance is very useful) For starters a friend & I decided to share some Sourdough Bread with Tapenade and some olive oil with balsamic and a portion of Feta Fritters with truffle honey from the cichetti menu (think Italian tapas) the fritters were deliciously moreish, the bread was tasty and tapenade very good. Main dish I chose Duck Ragu with Porcini Mushroom Ravioli, Truffle & Pecorino, first impressions wow this was a delicious meal, the duck was really tender, pasta was really silky and cooked to perfection and little bits of crispy duck skin added a nice crunchy element to the dish and sauce was full of flavour I could easily imagine sitting in a trattoria in the rolling Tuscan hills eating this with a glass of house wine. The only disappointment was a few bits of duck that were a bit dry and chewy. Onto dessert and I had to chose my favourite Italian dessert of panna cotta, this was a particularly good one with a hint of amaretto and a nice sour cherry jam to cut through the rich milky dessert. Overall I enjoyed eating at Coppi but it is just that bit more expensive than other places in Belfast so definitely one for a treat. Quite fancy going back on a sunny lunchtime to sit outside eating a selection of cichetti washed down with a nice cold beer....just need to wait for the sun!

Possibly my favourite restaurant to eat at in Belfast as I'm never disappointed and always leave feeling satisfied, in some cases too satisfied and need to be rolled out. Staff always pleasant and never leave you waiting long for a table. Food is amazing especially with their ever changing sharing starters. It allows you to try something new, an authentic taste of Italy. Highly recommend with reasonably priced menu. Best pasta you will get!

This was my first visit to coppi and I was very pleasantly surprised. The decor is very modern and stylish and they have a decent little outdoor area - though st Anne's square is a bit of an odd place. We ordered a number of small dishes between 3 of us which was plenty and very reasonably priced. My favourite was the scallops in leek and bacon sauce. Beautifully cooked. I'd definitely recommend this place for a quick bite to eat.

Great decor and attentive waiting staff. I had the 5 tapas style dishes. An interesting choice including squid and goat. The highlight was the dessert Caramel and chocolate pie. Very sweet.

After the marathon, I needed some recovery fuel. We decided on Coppi, a fairly new Italian place in St. Anne's square that features sharable tapas like dishes. The Sicilian braised Goat pizza comes served on this little platter either a tiny old man made in Italy or what might be the tires from our last rental car. The goat is crispy and tangy and after a few bites, packs a tingly punch. Don't skip it unless you hate delicious little tin can eating mammals. The Cabrese pasta was recommended by our friendly locals so all four of us ended up ordering it. Worth it! The peppers and chili oil combined for a fiery spice that continued to grow throughout the meal, sort of like a good ramen. The cheese was sliced paper thin, so it melted consistently into the pasta and made it creamier. do like our friends and order this once, and you'll love it so much you never try anything else. Last up was the hazelnut pudding. The ice cream melted into the "pudding" which we were surprised to find wasn't jello instant pudding, but more like a bread pudding. It paired very well with the house espresso which true to their Italian roots, was excellent and served with a biscotti. The staff was exceptionally friendly and comped a misplaced coffee order for us.

Despite the industrial feel (and some of the chairs pretty uncomfortable) there is something so cosy and comforting about Coppi. Italian in theme, but definitely not your Pizza express, the menu ranges from small plates of Italian style tapas to pizettis (small bread-like pizzas) to more wholesome pasta dishes, with the pasta made daily in house. We started with some of the chicettis to share, and followed with the steak (I know, not very Italian) with parmesan & rosemary fries. The whole thing was delicious, and the service was great, if a little hipster-trendy for my liking, but that says more about me than them. ;-) Always buzzing it is a perfect spot for catching up with friends, and on occasion when we haven't been able to get a table we've been able to sit at the bar enjoying the small plates and gin- they also do good gin, so what's not to like!

Delicious food and very pleasant setting. I went to Coppi with a few friends after a couple of drinks and we ordered quite a few small plates between us. We were all pretty hungry as it was the second place we'd tried to get food and ended up having more pints instead in the first place so I was glad when the food arrived pretty quickly. The seafood was delicious - we had a seafood gratin, scallops and calamari between us. The breads and dips were lovely and fresh. We also had a wee flatbread pizza thing so we had plenty to soak up the beers as well as the tasty little tidbits. I'd definitely recommend this place for a bit of casual dining at a reasonable price.

I have a thing for little plates of food and good Bloody Mary's and this place does both perfectly! Like its sister Il Pirata in East Belfast, this place does authentic Italian mini plates of joy. Great service and lovely moody dimly lit atmosphere. Always easy to get a table in any time I have went, and if you want to continue your night in there they have a lovely big bar at the front to sip your extra spicy bloody Mary's from.

Been here several times over the past few years since moving to Belfast, and to be honest, while their main plates are pretty good, the real reason to go here would be for the chichetti. Think of them as Italian tapas. Honestly, if I had it my way and didn't mind looking like the human equivalent of a vacuum cleaner, I would order 10 plates of the Feta Fritters with Truffle Honey, and just inhale them all in about 5 seconds. They're that good. Shout out to their Parmesan Fries. Great food, but I prefer going there for smaller dishes before moving on elsewhere for the main meal.

Returned to Coppi this past November and once again was blown away by the food. This time I enjoyed my meal alone with my journal and a great glass of wine. I noted that I'd be traveling solo in my reservation and was sat at the perfect table for me, myself and I. I adore Coppi. It continues to be some of the most fantastic food I've treated myself to in my entire life. Please open a restaurant in New York City!

Coppi is without a doubt my favourite restaurant in Belfast. Having been a number of times I have yet to be disappointed. The service, atmosphere and most important, the food, are top notch. I visited for dinner on Saturday night having the sourdough breads for starter and smoked chicken papperdelle for main. Despite it being a very busy night the staff were extremely attentive and our meal was served in good time without feeling rushed. Can't wait for my next visit!

Tried Coppi for the first time tonight. Very impressed, had a delicious main of smoked chicken, leek and garlic cream tortellini. Shared a starter of sourdough breads- so fresh! The Hendricks Garden cocktail was also lovely. I will be back!

Coppi is simply awesome. If you're going to visit one restaurant in St Anne's square, make it this one. It's an Italian restaurant, but miles better than any other Italian currently in Belfast. I love their small plates (chichetti) and really recommend the feta fritters with honey; try them along with a starter of Coppi sourdough breads, oils and tapenade. Makes for a luscious starter to share with friends. The small individual pizzas are amazing too, especially the zucchini, eggplant, black olive and goats cheese pizza. Great food, wine and service; a fabulous, relaxed, unpretentious place that's just all about delicious food. I can't recommend Coppi enough.

A great find for vegans. The location of this restaurant is great...central downtown area. The inside of the restaurant is hip and upbeat. We ordered the vegan pizza, minestrone and mushroom ravioli. It was so nice to find a vegan ravioli!! All of our food was very good. The service was amazing. We got the chocolate cake dessert to go and it was some of the best chocolate cake we have ever had. This is a must stop!

The food here was delicious! We ordered the salmon, garlic gnocchi, broccolini, and summer minestrone. The salmon was cooked beautifully and paired well with chickpea and tomato sauce. The garlic gnocchi was friend and served as a side. We stumbled upon this place on a road trip through Ireland. So glad we did!

Excellent highly recommend, great food, friendly service and one of the only places in Belfast serving food until 10pm on a Wednesday!

The service we received from our server was laughably bad - we waited 20 min to be greeted and didn't see her again after she took our order. We waited 25 min after our main plates had been cleared to flag down a busser to cash us out. However, the food is delicious and arrived promptly after we ordered. The kitchen, food runners and bussers made up for our server's incompetence.

What a lovely restaurant right in the middle of st annes square. We did a sort of tapas style meal ordering all the little dishes. We had a great time, wjth great food and great service.

I'm visiting from New York and stopped here for a bite and dessert. I ordered the vegetarian pesto ravioli and tiramisu. The staff was very nice and the ambiance was hip and modern, but I found the food to be less than than delicious compared to the Italian food available in the States. The vegetarian pesto was not al dente, and it was overly dressed in oily pesto. The tiramisu didn't have the light, airy, soaked sponge that it should have. It also had a layer of solid chocolate which may be popular, but isn't traditional. Verdict: not worth the calories.

You won't find any carbonara or bolognese on the menu here. It's great take on authentic Italian and well worth a visit. The setting is very cool and well decorated. A great spot if it was just a bar to chill out in, but throw in some fantastic food and it makes for a great experience. I had a duck tortellini ragu and my friend a squid ink crab linguini. Both we thought were delicious. If you want something different from your usual Italian experience and better, you have for to try Coppi.

A group of us dined here mid April and were very pleased with food and service. Great choice of small plates and mains. We attempted to try as much a group of 5 could. i had a delicious King prawn linguini and was delighted to have a decaf espresso martini for dessert. very obliging staff and great atmosphere.

Nice little spot for lunch. Their fetta fritters covered in truffle honey are delish.

One of the many great restaurants around St. Anne's Square, Coppi is one of my favourites for lunch. The space is large, funky and industrial in feel yet manages to be cosy and welcoming. I had squid with rocket and aioli to start which was light and nicely cooked, not rubbery in the slightest. Main was a smoked pancetta and mushroom linguine which again felt wonderfully light but packed with flavour. The highlight however was the dessert, a little pot of strawberry panna cotta topped with meringue and a lemon curd... Absolutely lovely, the type of dessert that brings a smile to your face! Overall a great place for an enjoyable lunch. I hope to be back soon to see what its like by night!

Been to Coppi lots of different times and have always had a good experience. They will even try their best to squeeze you in somehow when it's jam packed. I love the food and the staff are friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend!

The food here was superb! I still fondly think of the food... The minestrone, the gnocchi fritti and the broccolini made for some excellent starters and sides. And I absolutely LOVED the salmon. Everything I had was cooked to perfection.

Just like its sister restaurant's this is a must visit- set in a great place and with a funky industrial vibe inside it, really great night with friends/or other couples! Love the sharing tapas and the cocktails are a must!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great Staff and just a really good buzz!

Surprisingly big inside, but very comfy and welcoming. A nice simple menu, great food and efficient pleasant staff. Hope to return soon.

One of the best restaurants in Belfast. The staff are brilliant. Knowledge of the food was superb. Front of house staff are amazing. Been back 4 times now.
