Copthorne Hotel Sharjah

I had one of the worst hotel experiences of my life with this property, and I strongly advise others to avoid it at all costs, especially if you book through an online travel agency.||I originally had a confirmed reservation through MakeMyTrip. Due to specific circumstances, I contacted MakeMyTrip to modify my check-in date. MakeMyTrip clearly confirmed to me that:| • The hotel had agreed to the date modification| • I would pay any difference in the new day rate, which I fully accepted||Armed with this confirmation, I arrived at the hotel — only to be denied check-in at the reception.||I immediately contacted MakeMyTrip again. They made multiple attempts to reach the hotel, but the hotel refused to respond. MakeMyTrip then asked me to hand the phone to the reception manager so they could resolve the issue directly. Shockingly, the reception manager insisted that all communication be done only via email.||This led to a two-hour delay, during which I was left standing at the reception with no room, no explanation, and no accountability from the hotel.||Eventually, MakeMyTrip claimed that the hotel requested an amended voucher, which was promptly sent. Instead of honoring it, the reception manager then claimed that the room was no longer available.||This behavior clearly shows:| • No intention to honor confirmed agreements| • No willingness to cooperate with MakeMyTrip| • Zero respect for guests’ time, stress, or inconvenience| • Extremely poor communication and customer handling||What makes this even worse is that the situation could have been resolved easily, but both the hotel and MakeMyTrip showed complete lack of responsibility and ownership. I was left stranded despite doing everything correctly and following official confirmations.||This was not a misunderstanding — it was gross mismanagement and negligence.||I will never stay at this hotel again, and I seriously question how such a place is allowed to operate with such disregard for guests. If you value your time, peace of mind, and basic professionalism, do not book this hotel.

A brilliant stay! The attention to detail here is clear from the moment you walk into the lobby. Our in-room washroom and the general room cleaning were top-notch—honestly, pristine. The lobby restrooms were also perfectly maintained. Beyond the superior hygiene, the room quality and size were excellent. What made the difference was the housekeeping staff, who were fantastic, particularly their supervisor, Mr. Shardul. He leads a great team and ensures everything runs smoothly. Highly recommend for a spotlessly clean and comfortable trip.

The base rooms are terrible, next to heavy renevation works. And the haggle with clients as a strategy to give expesive room upgrades. They did not inform about facade cleaning, so we slept with open curtains. when i woke up, there were men hanging from outside my room window and i felt like my privacywas being violated.

A truly outstanding stay! From the moment we stepped into the lobby, the level of maintenance was evident—even the lobby restrooms were impeccably clean and well-maintained, a great first impression. Our room quality and size were excellent, providing a very comfortable experience. What truly set this hotel apart was the cleanliness: both the room cleaning and the washroom in our room were absolutely top-notch. The entire housekeeping staff deserves high praise for their dedication, especially Mr. Shardul, the housekeeping supervisor, whose professionalism and attention to detail made our stay exceptional. Highly recommended!

We had an excellent family stay in a newly renovated suite. The room was clean and tidy, with a relaxing bed and an excellent washroom with a bathtub. The Housekeeping Team was warm, friendly, clean, and timely. The hotel ambiance is great, featuring a nice lobby with live plants and an on-site Tim Hortons coffee shop. Public areas, including the pool and gym, were all well-maintained. Highly recommended!

Me and my family stayed at the Copthorne Hotel Sharjah for a week. We were shocked by the stunning view we had. The rooms are very clean and the personal very kind and helpful. We want to thank especially Rana. She is always very kind, helped us at all times and is always smiling, making us feel very comfortable in the hotel. We recommend the Copthorne Hotel Sharjah.

This hotel provides an outstanding experience. The public areas (lobby and washrooms) are impeccably clean and feature a lovely design with excellent ambiance; the lagoon restaurant boasts a stunning view. Our room comfort and quality were excellent, offering great size, decor, and a desirable view. The amenities, particularly the awesome swimming pool and gym, are top-tier. Finally, the staff is exceptionally helpful, with housekeeping performance being notably high. A truly perfect and highly recommendable stay.
