Copthorne Hotel Sharjah

I had a wonderful experience during my recent stay at the Copthorne Hotel in Sharjah. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the reception staff, who were not only professional and efficient but also genuinely friendly. They made check-in smooth and quick, and were always ready to assist with any questions or requests throughout my stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, offering a relaxing space with everything I needed. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was peaceful and well-organized. A special mention goes to the restaurant personnel, who truly elevated the dining experience. The staff were attentive, courteous, and always smiling. The food was fresh, delicious, and offered a good variety to suit different tastes. I especially appreciated the breakfast buffet, which was well-stocked and beautifully presented. Overall, I highly recommend Copthorne Hotel Sharjah for both business and leisure stays. The warm hospitality from both the reception and restaurant teams made all the difference. Looking forward to coming back again!

The first impression, the hotel is not large, early check-in is charged, even with the kid. The breakfasts are modest, no coffee machine. The swimming pool is not big, and unfortunately not clean, the birds come to drink water and their feathers are in the area. The location is perfect, 25 minutes everywhere, to the fountains, to the markets, to the City centre, to the beach, to the walking area. The gym is pretty good, but the sauna wasn’t heated up properly.. The transfer to the beach is private Mitsubishi Pajero, since no one except us went to the beach))). The rooms are not cleaned very properly, no vacuuming, and the furniture is quite old. Although all you need you can request, iron, shaving set, tea sets, water, etc. Anyway the total experience is absolutely lovely, since the weather and the ocean were our highest priority.

We had excellent service at the hotel. We had forgotten a bag in the room and a very nice lady from the housekeeping by name Lilian Made it sure she gets bag back to us. And took effort in finding us . Honesty is appreciated.!!

I stayed here with my wife and two children in September. I stayed in another hotel in the area that was more luxurious. This hotel felt dated from the beginning and I was disappointed throughout. To be fair, they are undertaking a renovation and I hope that they will resolve many of the issues. Good points: view from restaurant; lovely staff e.g. restaurant manager Lotfi. Rooms and bathrooms were spacious and clean. Bad points: we had two rooms and one of them stank of cigarettes. The place is dated overall and generally felt disappointing. We could see areas of disrepair at every turn. The pool is very small and broken tiles everywhere. The breakfast was very limited. Worst point of all: while checking in, the ceiling above my family exploded and rained metal parts down everywhere! We went running and screaming into the office. Thank God we were all safe but it could have been lethal - no exaggeration. The hotel should not be open. It was an absolute disgrace.

Great Experience: Clean, Friendly, Comfortable I had a fantastic stay at this hotel apartment. First impressions were excellent - the whole place is very nice and impressively clean. The staff deserve special mention for their consistently good attitude; they were friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. The rooms themselves were also very good – comfortable, well-maintained, and met all my needs perfectly. Highly recommend!

I had one of the worst hotel experiences here. I booked the hotel for two days and specifically requested a smoking room, but I was given a non-smoking room instead. The male receptionist at check-in was very unpleasant, which gave me a bad first impression. The room I was given (Room 809) had several issues. The doorbell and notification system didn’t work, so I couldn’t request housekeeping properly. The room itself was old and poorly maintained. I had to call three times just to get a dental kit, and the lady who answered the phone kept transferring my call to reception without listening to me. It felt like she was ignoring my calls on purpose. The bathtub was damaged and the drain stopper didn’t work. A maintenance guy came to check but never returned. I requested a room change on the first day, and the receptionist (Ahmed) said they’d try the next day since the hotel was fully booked. However, the next day I had to keep calling and again, no one helped. I finally had to go down to reception, where a staff member named Sara promised to get back to me, but I never heard from her. The room had a bad smell, was dusty, and had old furniture. Overall, the customer service, especially at the reception, was terrible. It felt like the staff didn’t care at all. The only positive thing I can mention is the restaurant staff. They were friendly and provided good service, and the food was okay. Unfortunately, I will not return to this hotel and would not recommend it to anyone. I hope the management seriously looks into improving service and removes the lady who answers the phone, as she clearly has no interest in helping guests.

My stay at Copthorne Hotel in Shrjah was fantastic! The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with a comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful (I can name Mustafa, Rana and Nahom) , going above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a wide variety of options. The hotel's location was perfect. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sharjah.

The room was spotless, fresh, and beautifully arranged every day. Her effort truly made my stay more comfortable and pleasant. Thank you for the excellent service!
