This is a charming place to stop for an elegant nosh. The pastries are wonderful, very precisely made. Robert, our waiter, brought us a chocolate confection that looked like a perfectly haberdashered pillbox hat, but was layered inside, complex, and tasted like Heaven. The macrons are justly famous; try the praline version. Finally, get Robert to make you an Old-Fashioned. It's not like the ones my grandmother used to drink, and yet I know she would have loved it.
