Super delicious and tasty vegan/vegetarian food. One of the best veg meal I've eaten in Portugal so far! Service a tad slow but otherwise perfect!

There is vegetarian cuisine and then there is 'gourmet cuisine that is vegetarian'. This restaurant exemplifies gourmet cuisine that also happens to be vegetarian, healthy, made with care, and presented beautifully and graciously. We so enjoyed our recent lunch here. The flavors, textures, colors, and of course...the taste made for an elevated culinary experience. We also appreciated the friendly, helpful service and the relaxing verdant ambience of the restaurant's courtyard. We look forward to returning here again soon. Muito obrigado!

Cor de Tangerina is a magical place. Nestled in a historic building right next to the castle with a beautiful luxuriant terrace this outstanding restaurant has it all. My friends and I were very well received by the professional yet caring staff. They were especially patient with us as we were dining with a one year old. The food itself was delicious, made from local seasonal produce, much of it grown by the owners themselves. If I can give you just one tip : keep some space for dessert, you’ll regret it your whole life of you don’t ! I can only recommend this restaurant, it is one of a kind !

Took my husband to this little Gem, he is a serious meat eater but really enjoyed his meal. Its a rustic earthy place, quite magical on the terrace with an olive tree and fauna all around you.The food was beautifully presented, tasted amazing and staff attentive to your needs.

Located just behind the castle, the location is perfect. The meals are delicious, and even if you are not a vegetarian, you will still struggle to pick between dishes, since it all looks good. The prices are a little higher for other places around, but the quality matches it. The service was great and you do not need to speak portuguese. However, cash is the only option for payment.

This was literally heaven on earth. I’ve never tasted anything so good in my entire life. We had gratin pasta with vegan cheese in it, with well cooked veggies under it… even the sauce was perfect and you can notice the difference in the freshness of the elements of your plate. For dessert I had a delicious carob mousse. The place was also really old cottage aesthetic vibes and we love to see it. Perfect location where Portugal was born? What can I ask for more?

Unbelievable good vegan organic food. The atmosphere was incredible. It was so calm and beautiful to sit there in the garden. If I would come back, I would definitely eat there again. It is definitely a recommendation and a must do for everyone, even if you like meat, you have to give them a try. The food is made with love and passion. The price was also for that experience more than fair.

A great vegetarian/vegan restaurant, just a short walk from the palace and castle. The daily special today featured a drink (I chose the mixed fruit juice), main course of seitan and rice with a salad plate, and a chocolate cake with chestnut cream and lemon for dessert. All were delicious, and the atmosphere was calm and friendly. Highly recommended for a fulfilling lunch or dinner. There's a wide range of teas to choose from too, both hot and cold. You can also buy satchels of organic tea.

Great place: nice garden at the outside patio, really tasty food and prices well-adjusted. Totally worth it.

So hard to find vegetarian in Portugal, as food is very meat/seafood driven. This restaurant is not only vegetarian, but it's super delicious and has an innovative menu. Get a table outside on the patio in summer, it's a win-win!
