Coral Bay Villas

Recently returned from another great trip to San Pedro, Belize. I once again stayed at what has become my home away from home Coral Bay Villas. With every visit there are more and more choices of places to stay. I’m sure there are less expensive and I know there are much more expensive places to stay. Coral Bay is convenient. It is close enough to town that you can take a 15-20 walk down the beach and be in the center of San Pedro. Yet Coral Bay is far enough away that it is quiet and peaceful. The view at Coral Bay. My vocabulary will not adequately describe what I believe is one of if not the best view on the island. There usually is a day that I don’t leave Coral Bay. From the porch or balcony to the pool the view takes me to a place I do not have words to describe. Over the years Freddy and Miriam have become more than friends. They are family. Frankly I am torn saying all the wonderful, positive things I want to say about Coral Bay and just saying I had a great time. I’m almost afraid to say How great Coral Bay really is as more and more people will be staying there and I won’t be able to reserve a condo when I want too. I have already booked my return trip. If you have never been to San Pedro, or never stayed at Coral Bay Villas feel free to ask anything you would like.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to San Pedro and our stay at Coral Bay Villas. My wife and I walked the beach often, and we would still chose Coral Bay Villas over other options. The location, pool and ocean view were ideal. More importantly, the staff were exceptional. Mariam, Freddy and the property management team were responsive, accessible and extremely helpful from beginning to end!

Loved the quaintness of Coral Bay Villas. It is located in a quiet area but was close enough to restaurants and grocery stores. The view from our room was amazing. Freddie and Miriam were so kind and helpful. Also had great service with organizing our scuba and snorkelling tours. I would highly recommend this place!

Our party of three had such an amazing getaway at Coral Bay Villas in San Pedro! Based off a referral from a friend, we booked the Eagle Ray Suite, and it did not disappoint! The property is beautiful with a breathtaking view – everything was super clean, and our villa had all the necessary amenities including beach towels, sunscreen, bug spray, water, etc. Our suite was spacious and wonderfully decorated and again, did I mention the view? The property itself is centrally located, surrounded by golf cart rentals, a gas station, and a supermarket, all within walking distance. You could easily take a stroll into town (~1 mi) but we preferred to zoom around in the cart. There is also a beach bar located next door, the staff is super friendly, and the food is delicious! We went into town each evening to dine and shop, there are tons of restaurants to choose from and stores to peruse. The Sunrise Property Management team was FANTASTIC! We mostly interacted with Freddie but the whole team (Simon, Freddie, Karina, Miriam, Terrylee, Danny and Elena) were so hospitable and helpful – every question was answered in a timely manner, extremely friendly and great communication throughout. The guide provided is also extremely helpful, it was great to have all that information at our fingertips. Cannot recommend this property enough, looking forward to visiting San Pedro again and staying at Coral Bay Villas! Thanks, team!

This was our first time in Belize and we are so happy that we picked Coral Bay Villas! Absolutely loved everything about it, from amazing views, clean and lovely rooms, to great staff! It is in a quiet area but is walking distance from great restaurants and grocery stores. There is a beach restaurant right next door which serves great food and drinks. Of course the scuba diving and snorkelling is amazing.|Highly recommend and will be back!

We really enjoyed our week stay in Unit #2. The rooms were clean, and the bed was very comfy. Everything we needed was provided. Freddie and Miriam were friendly and helpful. Coral Bay is close enough to groceries and several restaurants and far enough from all the noise . The view is amazing. I would stay here again.

We loved our stay at Coral Bay Villas. We looked at a lot of places online before deciding on Coral Bay, and after arriving and seeing some of those other places while walking along the beach, we were very happy with our decision. This location is excellent for those who want to be a short golf cart ride from town (2 or 3 minutes) while also enjoying peace and quiet. The condo was exactly as pictured, and although it did get warm in the living room (that’s bound to happen in May), the AC in the bedroom worked like a dream. The best part is hands down the grounds and the pool area—Freddie keeps everything beautiful and meticulous. The beach in front of the villas was also much better than the beaches in front of the surrounding hotels—much less sargassum washing up on shore and just generally more accessible and scenic. There are beach bars/restaurants at the neighboring resorts on both sides, which was perfect, and a great little coffee spot next to a couple other restaurants just across the road that leads to the villas. The staff and property management also made our stay so much easier by booking our flights to San Pedro from the mainland, arranging for our transportation from the airport, having our golf cart delivered to the property as soon as we checked in, and being available throughout our stay to answer questions or to help with anything we needed. I really appreciated not having to worry about those details as a first-timer to San Pedro. Overall, we loved Coral Bay and are already planning a return trip this winter!

We have been staying at Coral Bay Villas for 19 years and already have 2025 booked. The staff is always pleasant and willing to do anything to make our stay enjoyable and very relaxing. The amazing beach views and easy walking access to both downtown to the north and shopping/eating areas just south make this accommodation a true gem amongst the bigger condo complexes. You will not regret it!
