Coral Cove Apartments

I was directly discriminated against illegally for having an assistance animal. I was told by KAREN that she had to talk to someone then hung up on. When I called back I was told that she had spoken to someone on the committee and they refused a book after also giving me a price above what it should’ve been to book and told they don’t accept support animals WITHOUT DOCUMENTATION. I will be taking this to the Human rights Commission for direct discrimination to a person with a disability. Absolutely disgusted. I was hung up on 3 times. Karen seems to think laws don’t apply to their establishment and that discrimination is ok. Also there’s a cyclone and we needed somewhere safe to be.

Beautiful location. Spacious apartments. Could be a cleaner. Great view. The only thing bringing the rating down is the reception service, very rude and unpleasant experience. Purely would not stay again because of that

Coral Cove Apartments is a great place to stay when visiting Bowen. The view is so amazing you could be on a tropical island. The boat ramp is just a short 200m away and Horseshoe Bay is so beautiful. I have been here before but this trip was just my teenage daughter and I + her new sailboat. The Manager was able to get us a room on short notice in summer (we are very grateful) and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to help me out (a stressed mum trying to work out a new boat with a teenager), he really made what was a bit of a stressful trip for us feel so much more relaxed. Having the restaurant on site is really convenient and the local cafe is a short walk away which is great. If you visit call ahead and make a booking for their midweek special dinner (I think on a Tuesday?) it is a nice night out and less than a 5 minute walk. My daughters favourite activity (aside from sailing) was to sit in the rocks in front of the resort reading a book and watching the bay. This is a very family friendly resort and every time we visit I feel we are treated very well by the Manager and staff which really makes for a great holiday. We hope to make this an annual destination.

We stayed in room 15. View was beautiful, beaches were walking distance and parking was gated and secure. There are complimentaryluggage trolleys available for use. Room was clean. I had to login for work at times and wifi connection was excellent. Some of the decor and kitchen utensils are a bit dated and need replacing. Lady at reception was lovely and polite. Would we stay again? Yes.

Great resort. Under new management as of January 2025. I noticed some people reported issues with cleanliness and damaged pool /spa facilities.||We were up here in Jan/Feb 2025 when the cyclone was brewing and despite the grey skies had a great time!||Pool and spa were nice and clean. ||Three bedroom apartment was clean and nice.||New motel manager, I think her name is Kate? and her assistants Chris and another young lady were friendly and accomodating.||Saw about four Green Sea Turtles off the beach as well as a Manta Ray and lots of lovely fish and birds.||The kids loved the pool and gardens full of butterflies!||The ocean views are unrivalled. Even on a wet/cloudy day!||Will be very keen to return.

Booked direct. Lovely apartment with a great view (unfortunately it was very wet in late Jan). Good communication and nice staff. Underground car park very convenient. Well equipped kitchen and laundry. Comfortable beds. Lovely walking tracks nearby. It’s a bit out of town but has a restaurant on site.

The room and veiw was amazing. 4 us over 50's booked there. Weren't there not even2 hours and told to turn the music down. Not loud at all. Told we were smoking 3 we're non smokers One of there elderly residents complained. Privacy[none] would knock then open door no time for us to open it. Uneasy all week end. Won't be back. On a good note the restaurant was amazing will go back there to eat

Outstanding accomodation with uninterrupted views of the ocean right on the doorstep. These apartments are equipped with everything you need |and impeccably clean. Secure undercover parking; even have trolleys available to take your gear up to your room via the elevator. Lovely clean pool, green well kept gardens + onsite restaurant. Less than 5 min to the supermarket. Did I mention the crystal clear ocean On. Your. Doorstep. This place is amazing and will definitely stay again.
