This was a stay for my fiancés 50th birthday. I Emailed in advance to request a high floor room, which we always do in any hotel for quiet and a sea view. Our high floor couldn’t be met but the lovely receptionist did say it’s a great room you have and she was right, although the odd scraping of chairs above was why I request high floor. |If you’re a light sleeper the rooms in block B are noisy, we struggled the first couple of nights, the bathroom and kitchen do have open vents in the wall and the road noise can be loud. The room had everything you could ask for and more but is dated, even just a lick of paint would be good, but the bed is comfortable, shower is good and view is great.|I have a couple of suggestions, the bar and restaurant closes if nobody is there by 8pm so if you return from an evening out there is nowhere to go. Why not do something to encourage guests to have a drink before they go out, maybe a happy hour or set up a cocktail area up on the Blue Orchid decked area to watch the sunset. Maybe these things have been trialled and were too quiet to accommodate in which case fair enough. Also the sargassum once dried out attracts flies, there are plenty of staff to tend to the gardens, why can’t they rake it up? |There is a large supermarket close by so be sure to stock up on drinks you might need oh and food I guess! The restaurant food was just ok, however the fishcakes were the best I’d tasted. We ate at many restaurants and Worthing Food Court a few times which is good for a cheaper night out. Don’t overlook Corky’s close by, my fiance had a great steak there. |The location really makes this hotel value for money and yes I would return but would only recommend it to friends if they manage their expectations of its basic charm.

The hotel itself is a little dated and basic. But the rooms are spacious and clean, the staff, especially Tisha, are super friendly, accommodating and helpful. They booked taxis, gave advice and were always there for us. The location is excellent. Right on the beach. Every room has a sea view and because there are no windows on the road side of the accomodation, there was no road noise. The sea itself was pretty loud but we liked that. The area feels very safe and the rooms all have a security latch on the inside of the door. The housekeeping standards were excellent. For a budget hotel we were very happy.

Another fabulous 2 week stay at Coral Mist. Already planning a return visit. ||Plus Points:|1. LOCATION.|2. Seaview - Every Room |3. Cleanliness of rooms, basic room but you spend very little time in it.|3. Staff as so lovely.|4. Near to fabulous Devchan Pub (great food/cheap drinks (turn right out of hotel and near traffic lights).|5. Pools great, not Massive, but cleaned every morning |6. Lovely walk along the beach, look out for turtles about 3/4 way down. |7. Nice people staying at the hotel. ||Negatives:|Restaurant is dreadful, don’t bother using it. The staff are rude, the drink and food prices are day light robbery. |It is such a shame, as it let’s the hotel down and it is not even there’s, need to consider a new franchise to March the ||It would have been a 5 star review if it was not for the restaurant.

Lovely self catering hotel. Room service was lovely and cleaned the apartment well. The views were amazing location was fantastic as we were near a food court which had a variety of food trucks every day, supermarkets no far and walking distance to Chefette!! The rooms were spacious and views were everything with the beach right there if people are taking over the pool (which happened when we were there) but we didn’t miss out as the beach was beautiful. The only down sides; bathrooms need updating, parking is very tight and some female staff need to be a friendlier. I would definitely stay again and look forward to it

Location is superb. Directly on the beach and walking distance from several other beaches and plenty of bars and restaurants from budget to top-end. Rooms are a little dated, but views from the 1st floor are amazing. Service was absolutely excellent from every member of staff, but particularly Tisha who did everything to make this the best of holidays.

We had a wonderful stay at Coral Mist, a lovely rustic hotel in a fantastic location in Worthing. Our room was a studio type I believe (A210) which was spacious, clean and had lots of storage/hanging space, a comfortable bed, kitchenette area and adequate bathroom. The balcony directly overlooked the stunning beach, and we went to sleep every night listening to the waves, which was lovely. The staff at the hotel were all so friendly and they couldn’t do enough for us; all very helpful. We didn’t use the restaurant so cannot comment on that. |The hotels location couldn’t be better in my opinion. Bus stop outside, lots of beaches within walking distance, Rockley one way and Worthing the other, many great bars and restaurants in close proximity, Worthing Food Court just down the road (just over 5 mins walk) as was the supermarket and St Lawrence Gap was about a 15 minute walk. We had a fabulous holiday and loved Barbados and all its charm and will definitely return to Coral Mist in the future.

Great little hotel with a perfect location. 5 min walk to supermarket & Worthing Food Square, 30 min walk to St Lawrence Gap. Rooms are a little dated but are cleaned to a very good standard. They come very well equiped if you di want to cook whilst here. We've been here twice now an would 100% come back again and would recommend
