This cozy little motel has a wonderful retro look, but has been modernized for the 21st century traveler. My room was clean, the bed was super comfortable, and I even had an ergonomic chair and a desk to sit at and work while I was there. All of the usual amenities you’d expect from a modern motel are here: wi-fi, microwave/mini-fridge, very large flat screen TV (with HBO!). The proprietors are super nice and helpful people to boot. I absolutely loved how much of the old motel they’ve managed to retain even after remodeling and modernizing. How often can you call a stay at a motel memorable?

The only place on the airport strip that would accommodate us at such an early hour. Small hole in the wall, but the entire building looked renovated. Its clean. Inside and outside. Parking lot was also clean. Doesnt have that hotel smell. Well lit so it felt safe. Linens were fresh. My dad is older, cant bend or walk far. Got in at 5am-6am and were able to pay cash even tho we had to pay for 2 days since check out is 11am. We paid for 2 days, but we didnt care. Theyre cheap-ish. Gent with the beard at the front desk was the best. I was dead tired and the gent at the front desk carried our bags and put the AC on. Super courteous and on top of it. The place is small and dim, but we just needed a place to crash before our 7pm flight the same day. Will be coming here again.

Stayed here September 13, 2021. Very clean. Owners are awesome. Worth the price trust me. I would recommend this place to anyone. Why spend over a hundred dollars when you get the same kind of room here. I like that it is only 1 level hotel. No stairs, door opens to parking. Thank you very much to owners. This will be my go to place to stay when visiting El Paso. Also the number 50 bus has a stop right around the corner, $1.50 gets you to airport in about 10 mins. Very convenient!

Google
Took me time to get to this review. But the new guy in the front is horrible. I have stayed at this motel plenty of times with no issues with my self nor the company I have. All of a sudden on my most recent visit. I was being harassed through out the night over the phone and by him physically walking to the door banging. I am a government employee and will never return while he is working there nor will i recommend. He needs to be fired.

You can't beat it for $58 a night in El Paso. There's not very many amenities but there's food and other small options within walking distance. The room was clean enough but the quilts seem to see their fair share of wear. There was a few old cigarette Burns in the top sheet but not quite all the way through. The room itself was relatively clean and there was a TV with free HBO. Plenty of hot water and water pressure in the shower. If you're looking for a budget hotel in this area I can recommend this place.

Room was alright but towels and wash rags had stains on them. Used the towel but not the wash rag honestly it looked like it couldve been blood stains. Also shower didnt work properly and the hot water lasted for about 4 mins max had to take a luke warm shower. Fridge didnt get cold either. Stayed the next night at the el paso inn had twice as many towels that were all clean also a modern fridge and a flat screen much nicer stay for only a couple bucks more.

Joel was nice enough to walk me to my room & unlock it for me. The room itself is pretty retro. The AC worked well, considering it's the middle of summer in EP. I was able to get some much needed sleep with no disturbances. It's a quiet, cozy area & Joel was incredibly friendly.

Google
Good location, not too far from downtown. Clean room and very attentive staff. Manager/owner seems to really care about the motel. Only complaint is the air conditioner is pretty loud.

Yelp
If you need electrical outlets for a razor, blow dryer, flat iron, etc., there are none in the bathroom or anywhere near the mirror in the room. No coffee. No shampoo. If you're looking for a room with those basic amenities, you should go elsewhere.

Yelp
Probably the best room Ive stayed in, for a very very good price. The manager was very friendly. Their NON smoking rooms are NON smoking rooms, no scent of smoke anywhere. Thank you for the stay

Yelp
Absolute winner. Found this motel with yelp and reviews were spot on. Clean, safe, cheap, and old would be words I would use to describe this place. Its an old motel, but for 40 bucks, what do you expect. Understand, this isn't a swanky, overpriced hotel, this place is old school and they even had old school tube televisions... ha! No flat screens for you!!! but in the big picture, its very quiet, and very safe, and you can park your car right outside your door. I would totally stay here again, and will next time I come through El Paso. This place rules!

Yelp
My flight was cancelled and I was forced to wait 24+ hours for another one. It was 2 am and I was forced to decide if I wanted to pay $100 a night for the nearby hotels or spend some time sleeping at the airport. Luckily I found this motel at which I could pay two nights for the price of one. It's a 5 min drive from the airport and walking distance from a Big Lots, 7/11 and multiple restaurants. I dealt with three check in people and all were very nice and helpful. I started with a king size room then downgraded to a queen cuz why not save $5? Overall it was a great experience given that I had to miss work due to my cancelled flight.

Yelp
This is a pretty cool old joint. Yes, "Old" being the key word. However, it still has everything you need, i.e. internet, HBO, a toilet & a shower! What else do you need? Oh yes, it has a decent bed & the sheets were clean. It's the old school motel where you park right in front of your room & it's under cover as well. So very convenient! And at 45 bucks per night, what more could you want? If just passing through & you need a place to take a load off, this place won't let you down.

Yelp
I must begin this review by stating that for the price of this hotel - it is absolutely 5 stars. If you're looking for a room with frills, this is not for you. I needed a cheap hotel option for a quick rest in El Paso, before heading to New Mexico. The front desk was so pleasant, our flight landed at 1am and I let them know I'd be arriving late. The gentleman had turned the heat on for me, as it was in the 40's about and 1.5 prior to arrival. The hotel was extremely clean, I had a great sleep. Can't beat it for $50 bucks a night!!! Cons: the bathroom lacks toiletries such as shampoo and conditioner. However, I always travel with my own, so this is not an issue for me.

Yelp
If you are looking for a nice hotel: somewhere where you are tempted to lift extra bottles of their free shampoo off the maid cart because they are giving out such quality stuff, the Coral Motel isn't for you. If you like kitsch and need a cheap, safe, comfortable place to stay the Coral Motel is probably a good bet. There isn't much to the rooms, but they were relatively clean, and the beds (there were two in our room) were comfortable enough. The shower had good water pressure, though we noticed that both the tub and toilet were very low to the ground. Odd. Lots of kitschy, old details too: elaborate headboards, a dial on the door for maid service, nice neon sign outside. For one of the cheapest places to stay in El Paso, the Coral Motel is a good choice.

Yelp
Needed a place to sleep for half a night and this was the only inexpensive place that didn't have awful reviews. We were tired so we decided to just stay here but didn't expect much. It's a small, old school little motel, but it was clean and we felt safe. This place is perfect if you just need a place crash or are on a budget. I'll definitely stay here again if I'm passing through El Paso.

Yelp
Inexpensive | Good location for climbers $ If you're visiting El Paso to check out the Hueco Tanks Park, I recommend staying here. It's perfect for your budget. It's quiet, clean, a little dim, but we had no problems. The bathroom is a bit run down, but this place is decent. I recommend this place for any climbers that aren't camping in or near the climbing areas. Staying at this place is about 45 minutes away, near the airport, close to quick shops and good, cheap food, and you get a nice bed and a shower. Can't complain! We took 2 rooms because we went with our friends -- buddied up. We're looking to stay here every year in November for our annual bouldering trip :)

Yelp
If you prefer swanky hotels, don't waste your time. But if you're like me and love to save money while staying in comfortable cozy old school digs, this is one of those! The front desk guy was super polite and helpful. The rooms were old but very clean and had neat wooden plank/beam ceilings. I am sometimes a bit freaked out by that sort of homey detail but this was so clean I liked it! Their free wifi was a bit tricky, but worked (just didn't stay connected all that well). This place does lose one star for me though because of the wacked out bedding. They should really invest in actual king fitted sheets for the king rooms. Ours had what appeared to be a too-small flat sheet loosely tucked in, so of course it became a nightmare the second we started to get comfortable in the bed. Also, very flat pillows and even my husband who is never picky about pillows, had to use two (I brought in my extra from the car). The bed itself was great. I'd recommend this place though, definitely. It's like a Spanish style tiki hut. Cute. The bathrooms were nothing special but very clean. Air conditioning was quiet & cold. Our room had a functioning microwave and mini fridge as well as lots of extra seating (couch, chair & ottoman) which was not expected at this low price level, and it also seemed clean enough to actually use. Great for a hiking trip or as a stop on a longer road trip. Extra tip - Elmer's restaurant down the street is a good breakfast stop, affordable, opens early, and just as authentically old fashioned as Coral Motel.

Yelp
This is no frill motel but it's cheap ($50 a night plus tax), clean and safe. It is 60's and 70's nostalgia motor lodge. It even has a partial covered parking, an old school room door key and a large flat screen television. Rocky and his staff were awesome! Rocky's recommendations of El Paso eateries were wonderful. It has free WiFi and HBO. Hot coffee is ready every morning at the office. Please bring your own shampoo and conditioner since the motel only furnishes bars of soap. I always bring mine! Try it, you won't be disappointed!!!

Yelp
Clean, simple, cheap rate, retro, and my go to place on the road in this side of the world.

Yelp
I chose this motel because I wanted to be near the airport as I have an 0645 flight & I didn't want to have to deal with the traffic. And after reading many of the reviews on this place- most of them very good, praising the cleanliness. So basically I'm just going to agree with all of those others. The place is really old, like from the 50s or 60s & the old Route 6 days; but it is clean, the clerk was so nice & friendly. Since I had called & made a reservation & a guesstimate of my arrival time, he had the AC turned on. & then walked me to my room, unlocked the door, & said if I needed anything to just call. Another reviewer mentioned that the linen Dept should spring for some fitted sheets & im going to agree with her. The flat sheet they're using for the bottom sheet really isn't big enough to get tucked in properly so when you pull back the top sheet & bedspread to get in the bed, the bottom sheet gets pulled out too. With just me sleeping in it, it's not a problem because I barely even move during the night. If my husband was here these sheets would be completely pulled out, untucked, & maybe wadded into a ball. The only negative I can see is the dearth of electrical outlets. I ended up unplugging the microwave (since I had no need for it) so that I could plug in & charge all of my devices. Can anybody say Chevy Chase in National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation? That'll give you a mental picture of how the outlet look!! lol I will definitely stay here again any time I'm in El Paso to catch a plane. I recommend this place to all of you plain, down-to-Earth kind of people who value old things that are kept up with love. If you need or want "fancy" & a pool then look elsewhere.

Yelp
This place was great! Very inexpensive, clean, retro and cute. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Aside from the cat meowing outside ALL NIGHT (was it in heat?? Lost?? Hungry?? Trying to wake up its owner to be let in??), we really liked this place. But let's be real. The cat wasn't their fault. I truly have nothing ill to say about this place. We would definitely stay here again!

Yelp
Stayed for one night and it was a decent room for the price. However, I had trouble with the TV & eventually gave up. I decided to Netflix on my iPad and had some trouble with the WiFi connection. I was a little sketched out because I'm not familiar with the neighborhood but I didn't have any issues.

Yelp
If you need clean , but outdated , vintage motel - this place for you. A bit laud , in the morning , low clearance rain guards at front doors , so if you have tall truck , ask for height , or park in the middle of parking lot.

Debra V.

Yelp
The other reviews are spot on. This is a very clean but outdated place. However, everything is maintained and works great. My room had AC, fridge, microwave, great hot water and a TV. This is the place for you if you need cheap and otherwise perfectly satisfactory. Unfortunately, the desk service couldn't understand my request for a non-smoking room (not good enough English?), even though signs indicate that they offer smoking and non-smoking rooms. So, we febreezed everything and declined to turn the AC on which reeked of old cigarette smoke. The sheets were nice and clean albeit a little scratchy. We did not need extra blankets, even without the heater, in the middle of November. I would say this is a great little place if all you need to do is sleep. There are little to no other amenities.

Yelp
We were traveling and stayed at a different hotel in El Paso that my husband thought was fine but I found it to be kind of seedy. We found the Coral Motel in the lonely Planet guide and it had decent reviews on Yelp. This place was very clean, and very quiet. Staff was friendly. For a simple motel at a reasonable price, this was perfect and I would stay here again.

Alan P.

Yelp
Well, pricier than expected but very quiet and clean. Checking in and out was the easiest I've experienced, amenities not existent but honestly; perfect for what we needed. Location was central to everything we did, parking was dedicated for your room and getting in and out of the parking lot was graciously simple.

B F.

Yelp
Cool "vintage" motel in El Paso. Easy access to freeway, groovy rooms, free parking and internet.

Arash S.

Yelp
If you are looking to spend a night or even a few nights at an affordable, yet clean place this is it. The staff are extremely helpful. I stayed for one night on my way to California. I had a Uhaul with an auto-transporter. The guy who checked me in helped me park the truck and showed me my room. He even turned on ESPN for me. If I'm ever passing through or staying at El Paso for a short period, I'm definitely coming here.

Oscar A.

Yelp
After reading the reviews we stopped and checked in. Good idea for someone who is looking for a clean well kept affordable nights stay. Staff was courteous and amicable. Room was clean. Parking in front if each room has plenty of space. Staff said they shampoo the rugs every 2 weeks and we saw that two were getting done. Safe place to stay. Walking distance from good food as well.

John D.

Yelp
The googie sign and kitschy exterior are what attracted us at first. The room was decently clean, the bed was comfy, and the bathroom was a pink and mint tiled, mid-century dream! We were both a bit confused by the cinderblock wall divider near the back (similar to a changeroom), but it added a bit of mystery to the stay. Definitely worth the price!
