Wi-Fi didn’t work, the cafe took over an hour to deliver food. Ordered shawarma to room and paid $25 for a something that was awful - two small strips of chicken, four fries and two pickles! Air conditioning was none existant. Customer service didn’t exist. Cold showers only!! Food in the buffet - most of it was too risky to try. I stuck to chips and bread for the few days I was there. No one was interested in serving you. And the room keys / they never worked. It was as though they were ‘one time use only’ and then you needed to go back to the desk to get it recharged. I do not recommend this place - building is tired but the customer service is even more tired and non existant!

Damp dirty and no services at all. Room were damp and verging on the unhealthy. Windows were sealed shut and staff would not allow the windows to open. No cleaning took place in my room for a week, with no fresh towels or bedding |Toilet and shower were dirty with no hot water available. Requesting assistance was just ignored by the staff. Settling the bill depended on who served you to how much you paid. |No internet or entertainment in the rooms

Had issues checking in and the front desk was not helpful at all! Asked to speak to the manager but they were not available at the front desk. Arrived with old lady in a wheelchair, they wanted $300 USA for a room but then said helper did not have the correct papers…. So we were asked to leave. Imagine throwing out an old lady in a wheelchair!!! Unacceptable. We are in a war and travelled 9 hours and they gave us a room then as soon as disable mother was settled…. Told us we had to leave. No customer service, no empathy and refused to call the manager.

Was told it was the best hotel in town. Hotel was old and not properly maintained. Service was slow. Breakfast didn’t appeal and bringing coffee took the staff 30minutes. When we went back for lunch, breakfast table we sat at wasn’t even cleared. We had lunch there and until we left at 6pm, table was again not cleared and this was despite the hotel being quite empty. Common toilets were horrible and disgusting. We asked the receptionist to have someone clean it but it was not done. Unfortunately my impression of Port Sudan was casted cos of the hotel we stayed in.

We were assured airport pick up but no one turned up. When we asked, they did not know the flight timing. When we enter the lobby the cool air of very good air conditioning welcomes you. The staff are good but they lack resources and training. The room was very clean and pleasent. WIFI worked well. The sleep quality was excellent. The bathroom had all required items and hot and cold water was available and good. The carpets in the rooms are stained and very old. The breakfast is managable, but could have been certainly better. The telephones, room service, reception, or the operator are never answered, I could not get a bottle of driniking water on a chargable basis. At last I brought water from outside. The property is large and the land scaping could have been much better. Probably the economic situation has forced them to cut prices as well as service quality. Coral is still best in Port Sudan. I will still stay in this hotel next time. The whole city is walkable as such not much a problem.

‏This is the most insignificant hotel in the world. It is not worth the one hundred dollars paid for it in Sudanese dues!||‏ The case was worse two nights ago.||‏ I asked for a towel for three hours and when I stopped, there were no towels! I requested an iron but it is not available!||‏ I found a thousand rude people from the receptionist called Farid, who wears a suit bigger than him and does not master the Arabic language. He was cheeky and rude.||‏ I asked him for an email address to complain about the rejection||‏ I do not recommend it, bad services for services zero services, kitchen staff and stool seat heater picture attached||My name is Emad Sharfi , email imadbasher@hotmail.com

This hotel is tired and needs an urgent upgrade. Rooms are relatively clean but the constant damp smell and dirty carpets make the experience far from pleasant. As for the "food" and the restaurant facilities ~ well, the less said, the better. The description "pathetic" is probably being overly complimentary! The only upside is the staff, who were extremely welcoming and pleasant. All in all, a very below average experience, at a price.

Wi-Fi internet access is bad, rooms are mouldy, carpets and toilets have not had a proper clean ever. No hot water, poor water pressure from shower. It should be a 2 star hotel.
