Brilliant stay at this small hotel. |All rooms face the ocean. Balconies are big and spacious. No entertainment, but that’s how we liked it - it was nice and peaceful / quiet. Staff were fantastic. Claire and Nikita were lovely - sorted our drinks, breakfast and lunches out whenever we needed. You also get beach towels in your rooms! There’s no toiletries, so bring your own. But there is all the kitchen facilities you would need. |Would definitely stay here again. I’d say the only thing is that it would be nice if they provided loungers on the beach at no cost, as there was private ones for hire but with it being metres away- it would be nice if we had the option. But overall- loved it!!

Simple hotel with excellent views and direct beach access. The kitchen is lackluster but the fridge was nice to keep drinks cold. Air conditioning worked well. Kind and attentive staff. Best thing was the location! The beach right out front, Sandy beach, I found to be less windy and more calm/swimmable compared to Rockley, Worthing or St Lawrence beaches. Also walkable to convenience stores and lots of restaurants being situated halfway between Rockley and the Gap! I would definitely recommend and look forward to visiting again one day soon!!

This is a lovely, chilled hotel. We had a room on the third floor. The view of the sea is stunning. We could even spot the turtles swimming below the surface and coming up for air. We saw a really big one while snorkelling just offshore. There was quite a strong current at times though. Bars and restaurants are just a few minutes walk away. The rooms are big and the beds very comfortable. We had a problem with our air conditioning unit. It was fixed the day we reported it. The music from the next door hotel did not trouble us at all. It doesn’t go on late. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Very nice, small, quaint resort that is right on the beach. Check in was less than 5 minutes and the room was a very good size, including full size fridge, stove top and microwave, with a coffee pot (where do you find coffee filters on this island?). The only complaint was there were no bowls in the room! The bathroom and shower is gigantic with LOTS of room. The in-room safe was nice to leave valuables in while we were out and about. The pool was very nice with warm water, but be advised other guests will hog the lounge chairs, even though they're not supposed to leave personal property on them and go away for extended periods of time. There is access to the beach behind the property, but be advised the lounge chairs and umbrellas belong to Richard and he wants money to use them! 8-) This resort is in a fantastic location, with two convenience stores about 250 feet away, a dozen restaurants going in either direction on the main road, a full size grocery store less than half a mile away, two bus stops on the main road 300 feet +/- (going in either direction), and more! I would recommend this resort to anyone as I feel it was a very good choice for us!

Great small hotel right on Worthing Beach in Christchurch Barbados, with the Caribbean sea rolling in on the beach at the hotel's doorstep.||The good points....|Good sized clean rooms all with wonderful sea views. The rooms (and the entire hotel) are cleaned daily and are spotless. Rooms have a King size or 2 queen size beds, aircon, armchair, table, large walk in shower, full kitchenette with fridge, freezer, cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee machine etc. The hotel pool is smallish and is right in front of the hotel between the hotel building and the beach, The hotel has a security fence to prevent any beach vendors from strolling in. There are numerous sun-beds and chairs around the pool area and parasols to provide shade. There is a hotel bar that opens from midday to mid evening. There is a hotel restaurant, but I didn't use it, so cannot comment on it.||The hotel is situated just off the main road between the airport and Bridgetown, being 10 minuets to either from the Hotel. The hotel has free parking for approx. 10 cars. There are numerous bars and restaurants in the local area and the St Lawrence Gap (the strip) is only a 5 minute walk along the road.||The BAD point.|The ONLY bad point I could raise against this hotel is that the pool and sundeck area is not manned, and doesn't have any security guards. The signs do clearly state this, and normally this is not an issue in any hotel I have been to before. However at my time in this hotel there were a number of Canadian couples who were getting drunk at the poolside all day every day, and were drinking from Glasses and Glass bottles in and around the pool area. This is a hazard and should not normally be permitted in any hotel as broken glass can be dangerous for bathers in bare feet etc. These Canadian couples spent all day drinking and smoking in the pool. One lady actually spent 4 hours in the pool without ever leaving, despite her partner bring her MANY MANY MANY drinks throughout the day. SO this lady surely must have been relieving herself in the pool as surely she couldn't contain the amount of liquid she kept taking in. Her partner was also so drunk that he fell over a number of times and needed to climb on to a sun bed as he was incapable of getting off the floor by himself. I realise that this issue is not a hotel problem as it is drunken inconsiderate customers that caused it, however if the pool was manned and watched by staff, then this kind of behaviour wouldn't occur. Because of this, we rarely used the pool, and chose to use the sea instead. It is for this reason alone that I have dropped my rating from 5 to 4. Otherwise the hotel would have a 5 out of 5 for me.

The hotel is perfectly located, both beach wise and with access to restaurants (St.Lawrence Gap) and grocery stores. The check-in process is quick and friendly. The rooms are very spacious, clean and have beautiful views from large balconies. Kitchens are well appointed and there is the opportunity to purchase breakfast, lunch, and drinks on premise (nice gazebo bar area overlooking the water) at reasonable prices. The only improvement would be to add a few more pool lounge chairs. We truly enjoyed staying here and have rebooked for next year.

My husband and I just returned from our third time at the Coral Sands Resort. The last time we were there was the month before Covid took over - and we were just thrilled to see that Barbados and this hotel are as wonderful as we remembered. The people who work there are so so lovely and we were so happy to see familiar faces! We love this hotel because it is so mellow and you can walk to The Gap for any kind of food any time you like. No frills...just relaxation. Nikki at the Bar is amazing. We did see a couple of sea turtles there BUT I highly recommend that you walk down to the Southern Palms Resort and stand on their shoreline where you are almost guaranteed to see several turtles!! Also, Happy Days Cafe is across the street from there - this is a family owned restaurant which is so great for breakfast. The only negative I feel that should be addressed is that unfortunately a rather large hotel was built next to the Coral Sands - and they have very loud entertainment most nights until 11. If you choose to stay at Coral Sands, I would highly recommend that you request a room on the western side of the hotel - away from a bit of chaos in the building next door. Otherwise, this is a perfect place for relaxation.

Our stay at the Coral Sands was so enjoyable! Check in was a breeze. Our room was spacious and clean. We had a room on the second floor and the view was beautiful. Even thought the hotel was fully booked, it was quiet and uncrowded. On the days that we planned to stay on the beach we rented loungers from the man on the beach - not a big deal as some people have complained about. There were many loungers by the pool but we spent the majority of our time on the beautiful beach. It was one of the nicest beaches we have been on - quiet, clean, no shells or seaweed. We did an island tour one day and visited many popular beaches and still thought this was the best! There are many places to get lunch or dinner close by - a beach bar just past the Sands hotel, the Island Life food truck just in the lot in front of the hotel, the Seafood Shack a few min walk away. The St Lawrence Gap is a short 8 min walk with so many good restaurants for dinner. We visited Harrison's Cave Eco-Adventure park and it was well worth it! Another great adventure during our self guided island tour was the Animal Flower Cave. We stopped at Carlisle Bay and found it very very busy due to the cruise ships. We enjoyed a 5 hr catamaran tour with El Tigre - stopped and snorkled with the shipwrecks and turtles, and had a great lunch on a private beach. |This hotel made us feel like we were staying in a large mansion, not a hotel. Very warm and boutique-y. We definately will be back! Shout outs to the front desk staff Jerry (gave us so much help with getting to Oistins Fish Fry on Friday), Kenneth and to the entire housekeeping staff especially Ruth who was so helpful when we needed something extra!
