Perfect stay. We stayed one night before going out on the reef for 2 nights, and a night on return. The hotel stored our luggage while we were away. |The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, the shower was fantastic The laundry was very useful. Breakfast was great for the price. |Staff were polite and helpful. Helen on reception was particularly friendly and very helpful. She made our stay problem free. |We would definitely stay again if we returned to Cairns.

We booked 2 rooms in April '24 end for 2 nights.||Very good value for money hotel. Clean, spacious and good location. Breakfast is limited but a decent proposition given the cost. Pls try and provide a cooler for drinking water.|Finally want to call out the fantastic lady at the reception, T. Such a cheerful and enthusiastic disposition, makes you feel at home and always willing to help in whatever way she can. Coral tree, you have a real asset here. Pls take good care of her.

Amazing customer service. Everyone we spoke to here was absolutely lovely and very kind and helpful. Rooms were fairly basic but great for the price you're paying and they were very clean. We had a great stay!

The Coral Tree Inn in Cairns offers a comfortable stay with its convenient location and array of amenities. Guests can enjoy spacious and well-equipped rooms, complemented by friendly and accommodating staff. The hotel's outdoor pool provides a refreshing oasis for relaxation, while the on-site restaurant serves up delicious meals. However, some guests have noted that the property could benefit from updates to certain facilities and decor. Overall, the Coral Tree Inn presents a solid option for travelers seeking a mid-range accommodation in Cairns, combining value for money with a pleasant atmosphere.

I found the staff at Coral Tree very accommodating. I needed a towel for a boat trip and they provided. I needed a taxi very early, they made the reservation for me. My questions were promptly answered. The breakfast buffet is basic but no one will go hungry. I appreciated having a kettle in the room and a refrigerator. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was spacious. The pool is small, but adequate for a quick dip. The lobby has a selection of books for exchanging and available games. The only reservation I had was the noise in the hallway. One family had a screaming child in the hall at midnight. It is a tiled floor and the sound echoes. I cannot blame the hotel for the child, though. The price was good and the location very convenient to the aquarium. I would happily return.

We stayed 2 nights at the Coral Tree Inn and were very pleased with our experience. We got an unexpected upgrade for our room, they are really clean and the staff is super helpful and friendly. The breakfast is also very nice and you have a good variety of everything you could want. So I can't confirm the previous comments that have criticised the breakfast selection. We will definitely be back in the Coral Tree Inn on our next holidays.

We have sent our multiple groups there. The staff members are always helpful, accommodate our requests, and nothing is too much trouble for them. The location is fantastic, and the rooms are clean. They serve yummy breakfast with hot food options too. Thank you for your good job, team! We can rely on your warm hospitality.

Had a great time here in Cairns. Reasonable price for the hotel and great location, we could walk anywhere we needed to be. Got great guidance from the staff regarding snorkling and adventure-tours. The only minus was the breakfast. Very limited options and didn’t get us energized for the day. Mostly white bread and sugar.

Yelp
Coral Tree Inn was a delightful, quaint little spot to stay at! It wasn't too far from the central area. The staff was extremely friendly, and the room was clean and well stocked with kitchen accessories. Only a 10-15 minute walk from the Night Market (get a cheap massage there!) and good spots to eat (Dundee's and Ollie's were yummy).

Yelp
Reasonably priced. Close to everything. About a fifteen minute walk to the snorkel tour and night market. Very clean and large rooms. The pool was adorable. Would stay again!

Yelp
It was nice.. nothing great but a nice little place. All tile floor in the entire room. Very clean. Nice staff and very friendly. If you're booking here to save some money, this is the place but it's no frills. They do have little fridges in the rooms but no microwave. The microwave is in the lobby. The bad part about that is yes, you have walk to it but the lobby closes after 9:00 pm. So no hot food after 900 pm. Just remember, you get what ya pay for. But at least this place is very clean

Yelp
This little inn is situated a couple of blocks away from the front. Easy walking distance. The room is big. Clean with ameneties to make it pleasant. It was nice to have a room with fridge, kettle with tea and coffee available. Iron and ironingboard and a hairdryer is also available. It has a nice cosy pool to dip in, in an isolated courtyard. Breakfast facility is avaialble for an extra charge if needed. The room was cleaned every day. Definately adequate for the price paid for. If ever back in the area I would go back.

Yelp
Ugh, i'm NOT staying here again. It was okayyy since it's a budget inn and it was clean and comfortable "enough" but i had different expectations. Also, as soon as i booked online, i got an email saying no cancellations. I booked weeks ago, and it seems totally unreasonable to have a no cancellation policy. Most places do a 24h-72h cancellation policy before your visit. My friend and i stayed here partially because of the free wifi deal, for two devices which was enough. What they didn't tell us is that it was only for 1500mb for 5 days! Not only that, the voucher thing they gave us expired twice(!!) before our visit ended so we had to ask for new ones which they were hesitant to give. And it kept cutting out when we were able to finally use it. Such a pain! The pool was nice in pics. It looked kinda dirty and it was small and cold. The whole time i was here i never saw anyone using it. I guess the lagoon is close enough if you want somewhere nice to tan and/or cool down. Housekeeping was inconsistent. Sometimes we returned and there was no towel to use on the floor bathroom, which makes the wet tiled floor slippery to walk on. We could hear a lot of noise upstairs from the other people staying. I guess it's an old building since you can hear *everything* plumbing related. The showers from other rooms was especially loud. There's a luggage room to keep your stuff in if you want to leave your bags while you go around town and you aren't checked in yet (or if you're already checked out), but you put the bag in there yourself (not the staff!) and the room is unlocked, so I was nervous about leaving my stuff there. Overall, I guess it was all right for 1-2 nights maybe, but I wouldn't stay there again when there are so many other accommodation options
