Coral View Island Resort

I recently stayed at Coral View Island Resort and had an overall fantastic experience. The location is absolutely breathtaking – the resort is nestled right on a beautiful stretch of beach, offering stunning views of the crystal-clear waters. It's the perfect spot for relaxation and soaking in nature's beauty. The staff were friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with a smile. The food served at the resort, although a bit on the pricey side, comes in generous portions, which we really appreciated. It definitely helps balance the cost. However, while the charm of the resort remains, some of the facilities have become a bit dated and could benefit from an upgrade. A little refresh would make the stay even more enjoyable. One thing worth mentioning is the cleanliness of the beach directly in front of the resort. While we understand that floating trash is a common issue on many beaches, more regular cleaning would improve the experience. The beach itself is gorgeous, and with more attention to clearing the trash, it would be even more inviting. Despite these minor points, we had a wonderful time and would definitely return for the unbeatable location and the warm hospitality

When we first book the accommodation they were very helpful, as we reached the resort the receptionist were absolutely horrible during the day time. Our room the air condition was leaking, we told the guy receptionist, he barely even look us in the eye to acknowledge our feedback. Western Food here were horrible, seafood were not fresh. Breakfast was okay, lunch and dinner was on coupon basis and it wasn’t mentioned earlier in the agreement, is so troublesome that you have to calculate what you eat. Overall the we didn’t have a good experience staying here, and for sure we won’t be coming back to this resort ever again~

The rooms were really beautiful and they even put flowers on our beds. The staff was friendly and we enjoyed the food (sometimes we would have liked to have some more but we are active young people, so maybe this is the reason for it). We also enjoyed the acitvities there: snorkelling and seeing beautiful corals, kayaking, the sunset hike and the trip to the cave (our guide was fantastic).

Absolutely enjoyed the stay. rooms were great - we took the family suite which faced the sea and had 2 "private" pools (more like super big jacuzzi tubs). Food was good. Only part that brought the rating down was the lack of communication and explanation of where to go, what to look out for when arriving at the jetty. called the mainland office several times, for it to go unanswered. called the resort 3x and got hing up on twice (giving the benefit of the doubt that the line wasnt too great) Staff manning the reception upon our arrival didnt look too happy to be sitting behind the counter. A man of VERY few words. Wait staff however, were excellent. Attentive and helpful. Overall, great experience. However, the 8-hour drive from KL reminded me why I do not go to the Perhentians as much.

Satisfied with the stay. The room was spacious, my kid was really happy with the pool inside the room. The premium seaview with pool room is really awesome. Will definitely come back again

the location is obviously amazing, everything else can be immensely improved. we had the misfortune of spending a couple of days in the basic room and wow they do take the word basic seriously - everything is falling apart, we had a small cockroach and the whole thing seems designed to be as ugly and depressing as possible. (after we moved to the luxury garden room and that was definitely decent). The restaurant is just not good and inefficiently served by overworked waiters, and rats are scurrying around (saw 2 out of 2 occasions). Avoid basic rooms and eat elsewhere and you will probably have a good time.

Im family with 3 kids, Coral View gives us the best island holiday that we can get for as we stay in Family Suite Sea View....2 private pool in front of room with sea view with swing and bench..its really amazing and my kids loves it throughout our stay... Food serves in restaurant is really amazing with competitive prices for tourist spot area.... All staff is very kindful, helps us if we need anything they can help with. Really recommended for those to come and holiday in here.... In summary, we definetly come in here back but with the aim to try the Premium Sea View Room with private pool... Keep it up CVIR, see you later when we see you... :)

The resort had some nice pool room and also a water theme park for kids. The restaurant is a good option for tourists that stay at PIR or Barat. Nice coffee option but food is average and too sour as there like lemon. Prawn not too fresh also. There are also no direct baggage route to the resort as the jetty is tight to Barat. So anyone with big baggage might required to take themself to the resort. Resort had some nice and beautiful view for meditation. Check out their nice view at the corner of the resort facing PIR. Downside is the baggage transfer.
