"Deep dive without getting wet at this spectacular marine park. The enormous aquarium is home to living coral reef tanks teeming with colorful fish and sea life. Outdoor attractions include a pool of stingrays, another fullof turtles and another full of baby sharks, which can also be viewed from below through the tank's glass bottom. There's also a touch poolwith baby lobster and hermit crabs."

*An Unforgettable Experience with Nola and Jasmine at Coral World Ocean Park** Visiting Coral World Ocean Park was an absolute dream come true! My husband and I had the incredible opportunity to swim with the dolphins, and it was an experience we'll cherish forever. Our trainer, Jasmine, was exceptionally knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the well-being of the dolphins. She guided us with care and made us feel at ease throughout the experience. The highlight of our visit was swimming with Nola, the beautiful and friendly dolphin. Interacting with Nola was magical—she was so playful and seemed to enjoy our company as much as we enjoyed hers. It was heartwarming to see the bond between Jasmine and Nola, and it made the experience even more special. We can't thank the team at Coral World enough for creating such a memorable and educational experience. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for an extraordinary adventure!

Coral World Ocean Park was one of the best things on island to do. They have a lot of Wildlife there to see and it was a good time! You can also do swimming with the dolphins which look like it was a lot of fun. I would definitely recommend coming to Coral world if you're in the area

We swam with Dolphins at Coral World Ocean Park and OMG it was the most amazing thing ever! They were like water dogs - they just wanted to play and they were so friendly and it was not at all scary! We got a good 60-90 mins in the water with two dolphins and I couldn’t recommend this enough! The staff was amazing, specifically Jazmin!

Tickets include parking and beach. Two under water walk in aquarium style observatories and of them one is of the open ocean the other a walled off aquarium. Seen ONE dolphin with the kayakers. Iguanas and birds are free and really just chilling. Extra experiences like sea lion, dolphins and sharks will cost up to $200, I think some underwater activities were more. Coki beach is beautiful. This place is definitely old, and could use some more activities. However surviving 3Cat 5 hurricanes and being out here in VI it is a gem.

Always a good visit. Be sure to swim with the Dolphins or Sea Lions! The bird feeding is an excellent thing especially for younger kids.

The day we chose to visit Coral World was a day we could add the experience of kayaking with dolphins. We purchased tickets online weeks in advance. 3-4 days before our visit, we received an email explaining that the park was going to be closed on the day we had purchased the tickets for, and they were sorry for the oversight. We wanted to reschedule our day and tried calling for two days but couldn't get a person on the phone, just a recording. We emailed back and forth trying to reschedule so we didn't miss out on this experience. In the end, we visited Coral World, but we were not able to kayak with the dolphins. That was very disappointing. The aquarium is smaller, and some of the enclosures seemed inadequate for the animals (especially the sea turtles). Iguanas and hermit crabs roam about freely. There was enough to do to keep busy for a few hours. The facility is nice and well kept, and it has a beautiful view 😍 My favorite part was feeding the Lorikeets. I highly recommend purchasing a pomegranate smoothie!

Google
Well we were definitely disappointed with the overall experience for the cost. It's a nice place with great views but could do better. For starters the swim with dolphins you spend more time getting ready and waiting around over spending time with your ONE dolphin for your group, you maybe(if generous) get 3-5 minutes with the actual dolphin and the whole in water experience is done in 20-25 minutes for almost $200 a person!! Then we were told wait 15 minutes for our photos, we waited 30 they said come back after an hour or so, so we explore the rest of the park and come back and guy goes oh I thought you left, only to then tell us to wait another 15 minutes and that normally our pictures would cost $450!!! But he's "cutting us a deal" only to reveal the reason he was cutting us a deal is they had lost over half our photos he said, well when he said that everyone was pretty upset and so we basically said unless he can make it worth our while it's not worth buying, so he brought the price down to $120. They have a shark exhibit no signs anywhere nothing and no one around and I'm loudly saying can we touch these, as everything else was marked do not touch or can touch. Well after waiting 10 minutes and staff at the bar or whatever staring at us and not giving an answer everyone touched a shark once and called it when the last person went to touch some lady from bar area yells at her don't touch them, failure on the staff here. The macaw walk in is cool and the young lady inside said she'd came from California was very sweet, answered all of the questions from kids and adults and made the experience better, as well as the behind the scene sea lion exhibit. The under water building was the best thing. They have big turtles is super tiny ponds we felt so bad for them.

Google
The Resort we were staying at gave 20% off, still the lesser cost was not worth going to. The water views are out of this world, beautiful location. The experience itself did not meet my expectation 😕, there wasn't much to see at all. We were considering doing the Dolphin Encounter for 45 minutes, but in actuality 30 minutes is actually orientation and 10-15 minis dolphin time, not worth the price to listen to someone for 1/2 an hour. We did see the dolphin from a distance thanks to zoom on my camera. The refreshments were great, we ordered a Mango Smoothie, 9 out of 10.

Yelp
My husband and I did the Sea Lion Encounter during a brief stop on St Thomas during a cruise, and we had one of the best experiences ever! We want to thank the trainers Ashley, Amy, and Heather for creating such a unique event for us. I've never seen a Sea Lion Encounter event before. I've done the dolphin encounter, and while I enjoyed it, dolphins don't have as much of an obvious personality as sea lions. We were amazed at how engaging and intelligent these giants are. While Coral World is small, it is mighty! Being in a privately owned sanctuary like this was SO much more intimate and engaging than a large corporate-run park. We loved this experience, and would definitely recommend to our friends & family!

Yelp
When taken with the joining public beach, Coral World is a fun full day excursion when visiting St Thomas. Built in 1978 the park is showing her age and is need of a little TLC. For the cost of $29 adult entrance fee you get to stroll around and see many forms of wildlife and sea creatures. There are exhibits and talks every 30-60 minutes that will educate you and give you insight to the important mission they have here in rescuing sharks and turtles and dolphins. When it comes to the extras and encounters, be prepared to shell out some serious coin. $182 for Sea Lion Swim and $65 for shark swim experience. Bring a family of four and you're getting into theme park numbers. Food just outside the gate was expensive and not very good. My wife's chicken Caesar salad was raw and my daughter's hot dog was just ok. We broke up our visit to the park with a nice swim and snorkel at the beach next door. Having that to balance the always expensive taxi rides on the island- the park with the beach as an aside, makes for a nice full day.

Yelp
Sidney, Shayene & Ashley in the sea lion were amazing. It was so much fun to swim with Remo. I just loved him! They were so patient as my girls warmed up to the idea of swimming with a huge animal. One of my girls finally warmed up to the idea & got in. The other did not & they let her be a "trainer" & do a trick with him from the side of the pool. The photographs turned out great. Treasures for sure. This has been the highlight of our trip so far. Fred is HUGE & it was fun to see him show off his training. He was very photogenic in our family portrait. The only feedback I have is that it would've been nice to be on the step with Remo in the pool before jumping in, or doing it in reverse order, just so my girls could warm up to it a little before literally being in the deep end lol. Ainsley & Ping were so much fun! Ainsley was super informative & a great educator. Took some conservation ideas away what she shared that we can use at home. The feedback I would have for the dolphins is to use the same photo setup as the sea lions. I couldn't figure out how to download them on my phone. I'm hoping it'll be easier on my laptop once I'm home. Overall we were very lucky with timing. We got to see all the feedings & animal presentations before our first encounter. Then had a quick lunch & onto our last encounter to close out the day at the park. I feel like we 100% took advantage of all that they had to offer. We would absolutely return again on our next trip. Thank you for letting us share some time with you & your amazing animals ambassadors. Family memories were made that will be cherished for a lifetime.

Yelp
We called, made reservations, gave code we received from the resort we were staying at, then we were told the coupon wasn't valid for our two kids dolphin splash, ended being charged $384 n change for 3 dolphin splash experience and 2 adult, 2 kid admission experiences. I check in, the lady tells me I get a credit of $69. Why a credit?? Because you overcharged me to begin with? Now you tell me I couldn't get a refund for your over charge and I have to use it while I'm in there? Sounds like a scheme to over charge people and force them to use the money there. The dolphin splash experience leaves less to desire. Barely any interaction for the price they charge. I would not recommend. I would also not recommend the actual swim the dolphin experience. I was watching this one and what I saw is people in the water, getting to watch thr trainer interact with the dolphin while having a closert encounter with the dolphin but that was about it. Save your money.

Yelp
Coral world was pretty fun and educational. I loved seeing the different sea animals. Sharks were my favorite. They also have turtles , parrots and a lot of iguanas . Sorry I couldn't put the rest of pics up. Yelp only allow ten photos. The food hut food was very good and they also serve frozen alcoholic drinks . Staff was very friendly and nice .

Yelp
Date of visit: May 21, 2023 We were visiting Coral World as part of our Sea Trek experience, an excursion during our Disney Cruise. The park is not very big, despite the map of the park making it appear as though there is a lot to do and see so don't expect to spend an entire day here. The Sea Trek experience was pretty cool; we had seen it on other trips in the past but had never taken advantage of it ourselves. While the three-sided glass helmet is a bit disorienting at times, we did enjoy the experience quite a bit. Our guides were fun and informative and really seemed to enjoy what they were doing. Most of the staff was great, including the young lady in the parrot garden who had clearly made connections with some of the birds. The staff at the food stand, however, could go elsewhere. Our friend saw her cooking something that smelled good and she tried to ignore him before admitting that it was something for a co-worker and was not on the menu. Who does that? If you're doing an excursion here, definitely take advantage of your time to walk around and see the iguanas, dolphins, and turtles, but don't just come to see the park as you'll be disappointed.

Yelp
This was a fun way to spend our afternoon when going to Coki Beach. It's definitely a smaller park that you can see within 1-2 hours, but it provides a great time. We loved going on the little nature walk, seeing the turtles, and going into the underwater viewing area to see all the fish swimming in the ocean. They also have a little snack bar called the Shark Bar that makes pretty decent food and drink. I definitely wouldn't expect this park to be an all-day plan, but more of a way to spend part of your day. Highly recommend doing the snuba activity while here. I was pleasantly surprised by how affordable it was, and it includes your admission to Coral World. I had never done snuba before so was a little nervous at what to expect, but our guide was absolutely wonderful. He spent plenty of time preparing us, and we got to spend about 30 minutes exploring the bottom of the ocean - see all the different plant and fish wildlife. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip, and I would totally recommend adding it on if you plan to go to Coral World. They also take pictures and video of you while you're underwater, and they were only $25/person to purchase (a great deal for an experience like this!). Worth a stop while in the Coki Beach area.

Yelp
Michelle is the attendant that helped us get ready to go under water! Super sweet Chicago native who became a local to this amazing island. The rest of the team is equally amazing. Eve, Noora and Wyatt were super nice under that water and out. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to get an event in during their day. Great divers.

Yelp
We pet the dolphins with Meg at the dolphin experience with a 2 and 5 year old and it was a great time, the kids loved it. Meg and the other staff were helpful and entertaining, it's pretty easy to see when kids are having a really good time. I would recommend. Also, we overpaid due to the fact that experiences include admission, the wonderful woman at the ticket counter pointed this out to us(we bought our tickets online) and gave us a coupon for the difference which we used to buy lunch, so great experience on every level.

Yelp
I enjoyed my visit here! The exhibits are mainly outdoors, so you can enjoy the sunshine while visiting the animals. All staff was friendly and encouraged attendance to their sessions where we learned more about sea turtles, saw a sea lion and dolphins, and fed some lorikeets. There are wild iguanas everywhere at the park, but they seemed to keep to themselves. I loved the underwater observatory and seeing everything under the waters edge. Well maintained park and fairly quiet when we went. They offered lots of interactive experiences as well! General admission was fairly priced and parking was included. A fun visit, especially for families.

Yelp
I had an amazing experience with swimming with the dolphins. I would recommend doing it. The trainers were sweet and shared a lot of information about the dolphins. Our group swam with ping. Oldest dolphin there so far. She is the sweetest.

Yelp
Nice small eco-park to spend a couple of hours. Founded as a way to rehabilitate injured sea life, it is a nice park filled with aquariums, lagoons and aviaries. Check the schedule to learn more about the sea life, birds and reptiles that live in the park The Undersea Observatory Tower is unique in the Caribbean. Walk down the boardwalk and then descend 15 feet below the water's surface to get a look at fish and coral in nature's aquarium. Where's Kevin? Visit Kevin the Pufferfish and his friends at the Caribbean Reef Encounter. Come at feeding times to see a diver feed the fish, stingrays and other creatures that live in an 80,000 gallon coral reef aquarium. Look for a wide variety of local corals, sponges, lobsters, conchs, and colorful fish. The Shark Shallows and Stingray Lagoon are small pools filled with sharks and stingrays. Book a shark encounter to swim with and learn more about sharks. Come at to the Turtle Pool at feeding time to learn more about the rescued green sea turtle hatchlings that now live there permanently. Coral World is a rehabilitation center for sick and injured turtles. It was interesting to visit the rainbow lorikeets in the aviary. They were being trained to go into little cages to prepare for hurricane season. (They did not want to cooperate with their hurricane preparedness training, though). The Bahama Ducks were so cute. And there were iguanas, iguanas and more iguanas everywhere. We have passed by Coral World so many times on trips to Coki Beach. It is a nice place to stop for a few hours. Admission is just $23.50. There are ad-ons like swim with the sea lions or dolphins, kayaking or sea trek. Check the website for more options.

Yelp
If u love animals I wouldn't recommend going to this park. It's very sad on the animals and the way they live life being used to profit and still living in captivity in terrible conditions. Run down park where animals are forced to do tricks to attract tourist with deep pockets to overpay for some mediocre hour activity. Workers also mentioned using sea lions and dolphins for "research" once they get a research permit- means they can do anything to the animal even if it's cruel for "research" . We were also told they keep the sharks for 20 years in captivity and when older release them into the wild- an animal thats been fed & never forced to hunt into the ocean.

Yelp
I had 4 really crushed kids thanks to Coral World. I booked the Dolphin Splash & Swim months in advance of our cruise that stopped in St. Thomas. We took a cab ride ($84 + tip) and upon arrival, they informed us that there was a problem with their system, and while they showed that we paid, they did not actually reserve our space for the dolphin experience. They were completely booked up for the day. So, after talking it up to our kids for months, we were turned away, had to pay another $84 + tip to return to the cruise terminal, and had burned half of our day in St. Thomas. If you purchase anything online, buyer beware of their "system".

Paige D.

Yelp
The snuba guide was amazing they get 5 stars! I hate to write a bad review unless it comes to totally warranted but the rude counter girl in the gift shop where you go for your photos needs to be fired. She never told us we had to pay for photos, she gave us a form and said they get emailed to us. She acted as if she was bothered by customers wanting to shop and pay. She made it clear we were all an inconvenience to her and was interrupting her standing around staring off into space. When I questioned when we get them she was nasty and said you can't get the photos because you never paid. Then when I tried to pay she had me standing around waiting because she neglected to tell me that her computer was down and then insisted they only way I would get photos is if I could only pay cash. She was beyond rude to us and everyone else in that shop. She shouldn't work in customer service if it's such an inconvenience to her.

Yelp
This is a neat attraction in St. Thomas. We booked it through the Disney cruise itself, which included transportation to and from the park. Overall, it was a pretty neat place. Now... I'm not going to say it's perfect. It could use a coat of paint here and there, some new nails perhaps, maybe a little TLC overall. But, all that being said, the animal exhibits were still well worth it. We saw sharks, rays, fish of all kinds, macaws, and even iguanas right out in the open! In fact, they have a sign up discouraging guests from interacting with them as they will "hug" you. LOL, um, yeah! Hug! They were right up close around the dining area, though, which tells me guests aren't above feeding them. But, if you don't bug them, they won't bug you. All said, it was a neat place with a lot of learning exhibits and some interesting architecture. I'd probably go back if given the opportunity. The observation deck is really cool, and the underwater portion is really fascinating. I wish we had more time to try some of the encounters that didn't come with the base entry price. Perhaps another time... P.S. Props to the guide who gave me a fist bump underwater while we were in the observation area and she was leading a tour around. Like, through the window! Fist bump right back atcha!

Laura C.

Yelp
My family of 5 ( including 3 kids ages 12/10/7) loved the dolphin experience and exploring the park! They fed parrots up close, learned about sea lions, and explored the underwater observatory. The animal trainers are very knowledgeable, and clearly have a love for their work. Would definitely return.

Big J.

Yelp
Outstanding. Well managed, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and great exhibits. The kayak dolphin experience is great value since it includes the price of admission. Having a dolphin swim 2 feet away from you was a blast! Highly recommend, especially for families.

Michelle A.

Yelp
we loved this we got to see all sorts of sea creatures and learn about them. we did the swim with dolphin and it was great. we learned hand signals that the trainer uses. we touched and played ball with the dolphin and even got a kiss. You only had to do what you were comfortable with no issue as a few just touched the dolphin and stayed on platform.

Yelp
My daughter and I did the dolphin swim and sea Lion encounters. They were the best encounters!! Everyone gets one on one time with the animals, their own pictures and the trainers tell you all about the animal's history, how they learn things and their cues. It was a great experience that my daughter and I did not want to end, especially the dolphin swim. And the pictures turned out so awesome!! Highly recommend! I also recommend going into the larakeet cage and feeding them. They're beautiful and might land on you!

Yelp
JUST FYI...The Splash and SWIM is not a swim with the dolphin experience. We gifted this experience to our kids for Christmas. We talked this up and showed them videos of what to expect, and this was the thing they were most excited about on Christmas Eve. We left completely disappointed after our experience with my son bawling. He was so excited to get pushed by a dolphin and was devastated he didn't get to. The website clearly states that this is a SPLASH AND "SWIM" experience. It even states that you get to "SWIM" with the dolphins in the description. VERY MISLEADING! What a waste of over $1,000 including the transportation and pictures. Wish we had booked a different excursion and not wasted our day and money here! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE TO "SWIM" WITH THE DOLPHINS!!

Yelp
i really liked coral world alot. i saw 2 massive turtles which was awesome to witness. the dolphin exhibit was great, saw some lemon sharks too. i did snuba. it was good, i wanted to scuba dive and got the chance to do it. our guide was kent (sorry if im wrong with the name), but he was very good n cautious, he looked out for you. definitely a great way to spend the morning/afternoon

Stacey S.

Yelp
Went to Coral World on 2/10/24. The animals talks about the dolphins, turtles, sea lions, and sharks were great and very informative! The staff were all super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. My sister and I did the kayaking with dolphins experience. The experience itself was great! It was very fun to be kayaking and to have the dolphins swimming around us. The only negative was the pictures, we were not in any pics where others were not in front of us in the picture, and we could not edit them out.

Tracy B.

Yelp
Nice way to explore the ocean without getting wet. We were pleased to be able to see large sea turtles up close. If you want to splurge you can get in the water with the dolphins. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable.

Yelp
First off, this is definitely not a whole day activity. We taxied out here to the east end of the island and were catching the ferry to St. John later that day anyways, so it was good for us. We had checked out of our hotel and they do offer to store your luggage for you for $5. There are presentations every hour throughout the whole place, which is not that big. They are short presentations, which was great for us with short attention spans, but not if you want great detail. Of course the employees are always available afterwards for questions. My favorite one was the reef feeding and the sea lion behind the scenes. When we went, it was not crowded at all. We did pre-book a swim with the dolphins experience and despite the high price and other reviews on here, I would say it was worth it. Considering you can't do this on the mainland, this is a rare opportunity and I felt like it was enough time and sharing of the dolphin with the other parties in our session. The one thing I would change is the picture package needs to be better priced, or none at all for what you pay. All of the staff we dealt with were great. The food options onsite are not great and the menu has all the wrong prices. That said, I would still recommend this place for a half day visit.

Jon T.

Yelp
We had such a great experience and learned so much! The trainers and staff were wonderful and cared so much about the animals. We wandered through the Dolphin Adventure and one of the trainers took time out of her schedule to talk with us and answer questions. We had an amazing time swimming with the sea lions and our team of Ansley, Mel and Rachel were fantastic! It was a once in a lifetime opportunity made better by the people. Ansley taught us so much about sea lions and really cares about them and their survival. Lindsey was our other great partner during the experience and she was lovely! She was such a great person to help us out and give us so much information about the park and the island.

Yelp
Coral World is a one stop shop for many activities geared towards tourists. But it doesn't mean in a bad way. You can do plenty of activities like snuba, snorkeling, play with dolphins, Seawalk, feed the Lorikeets, swim with baby sharks, watch iguanas, see underwater world. The prices for the activities aren't bad, Though I didn't have much time to do the activities. I wanted to do snuba but it was already a little late by the time I went there. So I instead opted to spend my time going around the park and do my own snorkeling near Coki beach after the park(closes at 4pm). Don't forget to go to Coki Beach when you go to Coral world. The Coral World staff were really really nice and they explained so many things about the animals and birds. I was able to feed honey to the birds and get to learn a lot him about them. Overall this is a good place to go once if you're in the area or if you want to do any sea activities. Many hotels give discount codes (around $3) for Coral world. So check with your hotel if that's an option.

Yelp
The park offers gorgeous views of Saint Thomas but seem to be light on actual marine life. We did see turtles and dolphins and did the sea lion swim (the best) with Omar and Remo (amazing). The swim was the highlight of the park. The nature walk was very small, the shows only consisted of guests interacting with the animals and not an actual show with just the trainers and animals. Talking with some of the employees there is an internship for marine biologists there with research on the animals that seemed more extensive than anything else. We also visited Coki beach next door which was very small and busy. I think if we did more excursions Snuba and the Scuba Trek we would of had more fun. But the general admission to walk around and just visit was not worth the price of the ticket.

Yelp
We choose the swim, splash and play 20 minutes with the dolphins. There were 5 of us and another group of three. There was only one dolphin and the guide was more interested in getting good pictures for the $189.00 (I think) package of pictures you are asked to buy at the end than anyone swimming with our one dolphin we all had to share between 8 people. You stand on the side for about 10 minutes and get in the water for about 10 minutes but you are definitely not swimming you are rubbing the dolphin a few times. The guide threw out one ball and that was it for the games. We all did a few tricks and that was fun. It's a nice place to visit and see the dolphins but for the cost, it doesn't matter if you are standing on the side for 12 minutes which is a whole lot less expensive or in the water. Our guide was good, she is going to do what the park tells her to do and I understand that completely. The park is nice and has lots of fish to see. Go pet the dolphins for 12 minutes, look around, spend a couple of hours and enjoy.

Brent L.

Yelp
Swimming with the dolphins was everything we'd hoped it would be. The park, along with the underwater observatory, was also incredible. We enjoyed every aspect of our day. We also saw a sea lion and that was impressive.

Yelp
Came here to do the Sea Trek experience. The Sea Trek experience is putting on a breathing helmet that weighs approx. 75lbs, walk down in the water and see fish and other sea life. the helmet was difficult to breath in, heavy as hell and the whole experience was lacking as we didn't see a lot of different fish. Then the pressure in the helmet gave me a huge headache for the rest of the day so we couldn't experience the other parts of the facility. The workers were great tho. Will definitely not try that again.

Yelp
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Do not waste your money.. this is barely an aquarium. There are a few cool things but not worth the price they make you pay. We tried to book an excursion online because it said it was available but it wouldn't let us pay for it. When we arrived to the park we asked them to book it then and they told us it was unavailable even though online it said it was. People in the front were really unprofessional and rude. They split up our party and didn't suggest anything we could do as a family. The waivers signed are pretty sketchy too. You have to sign them before ur "excursion" but they don't even make sure you're signing them or anything. They pretty just let me walk away after I said I did it. Anyways, the only thing "available" was swimming with the sharks. Come to find out it's only the small pond in the front. None of the sharks came out and it was pretty much lame. I would never come back to this place. Total waste of money. However, the beach that's connected to it had amazing water and there is a little food place that serves some pretty good drinks. It's just a short walkway from the entrance.

Yelp
Coral World is a great spot if you're looking for a little change from soaking up sun at the beaches. We did the sea lion swim with Gabby and it was incredible! I never thought I would be able to interact so closely with these beautiful animals. Gabby was very informative and you can tell the entire staff truly love working with the marine life. Since general admission is included with the sea lion swim, we walked the park after. It's a great park with plenty of exhibits. We ended with the gift shop and then spent the rest of the day at Coki Beach (right next to Coral World).

Yelp
I did the splash and swim with the dolphins and it was amazing!! It was on my bucket list, and couldn't be happier! I do wish there was a bit more time, for the price. But overall I'm extremely satisfied with my experience! Also, I think we should be able to buy just a few pictures. I had to spend $50, which was fine. But those are my 2 "complaints." I would definitely do it again, and pass on the photos!

Yelp
Didn't really explore the aquarium, my fiancé and I went for snuba. And it was definitely worth every dime! We first had a reservation for seatrek but Tripadvisor canceled our plans and what a blessing in disguise that was. We had Glen as our tour guide underneath the water and made our experience memorable! If you get Glen expect a great time! Keep in mind this is the closest thing to scuba diving besides having the tank on your back you are attached to a 20 foot oxygen line, so if you feel uneasy or get panic attacks, maybe look into seatrek but if you do enjoy the freedom, you can get with snuba! Definitely going back on our next cruise! FYI. You are allowed to bring your phones in waterproof cases to record, but glen did advice us once your underneath the water you'll have trouble taking photos and recording. Which we did, we couldn't get our phones to work so it's just a extra load we had to carry around. The tour guide brings a GoPro which they record and take photos of you which is available for purchase in the gift shop. Also they do have a big storage container where you could put your belongings which is locked with a key and the tour guide Carries the key with them even underneath the water so your stuff is safe in there. ( you don't need to buy a locker)

Yelp
We took our two girls here for a swim With the sea lions encounter. Was disappointed that we could not go watch but understood. Very disappointed when the staff could not find any of the photos they took. Paid a lot for this encounter to not have any pictures. Staff was knowledgeable and I gave this a three star because of the one staff who was feeding the sting rays was so knowledgeable and answered so many questions we had while waiting for the kids to get done.

Yelp
One of the best things I have ever done! The workers love their job and you can tell. They educate you not only on the dolphins but on Coral World's values, ways to help the environment, and why they do what they do. My husband and I got to visit with Liko and he has such a personality, we had so much fun and next time we are in St. Thomas we will be doing this again.

Yelp
The idea of this place was cool. We were on a cruise and booked an excursion that included swimming with a sea lion. Nothing but awesome there. The problem was trying to get the photos we paid 80 bucks for. After two weeks we finally got the link. But after trying to download them, they cut off access. There were 64 pics and I only got 40.

Yelp
We had the Snuba experience with our tour guide Michelle, worth it. We had a blast and we totally recommend it!...

Yelp
My brother and I did the sea lion swim back in March which was an amazing experience. The only reason I'm giving them 2 stars is because I have reached out multiple times to get our pictures that they took (as you cannot take your camera in) and a manager reached out once and told me who to reach, but after leaving multiple messages via email, phone and Facebook messenger, I gave up. There system would not download the pictures quickly enough in order to give to us, and as we were with a cruise group we didn't want to hold each other up. The cruise line reached out to them for me once but to no ado. Be forewarned!

Yelp
The biggest thing we came for was the dolphin swim. The trainer tried but the dolphin just didn't want to interact. There really wasn't much experience to it other than hopping in the water and seeing the dolphin swim past. The trainer tried to get the dolphin to do tricks but just couldn't get it to do hardly any. She even called for another dolphin to try and get it to interact and didn't have any luck. Very disappointing experience and waste of money. The underwater viewing of the fish habitat was neat. That's really about it.

Yelp
It was great, only wish our time was a bit longer. I think they were concerned with the dolphin being skittish around me because I was pregnant. Which I understand if that's why it was cut a tad short

Yelp
I booked the dolphin trek & it was the worst experience. DO NOT DO THE DOLPHIN TREK. We were brought down w/ the helmets the water was super muggy and you could barely see anything so we didn't even get to see the dolphin just a couple of fish we were also instructed to not touch the dolphin at all. I went with 4 ppl and we spent close to $600 all together and it wasn't worth it at all. I thought we would get to see a bunch of dolphins living in their natural habitat but it wasn't at all their enclosed and some of them in some really small spaces near a dock

Yelp
September 14, 2021 This is a must do! There is plenty of parking. All the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. There is so much to see/do. Expect to be there at least 2.5 hours without participating in the swimming/scuba activities. Food selection is very limited and the gift shop needs a more diverse selection.

Yelp
What a way to see the island. Coral World provides several interactive experiences that allow you to get up close with the wildlife. We did the sea trek. Walking on the ocean floor as huge fish swam overhead was a first for me. I enjoyed the staff. It took a team of three to get our group down and up safely. They were helpful and more than willing to answer our questions. We were blown away by the videos and photos that they took of each couple. We were able to leave our tip via credit card in the gift shop-helpful. We were saddened by the unhealthy condition of the coral and lack of underwater colors, perhaps an artificial coral reef would work better with all of the human interactions. Also, the exhibit portion of the park has so much potential. I would have loved to see the park in its hay day. I would recommend you book an excursion here.

Yelp
The sea lion swim was the best experience ever! We had a trainer named Erin, her enthusiasm was amazing and you can tell her and the staff really love and enjoy their job. We learned a lot about the sea lions life, how they survived hurricanes! and a cool science experiment they are doing with the sealions. I love how Coral world is not just a "zoo" experience, you can tell they really care for and love their animals. We were able to swim inside a small pool with the sea lion(s) and play/interact with them, and also take pictures one on one outside of the pool. Loved the awesome sealions here, it's a must! :) We also did the dolphin swim and that was not so great.. and kind of ruined our day afterwards. Hence the -2 stars for this review. We had an trainer who was great, very nice, enthusiastic, but failed to warn us about a thing called "coral burn"... She had told us "this is how you get into the water" showing us to go bottom first in into the confined ocean area, but as not so confident swimmers we were sitting on the platform and proceeded to slide in without knowing there was coral on the platform. If she had said in the first place "This is WHY we go into the water bottom first, to PREVENT coral burn that is ON the platform" it would have save us immensely from the pain/itchiness and burning sensation we felt for hours after... clearly this has happened before because after she said so, and gave us some topical ointment that would help relieve the pain. Well mam, if it has happened before why did you fail to warn us? It pains me because the experience was once in a life time, to swim and play with dolphins. But the whole experience was traumatic, and not to mention the photos the photographer took were terrible. So there was nothing great to remember about that experience at all. If you're going to choose between any experiences, CHOOSE THE SEA LIONS!!! If this was just a review about the sea lions I would give it 5 stars.

Yelp
What a spectacular experience! We booked the Dolphin Splash & Swim and boy, this experience did not disappoint. It was definitely worth every penny. This place was one of the best parts of my trip to Virgin Islands. This is a very interactive event - you will be in the water and will have one on one interaction with a sweet dolphin. The trainer was excellent; she gave very clear and concise instructions and constantly stopped to make sure she could answer questions we might have. It was also recommended that we try the Sea Lion experience, so try that one also if you have the time. All of the staff was friendly and personable. Book this experience! You will not be disappointed.

Yelp
Fun day trip event great for kids and adults. Lots to see and do. We stuck to general admission ,but some fun underwater trekking looked interesting
