The more we stayed here the more we loved it. Vegetarian options were surprisingly good. Big portions though haha! Met great people here, both tourists and staff. You really got to know the staff too, goodbyes got a bit emotional. The first morning we stayed here I woke up sick, and when I was feeling better enough to go to breakfast, it was over. They however opened it late so I could eat. Those types of things go a long way! Some of the best reef any of us had ever snorkelled (unlike some other places, it was free to snorkel and time was unlimited) . The cave trip and sunset hike is a must. Make sure, when it gets dark, to close the windows, otherwise bugs may come in. Had to double take every time I went outside as the views were just breathtaking. Rooms needed a bit of work though. Highly, highly recommend!!!

Food- no menu, have to pay for a meal plan, big portion sizes. Takes a no menu approach no choice for lunch or afternoon tea. Breakfast you can get eggs(you can order whatever and will always get omelet) and toast. Breakfast came with a “buffet” that was tropical juice and a few options for cereal. You got 2 options for dinner most of the time unless you are vegetarian. Rooms- small rooms and not well sealed but a nice vibe, the bathroom doesn’t have a roof or sound insulation so you hear everything from the rest of the room. Our fan looks like it was about to fall off but was fine. Sunset hike- amazing can be hard to get up and down but worth it for sure. Takes around 20 minutes to get up the 150 meters in elevation. Path isn’t paved. Staff- very friendly and helpful. Made nice friends with 2 Fijian boys that are there through the holidays they are amazing. Snorkeling- incredible coral and animals and we went nearly everyday, you can only go in higher tides as the coral is carpet on the ocean floor. You can also kayak for free To get here use the sea bus as it is so much faster Go to the caves as they are amazing I would love to come back and is my now favourite place in Fiji

Beautiful experience with these people. Warm welcoming, great snorkeling, clean rooms, generous and accommodating people. It felt like staying with a big family and they offer many great excursions and activities. A little windy at times but regardless amazing experience. They didn’t mention the $20 fee to get to the ferry when checking out.

A thoroughly enjoyable layover! Highlight was the incredible coral reef right off the beach in front of the resort. Free snorkels and kayaks that you can use whenever you want, however long you want. 3 meals a day in the food package as well as afternoon tea. We were highly satisfied with the quality of the food at every meal, and the portion sizes were quite large. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating of any request. The resort is a bit smaller than some of the others we saw on the ferry and this definitely added to a more intimate, genuine atmosphere. The dorm was cleaned daily and we had no issues with comfort. With the added cost of the food package, optional paid excursions, and ferry transportation, it might not be as cheap as initially expected but overall cost of the trip was still far below what you would get at any other island getaway and we will cherish the memories for a long time.

So I had to think very hard to write this review. My family’s experience here was truly magical. We brought our small baby and the staff took extra special care to ensure we were comfortable. I know a lot of people complain about the food and the fact that you have to pay for the meals each night but it’s important to note that this isn’t a 5 star resort and these folks are working together with all they have to create an inclusive and standardized experience for all. Also, if you spend some time understanding the locals and connecting with them- you’d be amazed at how generous they are and what gems you can find in exploring the island of Tavewa and the Yasawa Islands. I was in tears before I left this place. Not because the food was amazing or the fact that there was an amazing beachfront (construction happening), it was the humanity of the people and the willingness to meet us somewhere in the middle to provide a more than 3 star experience. I feel like a different person coming out of this leg of Our vacation. I am grateful to Toki and the entire staff for providing us not with a resort experience but treating us like family. These are memories we will hold onto for the rest of our lives. Vinaka.

The staff were wonderful , everything spotlessly clean , great service at meal-time . All meals ranged from average to good. The constant wind was a nuisance and the annoying sound of a digger working was compensated by paid activities offered free. Good value for money.

Coralview is a good budget option. They have good activities, go to the caves if you can, and lots of free demonstrations and things to join in on. It is a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere and you are made to feel at home. I don’t think anyone particularly enjoyed the food. The beach is not one for sun bathing on but it is great to jump across to blue lagoon resort and pay a fraction of the price to stay at coral view instead. We had an issue at the end that was not handled or resolved well by the owner. Good for groups and people wanted to mingle and feel safe with a community feel.

Overall this was my favorite place I have ever visited. To start, the location is simply beautiful. While being remote and peaceful there are still many activities and excursions to do while you are there (at a great price). Cave trips, snorkeling, and many fun boat rides! There was never a moment where I wasn't having fun. The food was delicious at every meal and my room was always clean! Most importantly, the most special part about Coralview Island is its staff. My favorite part of the trip was being able to get to know all of them. Over the 6 days I was there, they became my family and friends. It was so hard for my friends and I to leave them and we already miss them so much!!!! I am already looking forward to the next time I can go back to my home in Fiji. Vinaka to Raijeli, Sio, Toki, and all the staff who made this trip amazing and made us feel at home. |Tip: ask Richard to take you fishing!!! <3
