My wife and I drove o errands yesterday looking for a different place to fish,I didn't take any fishing gear with us,but I'm looking forward to going back to fish. There are public restrooms,picnic areas with grills available,we can't wait to go back.

It's the biggest lake in the area. It's a great place to put in your boat or hang out on the numerous beaches. There is more traffic on it the closer(south) to the dam you get. I personally like the northern part past Bobbers as there are less people

Good place to check on fall colors.nature is also good..river is good for fishing...but water stinks a bit and isn't clean

This lake is really beautiful. The Iowa River goes through it and it’s on top of a big dam. Would highly recommend!
