"A London Park Just for Kids There's nowhere more exclusive in London than Corams Fields—because this is the one square in the city where adults aren't allowed, unless they're accompanied by a child. A seven-acre park and playground, funded by charity for the past 80 years to keep a sanctuary in the middle of town where kids can play safely, this is a great stop off if you're heading into or out of the West End with your family. There's a city farm, a paddling pool, a cafe, and events throughout the year."

A beautiful park, a real gem. Plenty of places to sit, a little paddling pool for the toddlers, lots of playground equipment. Will definitely return next time we're in London. Also loved the fact that there was an attendant on duty keeping an eye on who was going in or out.

It's very nice place for children to play. Ok this hot weather and it's really nice and cool here.

Google
This a great place to visit with kids. The adventure playground was where we spent most of our time but the paddling pool was perfect when we needed to cool down during the latest heatwave.

Lovely big children's play park. Lots of different areas for children to play, a large green grass central square and football/basketball pitches. Has toilets and changing rooms for babies, both clean. Can host private parties in a separate room. Got a café and seating areas dotted around. Loved the toddlers space with sand. Also has a small but cute wildlife space at the back. Recommended a visit!

Google
Nice spacious play area that is enclosed with a variety of play equipment, including swings, slides, roundabout, zip wire, sand pit, water area and more. Suitable for all ages, though majority would be for toddlers and younger children. Plenty of space to run around. There is also a basketball/netball court. No adults allowed without being there with children and no dogs can enter. In the early evening that we went, it was not overly crowded, so could use the facilities at leisure. Coram's Fields have a policy that they will close the Park at a time suited to them, so even though it was a bright day with no rain and the suggested closure time was 8, people were asked to leave at 7.15pm. Makes it difficult to plan your visit as there is no consistent closing time. Nonetheless it was an enjoyable time.

So many play parks in one spot & so much choice for the little one We love the secret little garden over in the back corner Plenty of seating and grass area for picnics in the summer months Signage on gate stating no adults permitted without child Toilets available too

Google
For those that don’t get why adults must enter with children, it’s because they don’t want weirdo pedophiles sitting in the park watching the kids. This rule is in place in many parks including the princess Diana playground in Kensington gardens. Lovely park for families.

Yelp
Wish the ground is soft neat foam like ground not dirt ground. Other than that seems more down to earth than US ones. Two bouncing crossing ropes" are extreme fun for 5 yrs n plus kids.

Yelp
I spent a beautiful Monday at this park with my 2 year old, and I can say -- it was a solid choice! *Only adults with children are allowed in. Seems like a funny rule, but then you realize that if not for it -- this place would be overrun with booze and picnics. So, thanks park people! *It's a privately run park. It's a large expansive square that is entirely closed on each side (comforting for those with toddlers that like to escape). There are multiple play areas for different ages that are fun and have quite a bit to do. My son found his way to the one water portion of the park and sat in it for approximately 3 hours. It was a bit unkept unfortunately, but I blame that more on annoying parents that think leaving their busted pails and spades and water bottles is "helpful." It's not helpful, pick up your shit. The water was kind of gross as it was standing for quite a long time, so while I wasn't thrilled with it for the gross factor, he loved it and they splashed around for hours in the sand and water, so -- there you have it. There's a small cafe within as well -- best for ice cream. I went for a bottle of water and they were "out of water today." I've probably never heard this before. Weird. So, ice cream it is. Overall it could use a bit of a facelift but its a great green space in the city to take the kids!

Yelp
Large open space with a couple of play structures in all corners. It has an 1980s feel to it as the structures and merry go rounds seem outdated, but it's loads of fun! They don't let you in the park unless you're accompanied by a child. There is a little coffee shop that sells the best natural yogurts. Try the mix berry one, yummy yummy! I liked it because they kids seem to really have fun. Many of them were playing in the sand pile without shoes. Everyone there seemed really relaxed. Fun free activity!

Yelp
You don't get much better than this in central London. First of all, the gate has a sign that says no unaccompanied adults. You cannot go in unless you have a child. Secondly, there are about 4 different play areas for different ages of children, from tiny tots through to early teens. The area for older kids has helter skelters and a flying fox. The third awesome thing about this place, is the animals in the petting zoo. Some of which roam the park area freely. Coram's was established on the site of the Foundling Hospital that used to house London's abandoned children. The site was last used for this purpose in 1926, and has since been turned into a trust, caring for children and young people in and around the Bloomsbury area. There is now an astroturf area for football and other sports on the area where the hospital used to stand. The outer buildings are used by various youth groups and a nursery, and the central area has been turned into a play park and petting zoo. If you are interested in the history, the Foundling Museum lies just behind the Coram's Fields complex. If you live nearby this is an excellent place to let the kids run off a bit of steam. It should keep them occupied for at least a couple of hours.

Yelp
Coram's Fields is a marvelous place to bring your kid/s for a run, climb, picnic, bite to eat, baa or quack. A wonderfully big open space (gated for safety) with a massive lawn, sandpits, play areas for toddlers and bigger kids, a vegetarian cafe, and a farm corner (rabbits, birds, goats, sheep, ducks, and hens). It feels incredibly inviting and relaxing, and is a real kids' haven of a place to find in the middle of such a busy city. Kipfurl at Coram's is a little Austrian vegetarian cafe that serves up kid friendly sandwiches as well as some with a more adult taste, pasta and other hot foods, and fruit and cakes, all for a fairly reasonable price. However, if you're looking for treats for a picnic, perhaps a quick stop at Waitrose in the neighbouring Brunswick centre, or at any of the local shops on Marchmont. Don't forget your bucket and spade for the sandpit!

Yelp
Perfect for young children, it has playgrounds with slides, swings and so on. The small petting zoo is nice as well. The park is free and as there can be no adults without children it has a nice safe atmosphere. A nice free place to go with small children

Yelp
After hearing about this from my wife, we decided to check it out. I wanted to like it but didn't think it was all that. Maybe it was the time of year but it just seemed run down and uncared for. Uneven paving, well compacted wood chips on the play areas and fences falling over. The animals looked bored and their enclosures needed a good clean. Overall not impressed - looks like it could have been a kids oasis in the past but now a skeleton of its former self - sad such a neat place has fallen into disrepair.

Yelp
A favourite haunt of ours for the last 20 years. A hidden gem tucked away by the Brunswick Centre at the end of Red Lion Street. If you have kids this is a must visit place. To gain entrance adults must be accompanied by children. A great mix of sandpits, water play, playgrounds, grass areas, an adventure playground with aerial slide a cafe and animals. If the sun is out bring a picnic or visit the cafe and chill out knowing your kids are in a seriously safe environment. Great venue for kids birthday parties we have been to a few here over the years. They also have astroturf football pitches at the back of the park for hire. We have so many fond memories of simply chilling for the day here worth searching out.

Yelp
I have very little to say other than, this park was fantastic. They have a zip line!! I have noticed that playgrounds in London have all the fun things that they don't allow in the states anymore. It would be very easy to spend hours here.

Yelp
The fact that Coram's fields has on-site staff and prohibits adults without children from entering, means that parents can relax in the knowledge that their children are safe to play here. Not only does it have a wicked sandpit, it also has a paddling pool, petting corner, nursery and veggie cafe.

Yelp
Fantastic place to take the children to play. Has a climbing frame for older chlidren and a sandpit and a smaller climbing frame for younger children. Large grassy spaces are perfect for parents to sit on whilst the children play, not that parents need to be there as the park has a strict no unaccompanied adults policy creating a safe environment for children to play in,

Yelp
A great place to take children. In fact, as an adult you can't actually go in unless accompanied by a child! There are lots of play facilities - swings, slides etc and a big sandpit. Lots of helpful staff around too. It's free to go in, although they do like it if you give a donation. It's fairly near to Kings Cross & the British Museum.
