Tours Corazón de Xoconostle

Fantastic trip from start to finish. We split the trip, spending 4 days in Huasteca (jungle) followed by 2 days in Real de Catorce (desert). Both Alejandro and Isaac were great guides, filled with information about the area and interesting history. We were a group of 5, of mixed ages and abilities, and we were accommodated and encouraged throughout the trip. We felt safe jumping into waterfalls, swimming in caves and climbing mountains with them in charge. We ate well and travelled through roads we would never have found without them. One of our party left an important item behind in a remote area. Isaac moved mountains to ensure it reached us safely, and we will be forever grateful for this which was beyond the call of duty. Hopefully this last part does not happen with your trip, but we highly recommend Corazon de Xoconostle for anyone looking for adventure in Mexico.

We booked a tour with Corazón de Xoconoxtle fir Xilitla. Issac (tour guide) and Marisol were fantastic guides. Highly knowledgeable, not only about Xilitla, but about Greek and Roman myth. They were really courteous and helpful. We had an issue on the road with a flat tire, and Issac went out of his way to fix everything, in a professional way. Hotels and food were great choices, included in the tour. We felt safe and really taken care of The trip itself is fantastic, and Xilitla is truly a garden of dreams. It is a unique place in the world, and we had high hopes, and it met an exceeded them. Highly recommended!

The place is well located, just 5 min walk to old center. The shared rooms are quite OK, maybe not the best mattress but not a big deal when u pay 140 pesos. The locker is very big. The common areas are cool, a patio on the ground level and a roof top. The breakfast is very simple: toast, some fruit, coffee and cereals but is included and you can help yourself with it. The staff is very helpful and friendly and you can get some tours there too. The vibes were cool, only thing was that the place was pretty much dead, I don't think many people come to SLP unless is passing by on their way to Real de 14, etc.

Simple, but welcoming hostel. Has private and dorm rooms. Private rooms also have theit own bathroom. There's a kitchen and roof patio. Not fancy, but pleasant and met some great people. Lots to do nearby, and they also offer tours to nearby destinations including hiking and rock climbing.

Very pleasing accommodations with friendly staff in GREAT centro location! Miguel was a wonderful host!! Comfortable clean rooms and common areas with full facilities such as kitchen, laundry, WIFI, continental breakfast all included. Located in best part of San Luis, walking distance to major sites and good neighborhoods. Calm and peaceful yet with good lively vibe. Would definitely recommend!!

Nice choice for BACKPACKERS and budget travellers. Convienatly located, clean and comfortable with friendly staff, willing to offer their advice and recommendations for the area. Kitchen, rooftop terrace and courtyard. Dorm rooms and private rooms available ..

The staff and place where great. I stayed for five weeks to learn Spanish and met interesting people from and at the hostal. A secured (inside) parking for my motorcycle was possible.

An unbelievable experience! I needed a last minute guide and Alejandro and Isaac were able to get me to the waterfalls. Isaac ensured my safety and showed me areas I would never find myself. Highly recommend. They speak English perfectly y hablar español también.
