Have been a CorePower member for 4 or so years and used to go much more often. The company is frequently updating their terms and conditions and then doing sketchy things. Examples include: increasing the "locked-in" monthly membership price and raising the amount of time before a class you can cancel without paying a fee. You also used to be able to pause your membership for free, but now they make you pay $15/month even while inactive. The studio can be kind of gross, but worse the mats are very close together, which makes it hard to feel comfortable and flow if you're taller. It's really hard to get into the right headspace if you're constantly worried about kicking the person behind you. I have had a really good experience with teachers here and at other locations around the city, and I think those teachers are quite underpaid for the effort, energy, and time they put into it. I'm so tired of every private equity-owned company soullessly extracting as much of my money as they possibly can at every turn.

I love the classes at the studio. I have been visiting for over 2 years now. Kat and Tasha are some of my favorite instructors here. After their classes, I feel like I can accomplish anything in the world. I don't care so much about other facilities as I do about the class experience. But lately I have been experiencing that the acoustics in the sculpt room have been affecting my yoga practice in the Yoga Sculpt class room. Not sure if there has been a recent re-installation of the speakers or of it's new set of speakers or something else. But the music on the left side of the room (closer to the entry door) tends to get really really loud (It's definitely more than the healthy hearing levels). I recommend a sound decibel level testing be done in that room, and a max limit is set based on the healthy hearing level. If there is a need for the music to be that loud, I recommend sharing hearing protection ear buds at the beginning of the classes. I have been visiting the studio for over 2 years and the music definitely wasn't an issue before, but some new change that has happened recently is affecting it.

The teachers are good but the cost for membership is pricey considering the rate is the same as upscale gyms in the area. The space needs a renovation

Booked a class on Classpass, turned up on time but was told there was no more space in the class so I was turned away. The staff assured me they would contact Classpass so I wouldn't be charged the credits or for a missed reservation. However, I got charged the entire 31$ missed reservation fee. This has created so much hassle. I am upset that I was wrongfully charged and unable to attend at my original time.

I've been to countless yoga studios around the tri-state area and overseas, and I have to say - not a great place at all. The place is filthy- grimy mirrors, dirty carpet. For an UWS yoga place, I'm highly disappointed. While the instructor was super nice and gave a great class, the music is way too loud and doesn't transition from start to finish, so there is definitely no zen feeling of rejuvenation after...and this is with stating on the website that the Playlist is curated...hmmm not sure how fast rock/pop is curated, just had a headache after - not to mention kids running around loudly somewhere during Savasana. If you're looking for the whole yoga experience-this isn't it.

Google
This place is unfortunately not up to the level of other CorePowerYoga locations or other studios in NYC. I have been going for a year and a half and I feel like the quality is going down. The membership is expensive 200/250$ / month but wondering if it is worth it at this point. Lockers are almost all broken… The heat doesn’t work half the time. When it does it doesn’t go higher than 80F. Teachers are friendly but only a few of them are experienced and pay attention to breath, creative flow and form. (I’m a certified 200 h yoga teacher who has been practicing for 10 years so I can speak to that part). I’m actually worried people will get hurt in some classes and I constantly modify for myself to make sure I’m safe. Additionally classes especially C2 are far from challenging for those with an experienced practice. This not comparable to any descent studio in NY. I really hope they step up their game or I will have to cancel my membership :(

Google
The classes here are awesome, I cannot speak highly enough of the instructors. But, the facilities need a facelift… the lockers are falling apart, the studio ceiling was dusty/grimy, and the floorboards are all dinged up. Great instructors, not so great location.

I am writing this with the perspective of a 5+ years of CorePower membership. I went in with very high expectations because CPY has been a huge part of my life and I was looking for the atmosphere and experience that I am used to. This place did not disappoint. The studio is new and clean. There are only two showers but alas that's the reality of living and doing business in New York. The same goes for the prices - I was not happy with paying multiples of my Chicago fair but that is true about my apartment too - you pay for what you get. The most important part was the class itself. I took a 75 minute Yoga Sculpt with Meredith and it was one of the best classes I've taken in ages. She stuck with the formula, made it fun and gave us enough of both space to modify and motivation to keep going. All in all I went to if it was worth it and was once again reminded why I love CorePower and this community. Will definitely go again.

Yelp
It's a wonderful studio with excellent instructors. I'm an instructor, but I've been to almost 400 classes from the other teachers over the past three years.

Yelp
I know I'm a little spoiled when it comes to some yoga studios as I do go out to LA a lot and this is the closest one in my neighborhood. I think the rooms could be a little hotter as I really don't sweat that much in it and you should with vinyasa and hot yoga. I really hope they can take some feedback on two things here: 1. Please make the rooms hotter for any hot yoga class and 2. I really hate how the lights are turned on and all the shades are up. Yoga is about being in a meditative state and most yoga places have dark/dim lit rooms with fake candles or something so would love if they could be open t these suggestions! :)

Yelp
Great class! Great instructor! Was visiting New York and needed a good butt kicking and this was one of the hardest classes I've ever done. The staff was all so friendly and inviting

Yelp
Today was such a waste of time. Life happens and i showed up a few mins late. They wouldn't let me in and told me the class was full even though my friend in the class said she had saved a spot for me. It's fine that they don't want to let in late people but at least specify that in the confirmation emails your spot isn't really confirmed unless you show up 10 mins early. They try to disguise it with yoga bs talk and say it's to "get oriented" but it's obviously so they can make more money on the next person who shows up plus the no show fees they collect. The studio is small and you can walk the whole thing in a minute or less, you don't need 10 min to "orient yourself."

Stephanie C.

Yelp
This is just a bad company. The studios are dirty and unsanitary. They don't care about their clients. It's more like a factory. Any inquiry was responded to with a cold factual response. When I joined, I was told by the person at the front desk of the studio that to cancel, I just needed to do so before the next billing cycle. This turned out to be incorrect information, so when I was hurt and couldn't practice, they would not cancel my membership but rather made me pay an additional month. It's no wonder the person didn't know the cancellation policy as it is buried in their legal document on their website. Luckily, New York is filled with options for working out (especially expensive ones like CorePower), do yourself a favor and opt for one of those.

Yelp
Why 5 stars for CPY? Because it's CPY... in NYC! Beautiful new studio with delightful professional staff members who just crush it in classes. As always with new studios there's a kink or two, but it's Corepower so they'll address them. Fan for the shower room, and perhaps a shoe rack at the entry point... Nothing to get hung about, CPY forever.

Yelp
I love this studio and this is the 1st CorePower location I've been to in NYC so far. Everyone is super sweet, employees and even other customers! I'm so happy I signed up here. It's definitely worth the money for the service you receive. So far this is my favorite studio and I recommend signing up!

Yelp
Corepower yoga tribeca repeatedly bills for missed classes that were never missed. It's $15 each time and they make it ridiculously hard to get credited and point fingers to others internally rather than fixing the problem. This happens as often as 5x a month and has been happening for a year. Feels intentional.

Yelp
* Complimentary week for new students * (book classes online for NYC studios) * Towels and mats are NOT provided, and can be rented for $2 each * (CPY gives you a complimentary mat & towel during your first class) * Water is also $2 a bottle * * No need to bring a locker as lockers here have their own lock (lockers out in the open) * * 2 showers (no vents), and 2 bathrooms * (you'd essentially change in one of these spaces * * shoes off upon entry * * water fountain drips slower than a turtle and needs to be fixed * * classes can be pretty crowded at times * I personally like classes that make me feel like I'm suffering. All the classes are hot yoga in 92+ degree rooms. I took the corepower 2 and it was more of a vinyasa flow, and personally too slow for me. The yoga sculpt class is what I highly recommend. It is essentially hot yoga + weights + cardio all in one. I'm not going to lie, I did feel dizzy at some points, since it was my first time trying out this class, and I pushed myself a bit too far but I managed to finish the class without giving up. I was dripping in sweat and could not cool off for a while but I loved it. I will definitely be back for this class.

Yelp
Extremely horrible customer service Today is Mother's Day. I was able to get out of my house and away from my toddler for what I thought was an 8:15 class at CorePower yoga which ended up being at 8am class but since I got to the studio at 8:10 the person at the desk this morning refused to let me into the 8am class because it was 10 minutes past. Honestly it was exactly 8:10 and I had made a mistake and it's Mother's Day. Also it's pouring rain so that just adds nicely to all of the consideration taken by the staff. What kind of monsters work at this place? Just stay away.

Yelp
I want to preface this by saying I was using their 7 day trial and I forgot when the 7 days ended. Well today I walked into the facility ready to complete the last day of my trial. I never received a notification through the app or an email that my trial had ended and when I got there the employee checking me in told me it had ended. I was like okay that's fine and kindly left and then I heard the employees laughing at me, mocking me. (They had no idea I was listening lol). How elitist, and rude. They have no idea who I am. I hope this company learns how to hire more empathetic and kinder people. Considering how rude they are they are not at all qualified to be instructing yoga which is a practice focusing on positivity and patience. I don't know exactly what the employees names were but I want to assume one of them was Adrianna because she was going to teach the class I was signed up for. (Please excuse me if I'm wrong because there might've been a last minute sub). I was going to sign up for a membership that day after class knowing my trial had ended but never mind. In this day and age micro aggressions will not be tolerated.

Yelp
I have been visiting CorePower Yoga for about a few months now. I am a huge fan of the Flatiron and Bryant Park locations. Not too sure what is going on at this one, though. The studio is extremely difficult to find. It is located on a 2nd floor walk up. The studio is also very cramped and the set up is super awkward. I also was not fond of the the receptionist/ front desk (not sure if she was an instructor) woman that assisted me. She was extremely rude and gave me an attitude. She couldn't locate my account to check me in and in turn tried to accuse me of using various accounts to secure the "free week" trials. I assured her I had a black tag membership (and can afford one) and advised her to look up my credentials properly. She apologized. I don't believe she was even an employee..? The studio lacks customer service. That's for sure. There are also NO CHANGING ROOMS. You expect me to change out of my sweaty clothes out in the open? Men and women are suppose to change in close proximity with wide open windows behind us? I'm sorry. I don't know who designed this concept but they must be exceedingly incompetent. I'd avoid this location. Not going back. Ill stick to downtown.

Grace M.

Yelp
I used to love coming to this location as it's super close to my house but this morning I got to class at 9:30 and apparently they lock you out the second class starts? I tried getting a refund but am hearing no response from the studio. Extremely disappointing and will not be returning to this location again.

Yelp
Let me be clear: this is not a yoga studio. They do not practice yoga here. The instructor played dance music during the class and just quickly yelled poses at us with absolutely no context or demonstration. Most people just stood bewildered between poses trying to watch other people who had taken the class before so they could copy those people. This is pretty much just an overcroweded yoga influenced pilates class for people who like Soulcycle. If that appeals to you, then you will like it. This is not what I want when I go to yoga, so I would not recommend it. I was trying not to laugh the entire time. This "practice" is like a movie parody of trendy workouts. Also their website, app, and scheduling platform are not linked so expect to have an impossible time scheduling any classes. They offer a free into week, but it's not even worth that. Pretty much bad all around.

Yelp
I'm spoiled with the LA CPY Studios haha. Took a class with Ryan? who was great. Forgot how good and challenging a 75min C2 class can be! Loved that we got to practice a handful of different variations in the time we had from crow to inversions to birds of paradise. Downsides: only two showers total (shared men/women) and two restrooms. Waited almost 30mins to take a shower. I guess space is super limited in the city, but yeah not my fave experience. Luckily o wasn't in a rush to get anywhere. Also, if you have Black Tag, they still charge $20 per class in any of the NYC studios. :( Total bummer but the staff was at least super accommodating.

Jeremy Y.

Yelp
STAY AWAY!!! FAR FAR AWAY!!!!! Do not. I repeat do not, sign up for any trials of any kind. They'll post a free trial and have the fine print on a 2nd/3rd level page (not the same page) that the trial rolls in an automated membership (without consent or acknowledgement) that is darn near $200. I only attended 1 clas during the trial period. Back in March Haven't seen a studio since. Oh and if you request a refund for not knowing this occurred, you will not be receiving anything. I've been billed twice for absolutely nothing and they didn't have the common decency to grant a refund. Gotta love corporate thieves and tricksters.

Yelp
Unlike some of the other reviewers, so I thought I'd offer my two cents. I really like the classes here. I've taken C2 (for people with yoga experience and some heat added) and yoga sculpt (think circuit/interval training but with yoga) and both classes have been amazing. Going in to CPY on a hot day is actually great because the heat outside feels so much more bearable and almost refreshing after a class. There are lockers to hold your things, bathrooms to change in, and showers. Overall, I really like my experience at this studio. My only problem is that it isn't exactly the cheapest option in the area. The price to value ratio is just a bit too much on the expensive side. The first month is $154 but then goes up to ~$200 something. I don't remember the exact price but if you have a membership to a gym on top of it, it's quite a lot of money to spend on fitness a month. I've also heard from other people that your membership from other locations don't transfer to the NY location like it does in every other studio (there's a $20 charge per class on top of your membership). So if you come here often, you can make the membership worth it but if not, buying a class package might be better for you. Also, they have a tendency to overbook classes. The rooms don't exactly have space for 3 rows but they still fit all of us in there anyway. If you're not paying attention, someone's foot might hit your face during half moon pose. This is especially true during weeknight classes after work hours.

Yelp
did the 75min c2 again! same instructor, erica, she is very good! challenging class with some extra time to learn some of the harder poses like arm balances.

Michelle W.

Yelp
I'm torn the facilities are absolutely terrible (among the worst of any work out at this price range) but the class and instructors are fantastic! I throughly enjoy taking classes here and I've had some of the best yoga instructors I've had in the city at this studio. (if anyone from management is reading this please give Dustin better time slots!) the classes are usually challenging but maintain a relaxing/meditative quality. However, the studio itself is terrible. The towels they provide (for a fee!) are cheap bath towels not actual yoga towels. If you want to shower there you have to purchase an extra towel which I find ridiculous. It makes no sense to be a premium hot yoga studio and not offer clients anything to clean up after. There is also very limited space even by NY standards and students are piled on top of each other trying to change/use their lockers. I continue going because I love the classes but I seriously question how they can charge premium prices when the studio itself is the way it is.

Yelp
I splurged on the Black Tag membership here because I have been waiting for CPY to come to NYC! (My love affair with CPY started in California and I was thrilled to hear they were opening studios up in NYC...finally!!!!) This location offers C1, C2, HPF, and Sculpt classes. I love the variety and I love that I know I can rely on the quality of classes that the CPY brand brings every time I go. With that said, CPY in NYC is EXPENSIVE. Further, this particular location, while definitely super convenient (a block away from the 1!), does not offer the amenities that other CPY locations do. There are lockers to securely put away your things, a water refilling station, and mat and towels for rent, but there are only 2 toilets and 2 showers. Space gets tricky outside of the studios because of how the lockers, hallways, and standing/waiting areas are configured; I always feel like I'm in the way of something or someone. Additionally, the 2 studios feel quite small/oddly shaped and have poles that get in the way, which makes settling into your practice a little distracting when you're inches away from the person next to you and you may or may not be placed behind one of said poles... (I suppose these issues just come with the NYC real estate territory though...) All in all, I am a fan of CPY and I am satisfied with my experience thus far at this location. I am investing in my health and well-being by committing to the membership and using it as much as possible. :) Of note: There is a phone app through which to book classes; it's convenient, user-friendly, and really helpful to see when your favorite instructors are teaching. However, *BE WARNED* that if you do not cancel within 2 hours prior to a class you've signed-up for, they will charge you ~$34. (This was not explained to me when the location opened and the app was promoted, nor does the app say anything about the penalty fee, just an FYI).

Yelp
CorePower yoga offers a variety of heated yoga classes. This New York upper west side studio is brand new (opened 2 weeks ago) and the studios themselves are fantastic. There are hardwood floors, fairly even heating and humidity control, and a mirror in the front. I signed up for the studio during their opening special, which is still being offered now. THE CLASSES: I have taken three of their class formats: C2, Yoga Sculpt, and Hot Power Fusion. C2 is more like your traditional vinyasa yoga class, but a slightly slower vinyasa and in a hot and humid room. Yoga Sculpt is a class that combines weights with a flow sequence, and has bursts of cardio and songs targeting sculpting different areas of the body. It is definitely my favorite class, and Lara's 75 minute Saturday class was my favorite Sculpt class that I took (took 4, each with a different instructor). Hot Power Fusion is a class that mixes bikram elements with vinyasa elements. It is a very slow moving class focused on balancing and stretching. It was my least favorite class at the studio, but I am biased since I am not a fan of bikram. That being said, it was relaxing and I can see it as a good way to end the day. THE AMENITIES: This location has two workout studios, two bathrooms, and two showers. The showers are individual unisex shower stalls and not within a locker room. They have the basics - shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, and not much else. In the times before and after class, there's often a bit of a line for the bathrooms and the showers, since there isn't enough for the amount of people who can be in each class (over 30 people in each class, and 2 studios). In addition, the studio rents yoga mats and towels, I think for $2 each. The mats are nothing special and are the cheap slippery type that doesn't have a good grip. The towels are more like shower towels and are not mat towels. The first rental is free. I usually brought my own mat and towels since I wasn't impressed with the quality of their rentals.

Yelp
I tried core power for the first time in Atlanta while traveling for work. As a yoga purist, I wasn't a big fan initially of diluting the yoga experience with weights and cardio. But oh man, I was so wrong. This by far is one of the best workouts that I have tried in a long time. I now have signed up for the black tag membership in NYC. I am still trying to work with the different teachers and don't necessarily have a favorite yet. I also tried the core power 2 class which was challenging. But I think yoga sculpt hands down is the best class they offer.

Marissa T.

Yelp
Really nice brand new studio on Broadway right next to the chase bank. The studio is pretty small, but very clean and really nice people working there. There are only 2 bathrooms and 2 showers, so sometimes there's a line after class. I've only taken the yoga sculpt class which I would highly recommend for anyone looking to amp up their regular yoga practice. By combining weights and upbeat music you leave class feeling energized, strong and extremely sweaty. First timers get their first week free!
google avatar

Lucy M.

Yelp
I've been to a few CorePower yoga studios in the city and this is by far my least favorite. There's no proper changing room and only 2 showers for 2 studios full of people they cram into the rooms. Also the shower is separate from the toilets where the hair dryer and toiletries are which is a pretty stupid setup. Additionally, the studios are really weird shape and design and it didn't feel nearly as hot as other CP studios I've been to in the city. Overall, I can't recommend this location.

Bri B.

Yelp
Wound up getting really ill with Covid and reached out to see if they were able to retroactively freeze my membership pass from the start of when I was sick and they only allow you to freeze it for an entire month starting the day I reached out. Really disappointing customer service especially for having the all inclusive membership and not being adaptable to Covid.

Sara V.

Yelp
Core power yoga is the fucking WORST. They refused to give me a refund for an automatic charge on my account for 1 month of u limited classes, which i DON'T WANT. I got charged today and called within 24 hours of the charge and they told me I needed to do it 24 hours BEFORE. This is so fucked because last time they were able to refund me but they never told me it was a 1 time policy. They just have terrible customer service. So fuck this business, i will no longer be attending their shitty classes and irrational charges
google avatar

Yelp
The yoga is really good- athletic, sweaty, great workout- either heated power yoga or the sculpt class which isn't really yoga but is a killer workout. The staff is very friendly and studio is clean. Removed a star for the facilities. This is re Bryant Park location but I think policies are same. I believe that at these prices you should be able to take a shower comfortably and be able to use a towel. I pay similar for Soul or Exhale and get to shower and take my time getting ready in a nice environment. Here there is no room to get ready or even put your stuff while showering. They do not provide towels for showering. I threw my drenched towel into the hamper after class and realized in locker room there were no towels. You either have to pay to rent 2 towels (one for class, one to shower) or bring your own- which is annoying to me - having to pack so much and take home a wet towel and they don't even provide bags to put wet things in. There is deodorant but not much else for getting ready. Wouldn't suggest coming to class here if you have to be somewhere and look presentable after. Great if you live nearby and can go home to shower.

Brianna F.

Yelp
This is a great corepower location! The staff is typically friendly and most of the time is not overly crowded. I've been to other studios where every mah only has 2-3 inches apart and that was just insane. They don't have as much merchandise as some of the other locations which is I guess good or bad on how you look at it their bathroom shower situation could be better. Also the AC or ventilation or something in the sculpt room seems to be a little off.

Lexi B.

Yelp
Friendly staff and an easy location to get to even during covid. The studio is sparkling clean and class sizes are comfortable. I've enjoyed all instructors so far
google avatar

Julianna A.

Yelp
Super awful. Disappointed and absolutely livid. If you are a black tag (unlimited) member they charge a whopping TWENTY dollar surcharge PER CLASS to practice here. WTF? I paid a lot to come up here, raced through the subway, and was SO very much looking forward to relaxing and unwinding and sweating and feeling great with a good yoga class. I'm already paying for a national membership, and have worked at your studios in California as an employee. This is ridiculous and you should be ashamed. The blonde girl at the desk was absolutely unapologetic and frankly rude and not willing to help. Your company a multi-million dollar corporation and can totally afford the rent here, give me a BREAK. Nowhere in my black tag membership agreement did it say "oh, and BTW if you go to NY be prepared to spend an extra $20 PER CLASS." Go elsewhere, there are millions of yoga options in this city.
google avatar

Gehres P.

Yelp
The 2 stars are for the class which was good and challenging as well as the facility which is very nice. I would definitely come back if it were not for the instructors checking me in. I guess a lot of people try to use the free week that is advertised online and they thought I was trying to scam them or something by trying to use it. They were shockingly rude and passive aggressive. At the end I felt very uncomfortable during the class and couldn't really enjoy it. Definitely the place to go if you are trying to get back in shape but not the place to go for positive energy.
google avatar

Behzad S.

Yelp
First of all, the instructors are great, but my negative review is about the high prices that CorePower has set for this location. The classes at this location are ~50% more expensive than the ones in California and cost almost twice as much as many yoga classes in NYC. They justify it based on the higher rent prices in NYC which would've made sense if the studio was spacious which is not the case. This studio has only 2 showers and 2 bathrooms and no changing rooms. Also there were close to 40 people in the class that I was at with around 5 inches of space between the mats. It's impossible to do a lot of poses like hurdlers when the space is so tight. To sum it up, you can't charge more than other places while also offering less space/amenities! One of the two has to change.
google avatar

Maggie H.

Yelp
There are no locker rooms so you can't change or take your time freshening up after class (which is necessary after loosing all your body weight in sweat in 105 degree yoga) as there are only two single stall bathrooms for all 30 or more people in the space. The studios are clean but very small and the price tag is ridiculous for a single yoga class. $32 for one class? If you have a black tag membership in another state (unlimited classes) you still have to pay a 20$ surcharge which is ridiculous. Many places in NY offer yoga for 10-12$ or 18$ max, not 32$. I wanted to love the NY studio because I live here but I must say the Core Power in other states are much nicer.

Yelp
I'm a huge CP junkie. Used to go in Santa Barbara, and was so excited when the NY facilities opened. I love how fast-paced it is, love the music, and love the instructors (especially in Flatiron, everyone is so lovely and personable!) Two qualms thats I wanted to address, though: 1.) It is ridiculous that you're charging $34 (a full class price) for a missed class. I've already paid for the class I'm missing, so you're then charging me for TWO classes? Most studios charge a $10 fee for missing classes, but $34 is absurd... especially when we HAVE to book days ahead of time in order to get a spot. Heaven forbid I forget about one and bring my Black Tag Membership from $150/month to $184! 2.) Having to call the Denver customer support center every time I need help with something is very poor customer experience. There was a bug with my account where I couldn't book new classes, and I had to call 3 times before I was able to get someone in Denver. I couldn't book new classes for 1 week and because I'm doing the 30 day challenge, I had to travel all over the city to get into classes. I'm hoping you can improve upon these issues, CP!

Yelp
Facility is nice and you don't feel like you're in nyc but the class itself is meh. I did the CorePower 2 and it wasn't that challenging and lacked a variety of poses. I will say this is one of the few clean and modern places I've found in the in the city for hot vinyasa (baptiste-esque) flow - I recommend Lyons Den as well. Studio rooms are pretty small and don't fit that many, majority of the real estate is a dis-jointed locker/waiting area. Rent mats and towels for $2 however mats are kinda cheap and falling apart and they don't have yoga mat towels only smaller towels for sweat. No direct phone line to the studio, if you call the number you are sent to a customer service line at their corporate office in Denver (bizarre and frustrating).

Yelp
I am a fan of CorePower Yoga and have visited 7 locations nationwide. The price increase here is out of control. The classes are not as high quality as other CorePower locations, the rooms are strange and make it difficult to hear the instructor if you find ourself tucked away behind a pole. And for this kind of money I expect nice changing rooms and more than 2 shower stalls.

Yelp
They really pack people in like sardines at this place. I couldn't fully open my arms during class without hitting the people next to me. Class selection is also disappointing - very few options. The staff is friendly and studio is clean but for the high price tag...not worth it.

Yelp
So happy that CorePower finally opened in NYC!! Their yoga sculpt class is by far the best workout in the city (loved Suzannah's class). And they just added showers which makes it the perfect mid-day workout!

Yelp
I have tried lot of studio all around the world, CorePower Yoga is one of the best. I highly recommend them. Very welcoming and helpful stuff, the studio is spacious and well maintained and the most important is that the vibe is amazingly positive. Instructors are all excellent, you will find easily your best ones. Try Yoga Sculpt with Sarah or with Myra and C2 class with Tegan, I'm sure that your muscles will remember them for a while. :) It's so bad that I have to leave NYC, I will miss this studio.

Yelp
Best yoga ever. I honestly cannot believe this Yoga service exists. When you walk in, you're kindly greeted; staff are polite and positive; both the people and the literal studio are inviting. I haven't tried all class types- I recommend YogaSculpt because it DELIVERS on the strength and cardio exercises. Even if it wasn't warm in that room, YOU WOULD SWEAT. It's also really clean and CorePower offers good prices on renting towels and yoga mats ($2 for each per class). Of course I wish prices were lower, but it's a nice NYC yoga studio so I guess it's expected. That being said they also had an UNBELIEVABLE NEW MEMBERS promo (literally 1 free week?? I guess I see why they can offer this business model- it's so nice they bank on people coming back???). Anyways, coming from someone with literally ZERO YOGA EXPERIENCE I had the time of my life! Highly recommend.

Yelp
I bought a 10-pack of classes and was told they never expire. I created an account it showed 8 of the 10 classes remaining, then I go to the studio and they tell me there is only one class remaining, visit them after class and they figure it out. Then I'm told, looks like when we used the one class, you can no longer find the 8 classes, you've got multiple accounts that need to be merged, call corporate. Maybe we can't see classes back from 2012... then why when I created the account this morning did is show the 10-pack I purchased in 2012 for $155, with an expiration in 2042...and then it just disappears. I contacted Corporate via email since it's the weekend and hope they can locate the classes that mysterious disappeared. I would like to use them at the new studio and of course not be ripped off, I would not have purchased a 10-pack if I knew they would disappear. Life... having babies, needing babysitters, moving, etc. all got in the way of using the classes, but I was told they would always be there. Everything is linked to the phone number, why are fitness aps so crappy. Orange Theory never knows how many classes I have either and I have to call corporate. If you're going to take a customers money, then have away to fulfill the purchases, classes that never expire, need to not disappear from an account. There one second gone the next. On another note Tennyson Studio is nice. Flow was a good class. 10-packs are now $215... hence my reason of buying classes at this boutique studios that never expire, feels like a deal in the future if they can find your purchase in their system. Anyway, pretty good yoga class and then all the benefits of stress relief gone away by this annoyance. Update: Corporate was of no help locating my missing classes and now I magically have 1 class instead of zero. I asked for a record of classes and it appears they were just randomly made up dates. Do not trust this corporation to deliver product you purchase. They should not sell classes that do not expire if they cannot track them as such. I would have used them up prior to expiration if they had an expiration date, but instead they made them disappear. What a complete rip off. Update: appears someone stole my classes, I had a key scan & it fell off. My bad I thought nothing of it knowing I could just use my phone number for my classes, not thinking a yogi would steal. I'll contact the person below and see if she can help me resolve. My contact at Corporate was absolutely no help before or after I pieced together they can been stolen, so bummed since I only love a few blocks from the new Tennyson location & thought I'd be a regular.
