Corfu Imperial, A Grecotel Resort to Live – Review (Stay: 16–20 July 2025, Swim-Up Junior Bungalow Suite) We stayed at Corfu Imperial in a Swim-Up Junior Bungalow Suite, which had a shared pool with only three rooms. The view from the balcony and pool was absolutely stunning and made our stay feel very special. The resort is clean (I would rate it 8/10), and the restaurants — especially the breakfast restaurant — were excellent, truly a 10/10. The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional, and the customer service was perfect (10/10). There are three private beaches: one for adults, one for regular guests, and one for villa guests. A nice touch is the free “hop-on, hop-off” boat that takes guests to the sister resorts’ beaches. We loved the outdoor cinema on the small island connected to the resort — such a beautiful place to watch a movie under the stars. The resort also has many water sports, kids’ programs, and fun activities that can all be booked easily through their app. Every day, there is a free shuttle service to Corfu Old Town, making it easy to explore the area. Final thoughts: Corfu Imperial is a wonderful resort with great food, friendly staff, and beautiful views. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Corfu, and I would definitely come back.

An exceptional property that delivers on discretion, comfort, and consistency. The three private beach access points are immaculately maintained, with seamless water taxi connectivity. Breakfast is extensive. The seafood restaurant is outstanding in terms of service, quality, and taste. The Greek salad is possibly the best on the island, and the Italian restaurant is exceptional. Only the Greek restaurant falls below the otherwise impeccable standard. Service throughout is polished and professional, and the in-house beauty salon is superb. A distinguished hotel that comes remarkably close to perfection and in most areas, quietly achieves it.

We had a wonderful family vacation at Greek Hotel Imperial on Corfu in June, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience!||From the moment we arrived, we felt surrounded by a warm, welcoming, and home-like atmosphere. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, making sure everything was just perfect throughout our stay.||A special highlight was Alena, who led yoga sessions and various fitness activities – she brought such great energy and professionalism. It was a real pleasure to start the day with her workouts, which were both relaxing and energizing.||We also loved the opportunity to enjoy watersports right at the hotel – such a fun and active way to spend time with the family!||One of our favorite places was the “Bocchetto” room – everything there was delicious! The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely full of flavor. Every meal felt like a special occasion.||Another bonus was the spa, where I treated myself to a hair styling session – and the result was simply perfect. It’s such a treat to enjoy wellness and beauty treatments in such a peaceful setting.||All in all, Greek Hotel Imperial gave us the perfect mix of relaxation, activity, delicious food, and heartfelt service. We’re already dreaming of coming back!

The hotel infrastructure, staff and location are all superb. Cleanliness very high standard and, both planting and maintenance, of the extensive grounds exceptional. A special mention also for the quiet and very efficient air conditioning in the room and public areas. ||The ‘resort’ is family-orientated. If you are a couple seeking some peace and tranquility it might not be for you (or us). A great pity as there is sufficient room in the complex to comfortably accommodate the needs of both families and couples. While the hotel appears to acknowledge the needs of couples, the ‘silent beach’ is poorly signed (small sign in English only on one of the two access points), no enforcement (guests were intervening with noisy families!) with children’s inflatables stored on the beach itself. The ‘adults only’ pool appears for all-comers. Disappointing that despite text reminders to guests via the hotel communications system the early-morning towel sun bed blockers were out in force during our stay. If you can’t beat them, join them - so 8:00 towel laying became a routine chore. ||The food only gets a ‘good’ rating. The evening serving needs two chef-dishes instead of one and some of the food in the metal ‘containers’ was only luke warm. ||Overall, this place has so much potential to be an outstanding holiday destination for couples. A few more supervised ‘adults only’ areas and a couple of tweaks to the food offer and it could be a ‘must-go’ annual visit. Sure it’s great for families though.

Very nice hotel with beautiful facilities and friendly service. The pools are great, the food is great, the location is awesome, the employees are friendly. Some areas need improvement: beaches get very crowded during the day. They try to find you a spot but sometimes you have to then share a single chaise. They remove people's stuff that is unattended for a while which is a good thing. But in one instance we were placed somewhere by the attendant and then the original people came back after a while and got mad at us for "taking their space". I don't need this kind of stress when I am on vacation and definitely not in this price range! The breakfast service is also often very crowded, just not made to handle the amount of people. This is not the fault of any worker and everyone was super nice - it's more of a design limitation. The buffet dinner was very good - the food quality and variety was just exceptional. And absolutely every employee is fantastic and friendly from the moment you pull up the driveway.

In short, this resort is for families with children not couples. While there is an adult pool, it’s a few feet away from the family pool and immediately adjacent to where they host the children’s activities. The ‘silent beach’ is not silent as there are families enjoying themselves loudly here here too (happy for them!). As such, the entirety of our four days here was a constant soundtrack of crying/screaming children, despite it being mid June before most schools are out on break. Absolutely nothing wrong with a family friendly resort, it was just more family centric than I expected so want others to be aware.||The other issue is the seating available for a resort that size. It has 300 rooms and while the resort was not full while we where there (according to the front desk), by mid-breakfast service all lounge chairs at the beach and pool were taken and I saw people having to pull up bistro chairs to have a place to sit. Similarly, mid to late breakfast hour is so busy sometimes seats are hard to find and it’s chaos. There is also very limited shade on the beach due to the size of the umbrellas. ||They also guard beach towels, as you are supposed to bring them down from your room but if yours is taken when you get up for lunch and you ask for a new one you are told ‘are you sure you don’t have one in your room’. While I’m sure this is done to be eco friendly, they are giving out plastic bottled water everywhere instead of communal pitchers. ||The staff were all incredibly kind, but none of our bookings could be found. Upon arrival (in their their car service) they couldn’t find our hotel booking. When reviewing the activities we booked in advance with their concierge, they couldn’t find them and were told ‘just show up, it should be fine.’ This themed continued for meals, taxis, etc.

We had the most wonderful stay at this amazing hotel, and we cannot thank the staff enough for their kindness, warmth, and incredible attentiveness throughout our visit. From the moment we arrived, every team member made us feel truly cared for, going above and beyond to ensure our personal needs were met — especially regarding important medical requirements and a special celebration during our stay. A heartfelt thank you in particular to Dimitri, who was simply outstanding. His support, professionalism, and genuine care made all the difference and turned our experience into something truly memorable. It’s rare to find such thoughtful service, and we are so grateful for everything the team did to make our time so special. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for exceptional hospitality and a truly personalised experience. We are here for 10 nights and won’t be in a rush to go home and are already planning to return later in the year.

This was our special family holiday due to many significant events taking place in the same year. After much research and heavily influenced by my youngest daughter’s obsession with all things Greek we chose Corfu Imperial. |From arrival to departure the welcome and hospitality were outstanding. |The staff were all exceptionally polite and accommodating. |The resort was simply magnificent. |Wonderful location on a private peninsular. |Great fresh water pool, rarely overly busy.|From pool to the beach was a few hundred metres. |The beach was great. Crystal clear sea, lovely yellow sand and again not overly busy. |We stayed half board in the Boschetto building. This is a short walk (couple of hundred metres max) to the main hotel. |The room was impeccable. Great size, well appointed, fantastic air conditioning and nice and quiet. |We were half board and the breakfast and evening buffet had a wide choice and the standard of food was without fault. |Around the pool we were brought complimentary water, grapes and ice cream. A real nice touch. |We will definitely return and already cannot wait for that time!
