Corfu Mare Boutique Hotel

We stayed her for a week following a cruise . What a beautiful hotel and grounds . Spotlessly clean and all the staff are welcoming and friendly.|We upgraded our room to the 3rd floor as it was our Anniversary and we were to delighted to find wine and fruit in the room with a lovely card . |My husband used the gym a few times which was on the lower ground floor and had air conditioning available |Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice |We had dinner one night and lunch twice - all excellent ||TIP|there were lots of midges/ mosquitoes around the bar area outside so make sure you have Smidge or some other deterrent to hand|The hotel have 3 Fiat 500 cars for hire which was very convenient and we toured the island over 2 days ||The hop on hop off bus goes from the port near the hotel and was well worth the €22 euros for 24 hours to see all around Corfu Town ||There is a donkey sanctuary in the north of the island that is well worth a visit particularly if you like donkeys and cats ||It takes 30 minutes to walk into Corfu Town which we did most nights and there are a variety of ways you can walk both down by the port and up through the residential areas ( more interesting in daylight but very dark at night) . Google maps was very useful for this |A taxi back from the Town cost €15

My wife and I enjoyed our week at this hotel at the end of August into September. The rooms were OK with air conditioning & a ceiling fan. The reception area was pleasant with plenty of seating & a small library. The dining room was bright & airy & weather permitting a few tables around the pool in the evening with good entertainment some nights. The food was excellent & we enjoyed dining there most nights as restaurants are scarce in the vicinity of the hotel. Breakfast was very good as well & catered for most tastes with homemade cakes, pastries & jam. The bar served lunch also & drinks were reasonably priced. It's a nice pool area & sun loungers were always available. We could not fault the staff who were all excellent at their jobs. Recommend.

On arrival at 10pm we were seen straight away and given a list of all the information we required for our stay. Lovely staff on reception. Our room was clean with a mini fridge and a big wardrobe. The rooms are slightly dated but we only used ours for sleeping so it didn’t make a difference. Great pool view balcony, which I requested before arrival.|The bar was very relaxing and the bar staff were amazing and super friendly. They looked after everyone with the same approach and made you feel welcome immediately. |We didn’t spend much time round the pool but we got a bed in the afternoon when ever we wanted one.|The hotel is about 20/25 min walk away from the old town, of you use the top road instead of the main road. It’s so able but then you can also speak to reception, who had us a taxi within 5 mins every time. Cost is about 12/15 euros each way. Well worth it. We had a hire car so used the hotel as a base. There is not much around the hotel and you need to travel to a beach, it seems most people used the buses to get about. The only shop near the hotel is a little kiosk on the main road but they had plenty to choose from. |The main event in this hotel for us was the restaurant! We used this twice during our stay and we highly recommend giving it a try! |Overall we would use the hotel again and we enjoyed the releaxed atmosphere.

2nd year here for my wife and I. Fantastic again. Vasilis, Olga, Elena and Marena looked after us extremly well. Food is fabulus and compeditive pricewise with town. A bit far out from the center (about 2.5K). There is a bus at the top of the road but only every 2 or 3 hours so times didn't a;ways suit. I would highly recommend this hotel. One suggestion I would make would be a shuttle bus to and from the hotel. I would think it would pay for itself.

This Hotel gave my wife and I one of the best holidays ever!!!!|It was clean, very friendly, well stocked and well equipped. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and skilled in all areas of hospitality. I am also vegan and they catered for me off menu with a smile. They simply took everything in their stride and dealt with professionally. I always seem to have issues in people understanding veganism in foreign lands...not here!!!! They got where I was coming from and the food was fresh and cooked to perfection. It truly made our stay perfect. Unlike the Jet2 all inclusive package holiday last year....£2700 not to be fed!!!!, salad and chips is not sufficient for every meal!!!! But they seemed to think it was. Of course I only complained 10 times about it without any renumeration whatsoever...so thanks for nothing Jet2...|Then we have Tui on this corfu holiday...simply perfect. Thank you so much Tui and Hotel Mare. If we can we will be back. It was peaceful and tranquil. The catering staff were wonderful...simply wonderful. I truly cannot praise this Hotel enough....only one downside about it..now I'm home, I have the holiday blues.......xxx

This is possibly the friendliest hotel we have ever stayed in ( we have stayed in many hotels!) From our arrival, the staff could not have been more welcoming, friendly and hospitable. The room was exceptionally clean and bed very comfortable. The Restaurant Staff were exceptional, with the lovely Vassili and wonderful waitresses going above and beyond at every meal time! They work so hard, always cheerful however busy they are. Food was delicious , and we found plenty to choose from the Set Menu. The pool is a good size and enough Sun loungers. Brilliant Gym for size of the hotel. Location is about 30 mins walk to the Old Town which is stunning. We did a Day Boat Cruise & BBQ, and hired a Scooter for the day, both were fabulous experiences. It’s the attention to detail that makes this hotel outstanding - it is very important to the staff that you have the very best time. They take so much pride in their work - we Brits have much to learn from the Corfiots! We can honestly say, we have never left a hotel before feeling like we were leaving family, but this is exactly how we felt. We will definitely return and would very highly recommend this wonderful , gem of a hotel. Thank you all so much for an amazing, relaxing experience!

Myself and my husband stayed at the Corfu Mare Boutique Hotel for 10 days during June 2024. We had a lovely stay. The hotel is immaculately clean. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The pool facilities were great and we could easily get a sun lounger most days. ||We only ate an evening meal at the restaurant once which was nice. The lunchtime bar food was nice, in particularly the margarita pizzas were delicious. ||The only minor negatives were the room being a little bit tired but I believe there's a refurbishment due and thus didn't impact our holiday. The hotel is slightly out of the way which was exacerbated by the heatwave we experienced when staying there. ||I would recommend this hotel to couples wanting a relaxing enjoyable holiday.

We stayed at the Corfu mare hotel in august 2024 as a family of two adults and two 17 year old girls, we could not fault any aspect of holiday. The hotel food was amazing, pool are was quite, relaxing and spotlessly clean, the service from all staff was second to none, reception helped with every query we had, bar and restaurant staff could not have been more attentive and welcoming, in particularly Vasilis and olga (although every member of staff were amazing and made us feel so welcome). A short walk to a cocktail bar and a few restaurants with amazing views onto the harbour and absolutely beautiful food that was very reasonably priced.|Overall highly recommend for a small quite relaxed holiday, a very friendly hotel|And would definitely return.
