We got a tour of the distillery, our guide was knowledgeable and fun! We got to taste test some gin. We hosted a party here and the women was super nice! I wish it wasn’t raining so we could go outside! Bathrooms were well kept! A little hard to find using google maps. The entrance is before the train tracks- there is a sign. You can also use the Amazon parking area as well.

I came here mostly as a treat for my boyfriend since he’s more of a whiskey, gin, etc. person. He enjoyed the flights and I enjoyed my drink as well. The staff was friendly too. If you’re someone wanting to learn and try these kind of drinks, definitely recommend!

Google
An amazing distillery in Jerseu City. Their Gin is great with variety of options. Ambience is pretty good. And if you go during winter months on Thursday, pretty much no crowd. I thought it was an abandoned building, but so happy to discover it. Try it out.

Friendly staff, diverse crowd, great spirits, and good prices. The outdoor patio is huge as well if you’re looking to enjoy the weather while sipping high quality gin. There’s also ample parking if you’re arriving by car. Since they don’t serve food (they legally can’t - NJ needs to fix this ASAP), you can bring your own food. Love this place!

Google
Great addition to the scene. Really classy place to enjoy a cocktail. I hope that they get a regular liquor license so they'll be able to expand the drink selection and serve food. THEN A 5 STAR.

Google
Cool space offering distillery tours as well as a bar and lounge area with a fireplace. The cocktails were well made and the ambiance was relaxed yet sophisticated. In addition to the bar, they sell bottles of gin and vodka made in the on site distillery and Corgi apparel. The building is hard to find (don't let the gate fool you) but worth the trip.

Google
Awesome time. The site says tours every hour but they were pretty lax about timing. We were last tour of the day and they let us eat the food we brought and have cocktails beforehand and didn't rush us or anything. The space is super cute and cozy. Didn't bother posting photos since there are already plenty in other reviews. Sara(h) was our tour guide and they were super awesome and answered questions if we had any. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend for a girls night out (what we did) or a date night. On site parking was a major plus as well! We had a great night thanks to Corgi Spirits. :)

Google
A bit of a walk away from the street but keep going! It's a really classy place with great drinks. It's worth it for the atmosphere but then the drinks are top notch distilled right there. There is no food though so be aware of that when drinking

Yelp
(Drank 07/16/23 SU @ 2:30pm): You had me at "distillery"; you had my friend at "corgi"! When my friend told me about Corgi Distillery, there was no doubt in my mind that we had to check this place out. Plain and simple, I loved a good drink and the idea of exploring various types of libations (and cuisine) on my travels always appealed to me. My preferential order of tastings was breweries, wineries, and distilleries, but mainly because of what was readily available wherever I was. With a heavy focus on gin, that was also a plus for me since I've become more appreciative of this spirit in recent years. With the lil' black beast along for the experience and maybe meeting a corgi, would this distillery be a hit with us!? PURCHASE 6-Taster Flight ($5.00 x2): A preset flight that consisted of their core spirits (e.g. Saddlecoat Vodka, Pembroke Gin, Earl Grey Gin, Barrel Rested Gin, Bee Blossom Gin, Cardigan Whiskey), you received a mere sipping sample of each. It was still enough to get the jist. If you purchased a bottle, your tasting fee was waived. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=xPxsIF1uoxo9YqtUm1aujA&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw Breath Of Fresh Air Cocktail ($12.00): A mix of their Garden Party Gin, cucumber juice, fresh lime juice, and fresh mints, this truly was a refreshing elixir! https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=ed1HCQbC2EfA5ex5Gb995w&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw Garden Party Mangorita Cocktail ($12.00): A mix of their Garden Party Gin, mango nectar, fresh lime juice, housemade triple sec, and tajin rim, this was mangorific... but why the smaller serving? https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=MzCg09lMdaRSehGgUu08BA&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw Corgi Cuppa Cocktail ($12.00): A mix of their Earl Grey Gin, fresh lemon honey syrup, and bitters, this reminded me of Ricola cough drop with an earthy ooph! https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=Yrj2wPogAt4O1-rB9ts_0A&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw Ode To Twelve Truck Cocktail ($12.00): A mix of their Saddlecoat Vodka, housemade banana liqueur, ube-flavored condensed syrup, and fresh lime, I was "Philipping" for this concoction! https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=2nyitMhtjCDXwYKCr8IaGw&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw Bee Blossom Gin 750ml Bottle ($37.00): The tasting winner, we enjoyed the fragrant lightly sweet flavor and were excited to make mixed drinks with it! https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=bDh94Fr4D9TH-6HAnpFHdA&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw SERVICE Friendly female and male bartenders warmly greeted me and took the time to provide the lowdown on their spirits and cocktails. We first opted for the tasters and then proceeded to several cocktails. Each time, we placed our orders at the bar which was fine, and we didn't notice any "table" service to collect our empties, so we brought them back to the bar each time. All was good - thank you! PARKING (FREE) They had their own private onsite lot. Otherwise, there appeared to be spots along the main drag of Distillery Dr. and all nearby streets. Another option was a driving service like a bus, taxi, Lyft (we did this), Uber, or train (the closest light rail station at Garfield Ave.) - 'nuff said. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=DqqHvOltcwO6U5uVD1TzjA&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE A large warehouse facility that was partitioned into a drinking area https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=iFVnFEj0QbGsh8HzYi5xTA&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw while there was an active flea market where the bar https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=NODi1Et9Bo8mJ1XAmCxcEQ&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw was located. Plenty of natural lighting in the drinking area only while electric ceiling lights filled in the rest. I didn't notice any TVs, while on this visit there was a live DJ https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=lZ6F-2zGC2u9-3IwSpEaYQ&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw spinning the tunes. ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL Corgi Distillery was a fun afternoon and would definitely consider a future visit. Plus, they were family and pet-friendly, so our lil' black beast https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=rsZUNLEIPkUeOhGfjyipcA&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw came along with his hoomans. I only wished the tasting portions were larger even if it meant an appropriate price increase. I appreciated that Corgi Spirits created a drink https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=djgbldlnKuqzAo_m4g0DDA&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw to complement the Twelve Truck ube macapuno pudding dessert. The prices were comparable, the menu provided several drinks to try, and the service was efficient and straightforward. I found total value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $97.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice...AMEX! 5.0 STARS

Yelp
I remember trying the brand at whiskey fest in Exchange Place a few yrs back so it was nice to finally be able to go in person to attend a friends birthday. First impression- where the hell was I going with a spray paint red sign with an arrow? Lol. Second - decent amount of parking and a lot of space. There are tables and chairs set up outside for when they have that available (during the day?). Inside, it's pretty spacious. Simple but nice decor and a large bar at the center. Across the bar is the private room. Our friend's wife had apps catered and they brought in their own cake. Bar service was fast and I only had 1 drink (it had ube!!) and it was delicious. Tasted like a dessert. The rest of the building was kept pretty tidy and simply decorated. All in all a fun experience.

Yelp
Such a cute distillery in Jersey city! We were heading home but saw a distillery and we had to stop by. It was hidden but follow the direction outside! It was Sunday afternoon when we got there so it was pretty empty. We were able to get a mini tour in with the other group of people which was so cool because you get to learn how the alcohol is made. Theres bar inside where you can get different types of drink . Corgi spirits has so many different flavor that you can try from which was so cool to see. There are so lot of seatings available that you can chill and the room was so cool with the interiors. Everyone was super friendly here and i want to comeback here again with my group of friends to hang out and have drinks!

Yelp
I CANNOT say enough good things about this place. I've been your average guest here either at parties or just for a couple drinks AND NOW I've hosted my own event here and can say with all certainty that they really have their sh** together. Sara is an absolute gem. Responsive, helpful, every email and phone call went seamlessly and any concerns I had were quickly addressed leading up to the event. (I'm a photographer and know how annoying people can be so I try and be respectful while also managing my own expectations) We did a total buy-out for my baby shower, had a good truck cater, a dj, photo-booth, balloon arch lady all set up earlier. Sara provided all of my vendors with help. The DJs could set up outside on their stage. She brought out folding tables for my gifts and food. They didn't rush us out of the place the second the clock strikes end time, which is always appreciated. They don't have their own food or kitchen however the inside is well air conditioned so even when it's hot outside, inside is a good break from the sun. My guests could not stop going on and on about the cocktails, they made me a special mocktail menu as well for the theme and for obviously not being able to drink at the moment. So so so happy !!

Yelp
Cool little spot if you wanna kill some time on a Saturday afternoon. Gin and tonic was delicious and the solo guitarist set a nice mood. Definitely check this place out.

Yelp
Am a big fan of Corgi gin, which I have had at various places around JC and Hoboken, and have bought to make cocktails at home. Finally got to visit the distillery with a group for a friend's birthday. Loved the vibe outside - very laid back, kid and pet friendly. The tasting flights were fun. But was just disappointed with the cocktails - they were fine, but nothing memorable. Service at the bar was also fine, maybe a bit lackluster. I'll definitely try again when they have an event going. Plenty of parking if you want to drive (with a DD!). I believe you can bring your own food, or have food delivered there.

Yelp
I went for the first time a few weeks ago. May I suggest you go before it gets too dark outside? I took 2 UBERS before I found the place. () Currently, there are no lights illuminating the establishment exterior and considering it's not located on a street but rather in a train yard you won't see it at first. There is a vinyl sign attached to a gate you can see when you drive down Pacific in the daylight but at night you can't see the sign. Ok. So now you are inside! It is fabulous!! The drinks are delicious. The ambiance is welcoming. The drink prices are really good! I went to a comedy fundraiser for someone's cat. I laughed while relaxing in a comfy high high-backed cushioned chair. Like I said the drinks were really good. Will I be back?? ABSOLUTELY. Then, the restrooms were nice and clean and effortless. The waitstaff earned their tips effortlessly like this is who they are and this is what they do. There is a homey feel but still a professional establishment. It not a modern aesthetic. Very vintage in my opinion. But clean and intentional. Hope to see y'all there. No pictures yet. I'll take some next time.

Yelp
Finally got to check out Corgi Spirits a few weeks ago! It's such a great spot, plenty of outdoor seating and a cool indoor space as well. I tried the Raspberry Beret and The Larry Bird drinks (both are on their Fall Offerings menu). I personally liked the The Larry Bird better; the pineapple juice pairs so well with their rested gin. One note - they don't have a food menu, so eat before you go, or bring snacks with you!

Dhru H.

Yelp
Such a relaxing environment, lounging experience and great place for a date or catching up with friends. Bartenders would answer questions patiently. I am a huge fan of their old Fashioned Drink. Unfortunately my recent last trip there and I ended up throwing up after 3 drinks( which has not happened in the past) They had an event that night and super busy. I am very sensitive to low quality liquor. I m taken back with this experience.

Stephy G.

Yelp
Corgi Spirits is just a JC gem nestled away in it's own private location equipped with a parking lot and all. When we first pulled up we thought we were in the wrong area until we saw signs directing us to the parking lot. It's a fairly decent sized building that hosts a bar/tasting room, lounge area, and of course the distillery. Whoever decorated the building did a great job, in the outdoor area there are fun corgi printed walls (great for the gram) and inside in the lounge area fun bookshelf wallpaper lines the walls and gives it a real hipster vibe. The staff is amazing, we were a small group of four and were really given 5 star service. We started our day with a few drinks at the bar, headed into the lounge to take some pictures and play with their games, then did a "tasting" which we split between the four of us (the tasting is 6 shots of different flavors gin) If you want a really good time take them all on by yourself, but I'd recommend sharing LOL. As we were about to head home, I grabbed myself a bottle of the Earl Grey Gin. I will definitely be back! Oh side note, the outdoor area is pupper friendly so feel free to bring your furry friends along for the fun!

Vishal P.

Yelp
I like the vibe of this place, old time English. Awesome array of gins. $5 for a flight tasting. The earl gray is surprisingly good. Nice list of cocktails. Plenty of seating outside. No food, but they have food trucks (though the Sunday I went they didn't have any) Dogs allowed outside.

Desiree D.

Yelp
$5 for a flight of a tasters of their various spirits - 6 in total. cocktails between $11 to $13 = i love the oranfrizer! it smells amazing and tastes better. the guavas n cream is interesting too. great service. impeccable bathrooms. plenty of couches, chairs, and private rooms to hang out in. if you need mixers, they sell them. chill outside with some games, picnic tables, benches, and they even have food trucks. ive been here 3 times prior, but its nice to see how much this business has grown since its been awhile since ive been here. looking forward to coming back & bringing a herd of friends.

Craig G.

Yelp
Corgi Distillery is Jersey City's first craft distillery and they've built up a (very) well deserve reputation for their gins and other spirits. I hopped down on a sunny Sunday afternoon with some friends to take in the experience. Walking through the door at the very industrial looking spot not far off the Liberty State Park light rail, you're greeted by an interior that matches "hunting lodge" with "sleek lounge" (and a side room crafted to look like an elegant study). Take advantage of distillery experience and order yourself a flight: $5 gets you a tasting of their offerings (the potato based Saddlecoat vodka that serves as the base of their other clear spirits, the peppery flagship Pembroke gin, the herbal summer special Garden Party gin, the spiked-tea-in-a-bottle Earl Grey gin, and the bourbon-ish Cardigan whiskey). The cocktail menu is crafted with pride and a great deal of care; you can't go wrong with any of the choices designed by the friendly bartenders. The Bittersweet Symphony (Garden Party gin, strawberry puree, fresh basil) and the Who Dat? (Barrel rested gin, brown sugar, mint, lime, Angostura and Pechaud bitters, simple syrup) were standouts.

Mel B.

Yelp
Do yourself a favor and give Corgi Distillery a try even though they're a little off the beaten path! Their drinks are good / cheap. Their interior is large and comfortable. They also have plenty of outdoor seating, parking and even a performance space. When we went on a Friday night, they were doing free 15 minute tours, but we had to leave. It also looked like they were setting up for a band performance. Next time! No cake cutting corking fee like Zeppelin.

Ashley C.

Yelp
My husband and I LOVE going to Corgi. We love it so much we ended up having our wedding reception there in September '22. The space is so lovely yet laid-back which is exactly what we wanted. Working with Sara to get the event planned was a breeze, and taste-testing to finalize our cocktail menu for the big day was easily the highlight of the planning process. The staff truly went above-and-beyond that day and during the lead-up and we are so grateful to them all! We had about 90 people so we did the full buy-out so people could make the most of the indoor/ outdoor options. We had the band on the stage outside, and food tucked away in the library room. It was such an incredible day and we're so happy we chose to celebrate at Corgi!

Christina Z.

Yelp
Staff is amazing. The drinks are so good. I never even knew I was drinking gin it was amazingly flavored. I had the "spa day" which had bee blossom gin with strawberries and cucumber. My boyfriend had a gin and tonic with their earl grey gin and elderberry tonic. The outside is so adorable, there are so many dogs and it's the cutest thing ever. We were there for a charity event and it was the best Saturday out. The inside is the absolute cutest but it was so nice out we stayed outside. Bartenders are fantastic and the coolest! We will absolutely be going back! (With our dog!)

Ahmed A.

Yelp
Been here a few times now! Always have a great time and nice replace for small groups! You can actually rent out the private room for parties as well. The gin is tasty and now they have a whiskey too which is also tasty! Every once in while they do tours of the distillery as well! Also they have board games and a parking lot!

Adrienne L.

Yelp
We had our wedding at Corgi and we could not have been happier! Sara and her team were an absolute joy to work with - so kind, thoughtful, patient, generous, and they make a damn fantastic drink to boot! Everyone was raving about how beautiful the space was and how great the cocktails were. We really cannot recommend this place enough.

Victoria W.

Yelp
Don't be nervous as you pull into it, but Corgi Spirits is conveniently tucked away in a private lot with free parking- a true miracle in Jersey City. It's a quiet outdoor space with tons of outdoor seating, umbrellas, Adirondack chairs, and more. The indoor decor is cozy as well. Each table has hand sanitizer sprays (locally distilled, if you get my drift) and socially distancing is practiced. The staff is friendly and attentive. Beware there will be many adorable dogs present, so I just hope you're not allergic. It's possible there will be dog hair floating around. Start here then head down the street to the 902 Brewery for a whole day of drinking and fun!

Danni J.

Yelp
Overall: Great local distillery with fun outdoor area, live music (Fridays), and food trucks (weekend days)! Location: It's a bit far from the main area of town, but get an Uber and drive on over! While there is a smaller indoor tasting room with comfy couches, there are a bunch of picnic tables and lounge chairs outside with a huge stage for the live band. While the sun sets super early these days, they have cute stringed lights and brighter lights if needed. You can also bring your pups if you stay outdoors! Service: The service is super quick, and Sara was helpful in deciding what to order! Drinks: The drinks are priced very well! You can also do a smaller tasting of spirits for $5 - we started with this and some mixed drinks, and the night was great! One of my favorite unique options was the earl grey gin - we grabbed a bottle on the way home!

Ashley L.

Yelp
Corgi Spirits is a great little gem tucked away in a sketchy back parking lot that isn't the easiest to find, but once you do, you'll be glad you did. It's close to Liberty State Park and a bunch of industrial stuff, but it's a warehouse with plenty of outdoor off street parking and outdoor seating as well. They have tons of delicious craft cocktails and liquor you can purchase to take home to create your own drinks from the comfort of your home. Their drinks definitely change along with the seasons, so go back time and time again to try their new cocktails. Fun tip- they often host little events, shows, comedy nights, etc so be sure to check their calendar of events and see what they've got going on!

Jeff D.

Yelp
I should mention that I am typically a beer drinker and not much more. I've been to more breweries than years in my life, but not many distilleries. In fact, this is the second one I've been to and the first in NJ. I should also mention that when I do drink hard alcohol, I generally stick to brown liquor so drinking gin and vodka at a distillery is not a common experience for me. Well, that might change now that I've been to Corgi. JC is the kind of place where many stick to their neighborhood and do not venture outside of that said neighborhood much. Corgi is more than a mile away from me which is well outside of my territory but I will absolutely go out of my way to come back. It's huge inside with plenty of space to move around. There are seats in the 'living room' area under their sign, seating at the bar, and even a back room, although this could be reserved for parties (there was definitely a group of people meeting up in there on our visit). We tried several of their cocktails including the Corgi Cuppa (delicious), Grind Cold Brew G&T (wow), Buckingham and Gin Old Fashioned. All drinks are $12 except for the Gin and Tonic which is $10. All drinks are also craftily concocted, made with fresh ingredients and without any shortcuts. We really enjoyed everything we tried, so much so that we bought a bottle of their Earl Grey gin (so smooth) to go. I would love to come back when it gets nicer out as they have outdoor seating and a food truck on some days. They are also right around the corner from Harry's Daughter which is a delicious new Caribbean restaurant. Bergen-Lafayette is becoming the new place to be!

Jessica W.

Yelp
This place was great. I went here for a yelp event and am so excited to come back! We were given a tour of the distillery and Bob explained the process of what happens. It was a really cool and clean set up . He was super passionate and knowledgeable. The drinks were awesome, we bought a bottle Of the gin to go. We were on the fence about which one to buy because the Earl gray is what they are known for, but we opted for traditional gin. Excited to come have a drink or two and play corn Hole and eat some food truck tacos in the summer! Definitely go check this place out .

Yelp
Seemingly far (but not that far at all) from downtown JC, just over the railroad tracks (literally) and behind a bunch of scrap metal (also literally) lies Corgi Spirits, JC's only distillery with a tasting room and cocktail bar. If you have a car and don't plan to get tipsy, drive. There's plenty of parking. No car? No problem. Take your Uber driver on what is sure to be a moderately confusing trip. I've only been to Corgi when it's cold out, but there is a large outdoor space right off the parking lot wherein I can envision a good number of people enjoying craft cocktails outside on a very sunny day. As spring is finally rolling in, I plan on doing that soon. On the inside you'll find a great bar with plenty of comfortable seating, should you be lucky enough to find some open leather chairs and couches. If not, there's plenty of standing room, so you won't feel crowded, even when it's crowded. There's also a large lounge library for more sitting, also available to rent out for a large group. Tours of the facility itself happen every so often - I'm sure there's an actual schedule somewhere. All of their cocktails are made with their craft distilled spirits - gin, whiskey, and vodka. I think the vodka is excellent, I'm a Tito's guy and I think Corgi's potato-based vodka is just as smooth as its corn-based Texas friend. I do very much like the whiskey too, it's got a nice spice to it that makes for a very robust old fashioned. The drinks are priced well (~$12) and the service is excellent. No food, but you can bring yours in. The hours are a little weird, so my only caution is that you check beforehand to make sure you end up with a delicious drink instead of a trip to the scrapyard for no apparent reason.

Yelp
The drive to this location was a bit questionable. Thankfully Corgi Spirits had local signs directing you to their location once you entered town. Upon the arrival there was sufficient parking and sufficient open area that I will discuss later. Once inside after hanging up our coats we walk to the bar for a Corgi Cuppa drink. The drink was strong but still drinkable. I prefer vodka and little did I know this drink had gin and yet it was tasty. As the evening continued, the owner, Bob introduced his bartenders and gave an informative presentation of Corgi Spirits Distillery. One of the bartenders gave us a sneak peek demonstration of one of their signature drinks. Shall I add I loved the bartenders' custom aprons. So much details went into this place from the bartenders attire to the bottle labels to even the bathroom signs. We then moved into the distillery for a brief view of how Corgi vodka is made, flavored, distributed, labeled & packed. Throughout it all Bob was beyond informative and with pleasure answered questions. One question was, what's the plans for the decorated outdoor space. Bob explained in the summer people can come on by for drinks and bring their pets! Love seeing an owner so passionate about their business. The evening was concluded with happy hour priced drinks. Overall this distillery is highly spacious. My plus one mentioned the possibility of someday having her engagement party here. I look forward to returning and even so when the weather is warm enough to enjoy the outdoors.

Dana O.

Yelp
Love this place!! Hidden gem! Has a big parking lot. Outside seating in the summer where you can bring the dogs! The drinks are always deLicious and they have seAsonal options, so it's great to see the menu change and try a new drink! They have a lounge library area to enjoy your cocktails as well. Service is always great. Sometimes they have live music and comedy. Just an FYI, they do not serve food!!

Janki P.

Yelp
Earl grey gin is great & they have a bunch of cute Corgi accessories! They have an excellent outdoor area to hang out with distancing during this time.

Alison C.

Yelp
Finding Corgi Spirits was no easy task, even for our Uber driver. The distillery was located in the corner of a large parking lot and included an outdoor space that was perfect for warmer months. The inside of the building was simply breathtaking! The actual tanks and machinery were located behind floor-to-ceiling glass walls along the right side. The remaining space was left for several lounge areas, a library, and the main bar, which offered custom mixed drinks and straight tasting flights. The decor was dark, masculine, and rustic with its brown leather and wooden adornments. We decided to start our experience with a tasting from the bar. For $5, we were able to select our included sips, and we went with the Saddlecoat Vodka, Garden Party Gin, Pembroke Gin, Very Merry Gin, Earl Grey Gin, and Cardigan Whiskey. Though we enjoyed them all, the vodka stood out as our overall favorite based on its sheer smoothness; there was no burning alcohol sensation or harsh taste. The Earl Grey Gin also made an impact with its unusual floral notes. After our tasting, we decided to order a few cocktails. I became obsessed with my Bloody Mary, which I requested be made with Saddlecoat Vodka over their proposed Garden Party Gin, a liquor I thought would provide an overwhelming cucumber and vegetable flavoring when mixed with the tomato juice and accoutrements. The spicy, well-garnished cocktail was pure perfection and one of the most balanced versions I had ever tried. My companion's drinks were a bit more unusual and extremely creative. We were both very impressed with the skill and knowledge of the bartender. Despite the comfort of our barstools, the opportunity to take our drinks into the library and enjoy them on the plush couches was an extra plus. When it came time for us to head home, we again experienced car service issues, with one driver cancelling on us and another getting lost for an extended period of time before finally arriving. Regardless, we were thrilled to have not only a distillery in our neighborhood, but one that provided an air of exclusivity and innovation.

Yelp
A terrific way to spend a weekend afternoon. Bob, the owner, has made a serious investment in Jersey City and his distillery and is producing top quality gins, including the only Earl Grey tea infused gin you are likely to find anywhere. The distillery is in an industrial neighborhood and a somewhat desolate warehouse a short ride or light rail trip from downtown Jersey City or Journal Square. Don't let it keep you from visiting: the decor of the tasting room (classy, British inspired) and friendly service, plus the short tour of the gin production facility in the next room make for a great one-two punch of enlightened drinking. The cocktails are strong and $12 each. We stuck with the elderflower gin and tonic and were more than satisfied. The hot toddy got good reviews from friends as well. Food options are limited to whether a food truck is outside, so check in advance or BYO. Otherwise, enjoy a classy option for high quality libations, support a local startup business, take a bottle home with you, and ask for Corgi gin at your favorite bar, restaurant, or liquor store.

Yelp
We rented the place out for a young child's birthday party. Kids had fun. So did adults.

Yelp
Some friends recommended this place. First, love that there's a huge parking lot esp for Jersey City. The inside decor was great. We came around 5:30 on a Saturday nigh and it surprisingly wasn't busy. Loved that we could bring our own food in. We sat on the luxurious couches. Drinks were really good. Only reason it's short of 5*, we had seating for all in our party but we had to exchange the chairs for fold up chairs because they wanted the seating for the rest of the customers. It was odd though, because the whole time we were there, no other customers came in. So we have to move all around and shuffle the chairs for no reason. Just thought that was a bit tasteless. Anyways, try it for the drinks and atmosphere.

Yelp
This place has such a cool vibe! Love the atmosphere. Creative drink menu. It's a great spot to chill with friends and have some day drinks!

Yelp
I am sorry I didn't write sooner but I took awhile gathering my thoughts. I had my son's rehearsal dinner here at the distillery in Sept '21 and it could not have been any more perfect. Sara Healey, the manager was warm and professional and made this night perfect. She was so easy to deal with as was all the staff. One price to rent the whole place for the evening was extremely reasonable including open bar for 3 hours. Sara coordinated everything including major help with setting up for 50 people. She used her own votive candles and even got some men from the distillery to help reorganize the furniture. We set everything up to our liking and when we arrived after the church rehearsal the place was lit with candlelight and the food we ordered from Cafe Bello in Bayonne was all set up - something we were supposed to be there for but couldn't get an Uber there in time. The place looked beautiful!! The cocktail menus were printed with the couple's names and were posted about the rooms. Guests mingled all evening as there were tables and seating arranged throughout all the different rooms. People enjoyed getting to know each other in preparation of the wedding. This was so different from just plopping down at a table in a restaurant. The atmosphere was so convivial and fun. The staff was so attentive. And Sara made sure there were enough bartenders. No one waited for a drink. They even had a bar set up for tastings! The guests had a ball ordering all different unique cocktails from their menu. Everyone said it was the best rehearsal dinner they had ever been to! I also highly recommend the catering from Cafe Bello. The food was excellent Authentic Italian food. I was so carried away and elated by the whole evening that I left without even offering to clean up which to this day bothers me. Sara and her staff went above and beyond at every turn! There is absolutely nothing I can say could have been done better. The night was perfection! I will be back to schedule future events for sure. Thank you again, Sara and thank you to your staff! Amazing night I will never forget.

Yelp
Where do I begin! From the service to the set up , to the amazing spirits. My sister wanted to celebrate her 40th birthday with close friends and family. She'd been to a tasting here and knew it was the perfect space. The staff was friendly welcoming and very accommodating. Esp the who ensured the night went smooth. Their vodka is smooth and tasty, so tasty that I bought two bottles lol. Highly recommend this space for rentals and/or tastings. I'm sure they will see me again really soon!

Yelp
Corgi Spirits Distillery is conveniently tucked away in a very industrial part of Jersey City. It's in a warehouse Building, the outside has tables and chairs to relax in on sunny days, the inside is huge with a nice living room vibe, plenty of seats at the bar. They allow you to do a tasting of all the products , one Vodka, three Gins and a Whiskey. They were all good, however we enjoyed the Earl Grey Gin & the Pembroke the best. Their Mixologist will offer you a nice selections of Cocktails to match your taste.

Yelp
Hands down my favorite tippler in Jersey City. I love everything about this place from the cocktails and spirits to the decor, the vibe, the food trucks (s/o to Incrediballs) and the owner. I can't wait for summer when the outdoor space opens and the day drinking of handcrafted artisan spirit cocktails on a park bench planted on AstroTurf commences! Check it out if you're in JC but save me a seat!

Yelp
Hosted my wedding welcome dinner/drinks at Corgi and it was absolutely amazing! Working with Sara and the team was great - they were extremely flexible and went above and beyond in making it such a special event. Corgi is the perfect spot for any event with ample space, delicious drinks, and cool vibes.

Yelp
Oh, what a fun place, and what a great addition to Jersey City. This is truly a hidden gem, as it's in a very remote part of Jersey City and hard to drive to. Our Uber driver may have thought we were luring him to a remote location to kill him. Thankfully for us and him, we just ended up at a wonderful distillery! The inside is beautiful. They have a fantastic bar area and a room that looks like it was made for hosting Clue-themed parties (funny enough, the owner loves the movie and hadn't thought of it....it must have been subconscious for him). Dark woods and deep greens abound, putting you in the mood for some classy libations. You have 2 options here: you can do a tasting (the fee is waived if you buy a bottle) or try one of their fun and creative cocktails. We liked everything we tried, but the Earl Grey gin (gin mixed with authentic Earl Grey tea) was a real standout, and we left with a bottle. The cocktails are inventive and seasonal, bringing out the unique characteristics of the spirits. I'm a sucker for places like this, and it's wonderful to see gin and tea, 2 of my favorite things, together at last. To top it all off, they regularly have food trucks parked outside, so you can grab some food and stay a while, planning your Clue party. Put on your best Professor Plum costume, call an Uber, and get ready for a wonderful experience!

Yelp
Loved it here! Staff was super friendly and the vibe was very cool. The bar gets crowded very quickly after work hours (I came here in February), so it was hard to find space at the bar. There are other areas where you could sit but unfortunately they weren't in great view of the live band playing that night. There is a separate room in Corgi that is quieter than the rest of the place and semi closed off. It is glass windows and doors so you can see everything happening outside, but you're not part of it. I wish they actually just made it part of the main room and didn't have it so closed off. It feels like you're not part of the same atmosphere/ambiance as the rest of the bar. We tried their flight and enjoyed every single one of their flavors. We had to run to dinner so wasn't able to order a full drink while we were there, but we plan on being back once things are more open!

Yelp
I am so glad this amazing place is still able to be open in tough times like these. Tons of covered outdoor seating, lots of open space, very clean, hand sanitizer at the entrance, and they maintain social distancing. Felt very safe coming here, the employees always have their mask on. Their cocktails are delicious, I highly recommend their earl gray gin! My absolute fav, on the rocks! Their cocktails are very different and they are all delicious- on the sweeter end though. I have been here for a friends birthday, and he was able to rent a room which fits about 30-40 guests- pre covid. Must try this place though!

Yelp
Great space, great cocktails. I would come here again and again to enjoy cocktails and just sit in the beautiful space they have. I enjoyed all their libations and gin. I only wish there was a little more signage from the street indicating where the distillery is because I was lost for a while trying to find it. That being said, it's worth the trip and worth getting lost to get here. Come! It's delicious! Note: There's no food served in here.

Yelp
I love corgi spirits! It's tucked behind a trucking/warehouse area so it may seem sketchy when first pulling up, but the driveway brings you to a nice courtyard area with picnic tables and adirondack chairs. They're super dog friendly, hence the name. The drink list is good, although sometimes I wish it was updated a little more frequently. But you can also order off menu as they have a full service bar. The indoor area is super nice too with leather sofas and a library lounge. Definitely a go to if you're in the Jersey City area.

Yelp
Went here with three of my girlfriends on a Saturday around 3pm, and found seats at the bar right away, despite there being a private party of ~40 ppl in the "library". The space is large and roomy, with seats at the bar and comfy couches/sofa seats in the open space to the right of the bar. Too bad it was raining out, as dogs are allowed in their outdoor space! The bartenders are friendly, and the cocktails are amazing. While the distillery itself doesn't serve food, they have the incrediBalls food truck outside serving some pretty yummy meatballs. We didn't get a chance to do the distillery tour this time around, but we will definitely be back for the tour and more cocktails!

Yelp
Loving my Dark side for dessert. Muggle's brew absolutely yummie and a union jack martini. All were the best cocktail before s $5.00 ginand vodka tasting. Love this place!

Yelp
So happy this place popped up here in Jersey City, only wish we found it before the cold months hit. If it was summer Corgi has an entire mural outside great for our instagram lovers. There are picnic tables, corn hole, a meatball food truck, and what looks like a stage for music. Maybe when the weather gets nicer! The inside decor did not disappoint either. This distillery is definitely a gin persons dream. However, being a vodka/tequila person it was only okay. I would probably give it more stars if there were more drink options with vodka. The only vodka drink they have is a mule which also wasn't served in a copper mug because they use plastic cups for the outside area. It definitely affects the taste. The other drinks were a little more pricey but I expected that. There weren't tours available when we wanted to go but we were given samples of the gins at no charge which was nice.

Yelp
We came in on a whim one Sunday afternoon. He got the Dutchess Rhubarbara, which was delightful. I had the holiday hot toddy with the Very Merry and was inspired to buy a bottle to make some at home. Everyone on staff was super friendly and Bob, the owner, told us about the different types of events they're going to host. We arrived just as a wreath-making event was wrapping up and learned that they have a singles mixer later this week. I will be back when I have gin loving friends in town, this is a great space. They also have a smaller event space, which they rent out.

Yelp
Walked in early on a Friday night, friendly bartender (thank you Barbara!), mellow music and laid back vibes. Quickly ordered a tasting of their 3 gins and 1 vodka, all uniquely tasty. My friend also ordered meatballs via text order from the truck parked outside and they conveniently dropped it off inside in a matter of less than 10 minutes. Bob, the owner also gave us and the other guests a tour of the distillery and spoke to us about Corgi and how profits of each bottle sold are distributed amongst local charities in Jersey City. The rose gimlet cocktail was RIDICULOUSLY incredible and unlike any cocktail I've had before, carefully crafted, delicate but still crisp and refreshing. They also offer an array of corgi spirits to bring home and sweet gear for you and your 4 legged friends! I loved corgi and will most definitely be back again soon! Thank you for an unforgettable experience.

Yelp
This place is my favorite distillery in Nj!!! The drinks are so good and the place is so cozy! Love love love! I love that they have board games & that the staff is so nice!! Will definitely return ;)

Yelp
Damn! I moved out of the neighborhood just before Corgi opened, and now may have to move back! What a terrific concept-spacious, inviting, great cocktails, terrific spirits, and plenty of parking. After hearing that BeLa was 'up and coming' for years, it finally is!
