These are wonderful cottages and we really loved all the sustainable design features. We stayed in Badger Hollow during the February storms and despite the terrible weather we were so cosy and comfortable. Colin is a really great host and made sure we had everything we needed and there are so many lovely touches which made us feel more like we were staying in a luxury hotel - bathrobes, candles, essential oils.... Beautiful peaceful setting too. One of the nicest places we've every stayed in.

Top notch accommodation - we stayed at Badgers Hollow and I’m sure Willow Cottage is just as well- appointed. There are no extras, as everything you could possibly need is there - right down to coffee beans and fuel for the bbq. ||You will find Colin, your host, very attentive and very helpful in helping you plot your stay. ||We have stayed at many self-catering venues over the years and I can say with total conviction that this is right up there with the best of them.

Booked this cottage partly to see some local friends of ours. Sadly the weather was pretty grim most of the week but this made it all the more important that the cottage met our needs in being comfortable to be around. And there is no doubt it did. It has been very carefully and thoughtfully equipped and furnished by the owner, who is also responsible for the original conversion. It is a perfect retreat for couples, a beautiful living space, top spec kitchen and cosy bedroom. Note there are two cottages, around 50m apart and quite private from each other; we stayed in White Willow which has a seperate bedroom and a jacuzzi bath with shower over. We saw the other cottage, Badgers Hollow, which is just as nicely done, but it is open plan (and thus a huge space) so no seperate bedroom and I think a shower/wet room rather than a bath/jacuzzi. It's really a matter of preference. Note that both are well equipped for out of season, with under floor heating and lovely looking contemporary wood burners. There is also a pleasant outdoor seating area overlooking the valley so if you have better weather than us, it fits the bill for that too. The owner, Colin, is very helpful and knowledgable about the area, Note the cottage is up a narrow lane- but you'll need to get used to those because all the minor roads are narrow, mainly single lane, and with tall hedges/walls- and although you could probably walk to Fowey in about 20 mins, it's not really ideally situated if you want to be able to stroll into town. But for us, seeking some rural peace and quiet, while still close to the local attractions, it was perfect.

Stayed in White Willow Barn for 1 night with my partner and our dog as we had dropped someone off at Newquay Airport but really wish we could of stayed for longer! ||Colin was a very nice and helpful host and gave us a few tips but also said we can come and go as we please.||The cottage is spotless and very tastefully decorated and has everything you could ever need for a self catering holiday - loved the bean to cup coffee machine and was very pleased to see the cupboard stocked with various essentials for cooking and had even left milk in the fridge. ||The bathroom is gorgeous with a built in tv and Jacuzzi bath and the living room is really comfy with a fantastic view. Colin had even left his Netflix account for guests to use. ||We have stayed in lots of self catering cottages around Cornwall but this is definitely one of if not the best and would happily return for a longer break!

We stayed at Badgers Hollow this weekend as a last minute break away, we were definitely not disappointed. The location is perfect and the apartment is to a beautiful standard with everything needed and more. The perfect romantic get away. We will be returning again, thank you so much Colin 😊😊😊

This has to be the best self-catering cottage we have stayed in. Fitting and fixtures are 6 star. Cottage was stocked with lots of pantry items. Owner Colin was very helpful and knowledgeable. It is in a peaceful location overlooking farm lands and expect the odd wild life to come calling. You are about 1 1/2 miles from the town of Fowey with lots of shops, restaurants and 2 ferry services. It is only a few miles away in different direction to other quaint Cornish villages and coastal walking paths. If you want to unwind this is the place to stay. Highly recommended.

Fantastic spec lodges. Great local information available. Colin a great host. Home from home. Wi-fi. Netflix. Large flat screen TV’s in lounge, bedroom and even in the bathroom. Dressing gowns / bean to cup coffee grinder. Log fires. Plenty of towels. Fowey absolutely beautiful. Lots of beaches nearby. Not all dog friendly but still enough within 10 min drive.

Such a shame that such a stunning property with gorgeous garden and views is so let down with the cleanliness.|From arrival we entered the bedroom to the most awful musty/unaired smell and the sight of a filthy bedspread where the cushions were so discoloured they were yellowing. This was highlighted to the host when he just appeared from nowhere (at no point prior to our arrival had he been in touch to say he’d be meeting us). He tried to fob me off by saying the smell was the oak furniture and I was seeing things!|Unfortunately all soft furnishings were just as grimy, and really need a good deep clean.|Also be prepared for him to just appear during your stay walking across the garden, completely unannounced.|Such a shame as this is not a cheap cottage to stay at and where it has 5 star potential the lack of cleanliness really lets it down.
