Pavilion A was perfect for 4 nights! Quirky decor, outside seating, cozy fireplace for chilly mornings, and a comfie bed for a good night's rest! Light and bright, functional layout and very responsive staff. The main house is well preserved and historic, with beautiful gardens and a parlor with an honesty bar, very well-stocked. We didn't have the breakfast but I would recommend that as an add on- so convenient!

We stayed in the self contained apartments at Corinda Contemporary. As a family of 7, we loved the spaciousness of the apartments, the gardens and its proximity to walks into town or through bushland nearby. We ate several meals at home and found most of what we needed was available and I’m sure staff would have been helpful had we needed them.

This is one of the nicest accommodations I have ever stayed in. The location was great, the decor was exceptional and having the whole house was perfect. We were a group of two couples and three children. There was plenty of space for all of us. We loved discovering all the beautiful aspects of this unusual property.

An outstanding experience. The apartment was spacious and very well equipped. |If you need to do laundry there is a Miele washer/drier. The dining area easily accommodated our five people ||The breakfast choice and presentation was excellent and was served in an indoor sunny area in the hugely attractive main house. ||Thoroughly recommended for a stay

This scenic hotel is very special. We stayed 3 nights in a Victorian pavilion. Big bedrooms and a large spacious dining and living area plus pantry kitchen and terrace. The whole arrangement of buildings incl. main house is very scenic. Very friendly staff. Located quite closely to the city Center, however, situated on a hill (better grab a cab on the way back to the hotel)

This was one of our two top stays in all of Tasmania. Mary Spode's room was glorious, with a comfortable bed, views out over the garden and city, and the best bathroom ever - such wonderful fittings. A really restorative place to spend quiet time in. Loved the location, the friendly staff, the honesty bar and the delicious breakfast. Not to mention the topiary wombats. :) Highly recommended.

This is a beautiful hotel, we stayed in the Servants Cottage. The cottage is huge, well maintained and was warm during winter. The kitchen and bathroom are absolutely gourgeous. But there are a few downsides to this place: 1. It is located on top of a huge hill with a very steep incline and the street is not well lit, same for the courtyard. Since we travelled in winter, it was very tiring to walk up all the time. 2. As it is an old cottage, it is quite dusty. If you have strong dust allergies, they will get triggered. 3. The staff is only available until 6pm. While we were there, we met none of the staff, as we reached after 8pm and would leave on daily tours around 6.30-7am. Fortunately, the communication could be done over whatsapp, so everything was fine.

I've stayed at a few classy places in Tasmania but this may be my favourite! Great position, staff and accommodation. The garden is exceptional! Will recommend esp to overseas friends that like historic places.
