The New Business Traveler: Sabah's Mickey Ashmore Goes to Turkey for Inspiration, Materials, and Community

"In Istanbul, I almost exclusively stay at a hotel called Corinne Art & Boutique Hotel. It's a renovated old building that I've stayed at for 10 years. It's really good value. And it's a very dignified and beautiful place to stay with a location in Çukurcuma that couldn't be beat."

The name says it all--artistic and cozy with a WONDERFUL STAFF. Made us feel more like family than guests. The location was great for that part of the city, lots of hustle and bustle. For me, the small piano in the hotel café was a definite plus. The rooms were clean, adequate in size, many equipped with a small safe. While our room was on the street side, and it's as lively city, we slept well, The staff was extremely helpful in all ways. Looking forward to our next trip.

We booked this hotel super last minute the night we landed in Istanbul. The reception staff were super friendly and instantly offered us water, coffee, or tea. We had a super quick check in, maybe maximum 5 minutes and were then given our room keys. Our only complaint is that our room was facing the Main Street and since it was a weekend, it was loud. However, this is not the hotel’s fault since I don’t believe there is anything they can do. I would just recommend bringing some earplugs. Really good A/C that we even got cold at night and had to turn it off. Location is superb, super central but also residential. The staff is super attentive and great. I would definitely stay and recommend coming to this hotel.

A lovely hotel with truly exceptional staff ⭐️ — Ouzal, Mehmet, Can, and Shahin were all friendly and helpful. The location is good and close to key spots. However, the building looks a bit old, and the nighttime noise from traffic and loud music 🔊 can make it hard to rest. Breakfast is very basic — no cooked items or omelettes. I recommend it if you care about great service and location, and don’t mind the noise or light breakfast.

Really beautiful hotel and very helpful staff. The rooms are tastefully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities you would need. Although we didn’t have breakfast at this hotel, the cafe was excellent and served traditional Turkish coffee! We’d love to return, and would certainly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful hotel in an otherwise bustling city

Really enjoyed staying at this hotel! We arrived super early in the morning and they offered us a room so we could sleep a bit before moving to our actual room. We were offered tea and coffee which was lovely. The location is great, easy to get to places. Reception staff were super friendly. Room was comfy and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend!

Our family had a wonderful stay at Corinne Art and Boutique Hotel in Istanbul in August 2025. The staff were incredibly nice, kind, and genuinely caring throughout my visit. They went out of their way to make sure all my concerns were addressed. A special thanks to Uzan at the front desk, whose professionalism and warm hospitality made me feel truly welcome. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable stay with exceptional service.

Historical hotel in the middle of Istanbul, close to everything but in a quite street. Comfortable rooms, friendly staff, amazing coffee shop downstairs. Everything was walking distance. Comfy beds, clean rooms. Great value for money. I’ll definitely stay here every time I am in Istanbul

I have to say it is not worth the money. The bedsheets are old and ripped, the toilet has a smell, there is cheap/bad music from the fortune telling cafe next door until late at night. The doors are paper thin, you can hear everything at the lobby and the hall. The shower pressure was low and water didn't get too hot. If it was cheaper I wouldn't mind but it wasn't 🥲
