The New Business Traveler: Sabah's Mickey Ashmore Goes to Turkey for Inspiration, Materials, and Community

"In Istanbul, I almost exclusively stay at a hotel called Corinne Art & Boutique Hotel. It's a renovated old building that I've stayed at for 10 years. It's really good value. And it's a very dignified and beautiful place to stay with a location in Çukurcuma that couldn't be beat."

This hotel is awesome. I’ve been to Istanbul tons of times and know how hard it is to find a decent room for a fair price — this one didn’t let me down. Bright room, big windows, perfect location, and staff who actually seem happy to see you and treat you well. The bed? Amazing. The bathroom? Also amazing. It’s quiet inside the hotel, but if you sleep with the windows open, it can get noisy on a Saturday night. Breakfast isn’t anything fancy, but it’s decent enough to grab a bite in the morning — there’s some porridge, cheese, cold cuts, a few veggies. And the breakfast area is lovely — nice little street tables, good vibe. Totally recommend.

Pera's Gem ||An another legendary experience, warm welcome, great reception team, gentleman owner with a great conversation. Big thanks to Mr. Ali, Ozan, Ramazan and Kemal from front desk. These guys are in intention of being perfect and they succeed it very well. ||Extremely comfortable bed helps to have  quality sleeping experince. ||Vintage interior designed cafe welcomes  on ground floor with a great coffee smell and unique Pera street look. ||Pera is a unique place but it is nicer with Corinne Art Hotel experience. This hotel has a great marriage between Pera's atmosphere and Pera's architecture. ||Corinne Art Boutique Hotel is an artistic expression of Pera ||ILKER H.

Absolutely LOVED my stay at this hotel! Beautiful antique building, perfect location, great atmosphere. WONDERFUL STAFF! The reception guys made sure to help me with taxis, best room available and anything I needed. Very genuine, great value for the price. 10/10.

Been a guest at this hotel for the second time now with my husband. And I can only speak of them with much praise. All the staff at the hotel are extremely helpful and they always provide good service. They are very kind and always wants you to help with anything. The rooms are large and are excellently cleaned! The breakfast buffet is also very extensive and all the products they use are fresh. I would therefore always recommend this hotel to my friends and family. When we return to Istanbul, we will definitely choose this hotel again to stay.

This is a wonderful boutique hotel. The daily rooftop Turkish breakfast gets your day started right. The staff is so helpful and will accommodate any request. It’s a block away from many restaurants and cafes. Be ready to walk hills, but welcome to Istanbul. A couple blocks from the oldest turkish bath in the city. Also next to an embassy and police station so it’s very safe.

We booked the jacuzzi room and the room had the charm of a basement. No daylight at all but the sound of some pipes outside. We changed room but still had to pay for the expensive jacuzzi room. The new corner room was good, but the bathroom stinked and no WiFi at all. Despite our complaints they left us without internet for our entire stay. Please also note, there is no roof top! Sad as it could be turned in a nice hotel.

No access to television channels unless pay TV. Shower over bath is dangerous, so not used. Not able to have a safe shower. Toilet spray did not spray any body part. Difficult/impossible to contact front desk. Noisy from street on 4th floor. Dirty floors - hair (not mine), dirt build up in corners, skid marks. Exorbitant mini bar prices. Not sure why it's an 'art' hotel and not authentic re 'being boutique'. Lots better options in Istanbul, so look around.

It is one of the best hidden gem I found in Istanbul. Istiklal caddeci is on 3 mins walkable distance where you would see all hustle and bustle. But once when you are at the Corinne Hotel, you will feel the peace and tranquility. I loved this contrast so much. Definitely, whenever I visit Istanbul, this will be my gateway 🥰
