Loved my stop here and the wine was just perfect. Not too sweet, flavorful and dry... just right! The charcuterie board was also the perfect amount of food and the variety of cheeses was a nice surprise. Whatever the one with the rosemary on it was is delicious! Would definitely come here again.

Just acceptable....nothing more. Update: Per your request, and exclusive of having a consulting agreement please note as follows: Facility: unique and intriguing Cleanliness: appeared to be well kept and clean Comfort: seating was extraordinarily uncomfortable and tables were a poor choice for a food venue Menu: stick with pizza, burgers, and beer as the ceviche was room temperature and less than desirable as to freshness. Made me wonder what else might be wrong in the kitchen. Staff: seemed responsive enough, but very unfriendly. By reference to other reviews, this does not appear to be an isolated incident. Based on management's response to my initial review, perhaps the wait staff is just following the lead of management and/or ownership as to how they treat customers. The Future: Anxious to see the next venue after this one fails.

Absolutely love this place! It’s perfect for a relaxing date night—with incredible food, a diverse wine selection, and unique live music. Michael is extremely knowledgeable, and the food is delicious! You won’t be disappointed.

One of the Boerne's destinations for the best Texas wines & craft beers . We enjoyed the charcuterie board - available on Sunday's & Monday's with great Red Wine. Sorry we ate most of it before taking the pic. 😁 Generous portions. Nice intimate wine bar. Speakeasy-inspired atmosphere with Lot's to Offer... "Tasting Tuesdays", "Flights for Beer -Wine- Mimosas & Sake" , Sake jello shots. Boozy ice cream and an Asian fusion cuisine. Service was spot on, friendly staff.

Ok overall experience. The menu from what was online versus in the restaurant was different. The food is sushi/Asian. The sushi rolls were ok, definitely not the best. The pork gyoza was my favorite overall. Good selection of wine and mimosas. Overall ambiance is nice.

Nice chill spot. The owner was very friendly and knowledgeable. The have flights of wine or mimosas. The Serina wine was my favorite. We will definitely be back.

I was expecting an Irish pub ... my wife and I were pleasantly surprised. We originally stopped to have a glass of wine and a beer. We ended up having the humus and a flight of beer. And mimosa. This is seemingly a laid back establishment. Don't be in a hurry. Chill. Sit back. Enjoy.

Yelp
You'd never think that a town like Boerne would feature a wine bar with such a diverse and excellent selection, you'd be wrong. Cork & Keg is one of those rare gems that somehow marries the warmth of the hill country with what is often snobbery among wine-os. It manages to be welcoming to the newly initiated (i.e. just 21) and the more seasoned patrons, providing something for everyone with a selection that boasts excellent vintages from both near and far. If you're lucky enough to sit at the bar you may find yourself with one of the regulars open for good chat over a glass of their favorite on the list, or inspired to try something new. Don't be afraid to ask the staff their recommendations, as they are both knowledgeable and friendly, making the wine list as approachable as they are. Don't be afraid to go for your own custom flight as there are too many good wines to miss out on. The best part is, if you're not a wine fan, they have other offerings including beer, sake, and mimosas! It's my favorite stop when I'm in town and I've added new favorites to the list as well as snagged bottles to take back out of state for others to enjoy.

Yelp
#1 must visit place in Boerne. I'm telling ya' - Go here! This is a continuation of my review of the Richter tavern. Walking up stairs, the owner pointed out old bricks he found and used during the bars renovation. At the top of the stairs, a massive mirrored turn of the century bar awaited with mixologists wearing kilts! Yes kilts. It was here I saw a tiny bourbon barrel and ordered an old fashioned. Truly delightful- I had 2. I learned how Kendal county was created by a man named Kendall because he brought Scotsman and sheep over and developed a highly successful economy with wool. He showed us black and white photos of the same mirrored bar we were drinking at 36 years apart and with the same bartender who apparently lived in this area bartending his whole life. My wife had a cucumber lily and I had a whiskey something chill that was slightly orange favored, unique cocktails you can only get here. I learned the bartenders were really good. One had worked in Vegas and the other cut his teeth with descendants of Makers mark who taught him his skills. At the time of this post, it was near May 4th so They also had a life size Darth Vader, stormtrooper in a kilt and R2D2 light. Guy encouraged us to visit the restrooms. Inside were old black/white pictures of convicts and small blurbs about their crime written in gold foil on a black background- kind of Noir. Also running was a projector showing silent films. There were at least 2 of them in different places. Guy told us about the exclusive membership on the 3rd floor, accessible by an artistically designed red door with various half circles to an elevator. And I don't think he could help himself -he offered to show us the 3rd floor. Now, both the 1st and 2nd floor venues are impressive, and the 2nd floor out charms the first in my opinion, but the 3rd floor is simply Mega-cool magnificent. Recessed lighting throughout, a large print of Wonder Woman's face stood out on one wall next to a long well stocked bar, and leather furniture of a forgotten but classic era was Uber comfortable. And they have an outdoor patio with a great view. They had a floor to ceiling wine shelf with different names of clientele that ensure their preferred beverages are in stock. This is how the other side lives and I was fortunate and honored to get a glimpse of it. If you're still reading this awfully long review, I'll give you a 1-word summary od this entire place. IMPRESSIVE. And since Darth Vader is here too, I'll add "Most Impressive" Go. Thank you Guy for making our 16th anniversary most memorable and enjoyable. We'll certainly be back!

Yelp
We were showing some family around town and decided to stop in for a drink! The place is small but quaint and let me tell you - they have an amazing selection of wines from all over the world! My aunt and I had a curated wine sampler and the men had a beer flight...$13 can't be beat! We also had some delicious appetizers like tuna nachos, shishito peppers, roasted Brussel sprouts and their delectable charcuterie board! Everything was simply spectacular, to include friendly and prompt service! This is now one of our favorite spots in Boerne and we'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Staff is always great and helps make a great selection on wine when you just don't what you feel like having. Food is perfect when having a few drinks.

Yelp
This food was simply amazing and delicious. The wine was exquisite. You also have to try the wine flight. The Pad Thai was scrumptious along with the shrimp ceviche. The sushi was very yummy and went very good with the soy sauce. Overall the whole place is adorable and vintage vibes. You and your family or friends should totally go here!

Yelp
We came here for a late lunch. Sylvia our bartender and waitress was awesome. Made us feel at home and very versed on drinks. We had a couple of appetizers and flight drinks. The place was warm and relaxing. Check it out for yourself!

Yelp
Great atmosphere with knowledgeable and very pleasant staff. My wife and I enjoyed a few wine flights and we enjoyed talking with our servers who were from the area and knew places to go, wineries to visit and the local vibe. This is really a cute place off of Main St tucked in, back by the bookstore. They offer food as well even though we did not get any. There are many wine options to choose from. Stop in and check this spot out.

Yelp
3 of us stopped here for lunch and wine. Great ambience and settings. The service leaves a lot to be desired. It felt like we were a burden to them. When ordering the custom wine flight, I asked what wines and her response was "whatever we choose". I had to flag the waitress down to order food, and there was only one other customer in there. Then after eating, I had to walk to the bar to pay because I was sick of waiting. While the food was good, definitely will not go there again based on the poor service.

Yelp
Pizza made me sick. Pad Thai looked old, and the chicken was a grey color. Parking is difficult. The servers stand over you, essentially demanding a huge tip for average at best service. Will not return.

Yelp
The experience was perfect! The menu was impressive and everything was delicious! Laid back and chill... just what we were looking for. Didn't get upstairs to the tavern, but the downstairs spot was great!

Yelp
While looking for a place in Boerne for lunch the other day on "Bring Fido"; the Richter Tavern popped up and my wife and I decided to drop in for lunch. We quickly punched in directions and found ourselves in the parking lot. Not having been before and not even knowing what we were looking for I walked into the bakery and asked where to order lunch. The attentive counter staff told me that they would be happy to place an order for me through the bakery or I could just walk up the breezeway and order from the Cork and Keg (which we did). We were greeted immediately and asked if we would choose seating. Cocoa; our bull-boxer was presented a pan of cool water, and my wife and I were presented menus and asked if we would like something to drink while we scanned the menu. Since it was still a work day for my wife, we went for iced tea (hers with lemon, and mine with lime). I've got to tell you; I've been in the food business for over 40 years and rarely have I ever had as good a glass of simple iced tea. It was obvious that the tea was fresh, the machine was clean and maintained and that the restaurant had systems in place to make this happen. You can tell a lot about a place by the beverages they serve and how they serve them. I am a Rueben fan so you know what I got. My wife ordered the BLAT, both with fries. The sandwiches were epic! This was, hands down, the best Rueben that I have ever had that I did not make myself! The bread was freshly grilled, the Swiss nicely melted, the kraut crisply bright and acidic, The House made dressing was spot-on, and the corned beef was delicately shaved and mountainously piled (not just in the center; a pet peeve of mine). The wedge-ish fries were hot and nicely crispy on the edges with enough seasoning on them that you did not have to reach for a shaker. I am sorry I didn't photo the plate. My wife's BLAT covered her entire plate and the half that we took home had two full slices of red, ripe, tomatoes on it so I'm fairly sure there were originally four! Plenty of bacon on the half but I don't know what was on the original whole, but it brought me to a place I rarely experience outside of my own kitchen where I always put at least 4 slices of thick cut bacon on a BLT or a Club. Our servers were genuinely personable and happy to serve. We were in and out in under 45 minutes in the middle of the day. We would highly recommend the Richter Cork and Keg. It will be a regular stop for us when we come to Boerne to visit my mother! Cocoa liked it, too! She got petted by everyone she met!

Yelp
50 / 50 experience. Saturday the 3 member staff was excellent. They were fast, efficient and knowledgable. They were so good we decided to eat upstairs Sunday night and that was a great experience. Monday in the wine bar not so much. We came in and were seated, the single server woman brought us wine lists then a party of 4 came in and sat at the bar. At that point we were ignored. The 4 were immediately served while we sat. Not for long as rude is not acceptable. My wife and I left. I'll tell my friends not to ever go on a Monday.
