Made a reservation at 5pm for 4 people to have a small Christmas gathering. We were completely unaware of the 2 hour table limit as it said nothing on the reservation. One gal got tied up at work so she couldn’t get there until 6. 3 of us ordered a round of drinks while we waited for her. After our first round of drinks the time to get ANYTHING increased drastically. We ordered food and another round of drinks not long after the last gal arrived. Food didn’t take terribly long, but getting drinks took forever and one girl wasn’t even drinking mixed drinks. You can imagine our surprise when 20 mins after we got our food (and were waiting on 2 drinks still), at 7pm ON THE DOT, a staff member who was not our server came up and asked if we needed anything else. When we said we were waiting on two drinks still he said he would look into it but then asked what time we were “there until”. We were confused and asked if there was a time limit and he said “yes two hours, and your reservation was at 5pm”. We were appalled. Some of us were still eating and like I said, still waiting on drinks! He left to get boxes for our food and when he returned he said “the manager said they are not making your drinks because it’s past your table time limit and they have a 7pm reservation for 9 people that is waiting. So we’ll take those off the check.” Mind you this party was “seated” at the table behind us, that only sits 4. So we were completely crowded and boxed in. We were completely shocked. Never once did the manager come to talk to us. Our original waiter came with our new check and said he took those drinks off and gave us 50% off one item “so we should be all good now”. I am definitely NOT GOOD. If you have a time limit you should have that posted everywhere so people are aware and maybe talk to your staff about proper ways to remind guests of this. This information would have been useful to know when we waited an hour to place our food order. We dug ourselves out of our seats, gathered our to-go containers and all the presents we brought in and went to another bar. NEVER going back here again. Best of luck to you and your business…you’ll need it if you keep this up.
