Corky's Brick Oven Pizzeria

Outstanding all around... definitely my new favorite local pizza joint. Superb crust, generous and full flavor ingredients, tried both the regular red sauce and alfredo. Both were good. The red has a sweetness reminiscent of a family owned Chicago thin crust pizza place. Go here, you will not regret it.

Me and a friend of mine or actually parked to walk to eat at Cheddar's right across the parking lot my but my friend had an idea to try something different and saw Corky's. We walked across the parking lot to walk into a cute quite Little Italian pizzeria. The food was fresh hot and super cheesy! They were missing a few items on the mean you do too delivery, but this place definitely did not disappoint after our very first experience.

We enjoyed a great meal at Corky's tonight. The service was great and the food was fantastic. We had a Corky's Special and a Margherita Bianca. Both had just the right amount of toppings and a nice little char on the crust from the brick oven. It's BYOB too so come prepared!

Asked the cook to surprise me and he did. Had an individual pizza that was so flavorful. Found out that the owner tweaks 60-70% of the toppings to add more flavor. You might think that would be over the top but it actually works. I can't wait to return. Friendly staff that treat you like a long lost friend.

Went for lunch around 1pm Thursday during spring break. Party of 5. It was busy but no wait. There was only the assistant manager and the cook running the place. She was super welcoming and helpful. We ordered the calzone(add sausage) , Margherita Blanco with sundried tomatoes, and The Guido. We got our food fresh and hot in about 20mins. Everything had such a unique taste. The crust was soooo light and crispy. You can taste the smokiness from the wood burning oven. The pizzas were well seasoned with roasted garlic. We will definitely be returning. We were very satisfied but didn't have that bloated heaviness from other pizzas. Love it! If you want more of a traditional Italian pizza this is the place to go! 😍😍😍

They aren’t fancy but they have the best pizza anywhere. You just can’t do better than a wood fired brick oven for making pizza. Their pizza is authentic Italian style pizza for a very reasonable price. I need to try their other pizzas, but I love the Queen Margarita so much I order it every single time.

Great tasting pizza Dining in is the best way to eat there Buuuut you can pick it up too which is still pretty good.

Delicious, wood-fired oven pizza! The Mom-and-Pop is a very basic pizza but it's our favorite.

Still loving this small business off of Little Rd. Between I-20 & 287 in Arlington. I enjoyed Sister Suzie's Surprise (garlic, pepperoni & spinach) and my husband enjoyed his Veggie Special with pepperoni added. Good Neapolitan pizza! Called on a Thursday evening for take out and it took about 15minutes for our order to be ready. Fast Friendly service.

I've lived in Arlington most of my life. As every Arlingtonite learns, there just isn't that many awesome spots to eat within city limits. Corky's is one of the exceptions. The traditional brick oven, fresh ingredients, and an amazing staff (big shout out to Andy who is the absolute coolest human you'll ever meet in your entire life) really makes this place something special. We've had birthday parties, dates, friend get togethers; really any occasion is perfect. I suggest going hungry because you'll want to eat 129 pizzas. That's right, not 128, but 129. They have boxes for leftovers too, don't worry.

That is the saltiest pizza I have ever had, called in a order 45 min before close and was obvious the employees were done. Terrible, will never go back!

Awesome brick oven pizza. When you're craving good pizza I highly recommend them. We always get the Mamma-Jamma. Staff is always friendly and they allow you to bring your own wine and beer. My only complaint is they only serve with styrofoam plates and plastic utensils. I would really prefer real plates and silverware for dining in.

Nice little place, convenient location in a strip mall with plenty of parking. Went for lunch and found a nice spacious dining area with plenty of tables. Everything appeared to be clean. Greeted upon entering and given menus. After deciding we ordered at the counter, paid, got our cups for self serve soda, and the pizza came out shortly. Pizza was delivered to the table. It was well cooked, and noticed the crust was cornmeal style on the bottom. The bottom did lack a little color but it was fully cooked. I just like my pizza to be browned on the bottom. We were there early for lunch so maybe the oven deck wasnt as hot as it would be later in the day. The crust and toppings were quality. The outer crust was plenty browned and delicious. I look forward to returning for dinner to see if the crust is more browned underneath. 4 solid stars!

Pizza is really good, thin and crispy how we like, BYOB, brought a bottle of wine which is great for me.

First time at Corky's. We arrived about 530pm on a Friday night. There were already a couple of families eating at tables. There are about 12 4-tops tables for dining. You go to the counter to place your order. I ordered the margarita pizza. We liked the sauce. It is a mild sauce and tasted very fresh. My friend ordered a chicken bacon mushroom pizza. She also liked the flavors. I prefer a crispier crust....liked the pizza bones.

Pizza was Amazing! Brick oven at its best! Cooked perfectly, sauce was great! Best pie I've had in DFW to date .

My mom and niece had never tried brick oven pizza before so I recommended Corkys even though it had been a very long time since I've been there as well. We all had a side salad while waiting on the pizza. The pie came out nice and hot . It was delicious . My mom said it was best she ever had lol.. I wish I would have asked for a well done pie though.. I like mine more crispy than chewy but I was highly satisfied overall.

Everything is good just don't go to the restrooms there. Staff was great and atmosphere was relaxed. Pizza was amazing.

Love Corky's Pizza! 3 star rating is because dining area is not great and don't like the fact that they use bare hands to make my Italian Salad. However pizza is always good and staff pretty friendly.

Corky's has been a family staple for so long now. We normally gravitate toward the Mamma Jamma, but my favorite is the lasagna calzone. Staff are always friendly and the restaurant is clean. BYOB

I was on a work trip and came to this pizza spot because i have been craving some brick oven pizza. I ordered a small salad and corky's special medium pizza. The pizza itself was delicious! Very little flop in the crust and you get that nice crispy burnt crust that you would expect from good brick oven pizza. A portion of the pizza was a little soggier than i wanted, but it was overall a good pizza. The salad was ok. It was a really tiny salad on a foam plate, only 3.99 so you cant expect Olive Garden bowl quantity but it was a little disappointing.

Corky's has been a favorite for many years. BYOB and enjoy the best pizza in town. The staff is very friendly.

I love an independent shop in my neighborhood. The pizza is both filling and tasty. This is a family run local restaurant that cares for everything they do. Most importantly for me is the consistency with both ingredients and finished product. Though I'm more of a traditionalist with pizzas, I still love the Aloha Kelley. Some may say pineapple on a pizza is sacrilege, but I advise you to try this one and tell me I'm wrong.

The brick oven pizza crust was the perfect density and consistency. The service was great, although the pizzas do take awhile to be prepared and cooked. Wait times obviously depend on how busy they are. The Corky's Special has quite a bit of onions- just a heads up in case you aren't super fond of them. Hubby thought the crust could have been crispier but I was definitely a fan. If you want some quality pizza, try Corky's.

Had no expectations for this place but was excited to check out this brick oven pizzeria. Essentially, no customer service. Granted, you place your order at the front and take your seat. Luckily, we were able to grab the last seating. Three families came in after us and stood around waiting for tables. There was a table for 4 that was filled with employees belongings, it wasn't until after the line died down that they accommodated guests by clearing that one table. Received our pizza about 20 mins later and was sadly disappointed. We ordered the Corky's special and Alfredo pizza. The mushrooms on the Corky's special wasn't cooked.

Hands down the best pizza in DFW. I've eaten at Frank Pepe's in New Haven and this is that style of pizza. I've eaten here since they opened and it never disappoints. Forget super expensive registered neopolitan pies that cost $30. These are better. The crust is perfect with a bit of char from the oven, the toppings excellent. Don't pass up this perfect gem of a pizzeria.

This is a great little neighborhood pizza place. Some of the best pizza I've had around here would recommend anyone to try this I know you'd love it.

My wife and I unfortunately have not been back to Corky's for close to 9 years. Why did we wait SO long? After munching down on the incredible "Corky's Special" we kept asking ourselves that question. Our pie was so delicious, the perfect char on the outside of the crust for pizzas being cooked in a 650 degree brick oven. Our only regret, we didn't order a medium so we'd have pie to take home with us. We promise we WILL be back soon to enjoy another fabulous pizza from Corky's.

Best pizza I've had in the area. People are great, in a old school environment. Get the Corkys special. Really good. I like that this is not a franchise. You don't get the same quality with all these chain restaurants. I hope people from the Mansfield area make the short trip to this location. There is not anything in Mansfield this good.

Love the pizza here, super charred crusts of the perfect thinness and always topped generously. Service is super quick and friendly. They even have reasonably priced single serve pizzas for those who just need to grab a quick lunch! Comfort food to say the least. I will say that this is not the place for an 3 course dinner. The cannoli is just okay and I'm totally willing to overlook that for everything else :)

This place is always good. I love the brick over taste. Great topping flavors. I had the meat lovers. I only ate half and now can enjoy the rest for dinner. I ordered a small but they do offer personal sized pizzas.

I'd had this place bookmarked for so long, and one Saturday, feeling fancy-free, I decided to stop in for a pizza. I wanted to see what this 700-900 degree brick oven fuss was all about! The menu is set up kind of funny. The specialties surely draw your eye, and if you are used to regular pizza joints, you might get fooled. Such is the case if the Mama and Papas Favorite. The picture in the Photos on Yelp that looks like a pizza with no cheese - that's it! Now you may be saying, "the description says it has cheese!" If you are looking for traditional American style pizza, look for one with MOZZARELLA or do a Build Your Own - all so fairly priced! So, back to the favorite. I ordered it not knowing what to expect, and what I got was FLAVOR! The description mentions a first press olive oil. Lemme tell ya - it's like the most olive-y Olive Oil you will ever have. The sauce is delicious! A bit over powered by the olive oil, but robust and garlick-y to say the least. My favorite part was the brick oven crust. There were super crispy parts, and one can understand why they warn customers that there is likely to be some char. I LOVED that though. It was fluffy but crisp crust, and I loved every minute of it. I got to-go, but I didn't see a sign that they serve alcohol - so that's likely a negative, Ghost Rider. However, they do have ample dine in space, and an incredibly friendly staff. Certainly worth a try if you want to try a unique pizza experience.

Pizza was a disappointment. First time visiting and I wondered why I was the only one in the place. Overpriced and not worth it.

I went to Corky's for a late dinner when I was in the mood for a good pizza. The staff was really cool and they seemed to genuinely enjoy working there. I really liked the atmosphere and the pizza was really good. I got a Margherita pizza with pepperonis. The bread was way better than I anticipated and their sauce was really good. Basil was fresh and pepperonis were also premium. Definitely coming back to try their other signature pizzas and telling others to check it out.

I've lived in Arlington for a long time. Corky's is THE best pizza in town. The brick.oven is the key to their crisp but chewy crust. It's just perfect. Toppings are grade A. They're a little stingy with their basil on their Margarita type pizzas, which after all have a single topping. But it's still excellent. I guess I could ask for more but I don't think they'd like that. Maybe it's a seasonal thing (basil only grows here in the summer). The Corkys special comes with a generous amount of toppings. Their plum tomato sauce that is offered for extra money is exceptional and I'm happy to pay it. Their lunch specials are very affordable but only offers cheese pizza. Not sure if you can add toppings or not. The lunch specials are personal pizzas so not as big as the small pizzas. Their small pizzas are huge. More than enough for 1 person so you have leftovers. All you need to do is set your oven to 425 and heat on one of the lower racks of the oven . Unlike other restaurants, it tastes just as good as the first time. Previously, they had a rather grumpy staff. Seems as though they've hired a couple of nicer folks and I felt like the new staff hates us less than the previous ones. Lol. Couple of other minor complaints: off brand fountain drinks that aren't the best; no beer! Which is both a positive and a negative. You can bring your own alcohol-if you can remember they don't serve beer; They give you paper plates and Styrofoam cups when you eat in. But the pizza comes out on a metal tray so I use that. A group would not be able to do that. Again, a minor point but... ; The place has zero atmosphere and, when we've been there, only a couple of people eating in, i.e., people would rather just pick it up and eat wherever. They do play music. Again, not factors that would keep me from eating there, just sayin. Cane Rosso pizza's don't come close to Corkys in my opinion. One other note. Ordered to go last week. Ordered 3 various pizzas and salad so it was an over $50 order. Went to pick up and they tried to serve a VERY burned pizza to me. First they tried to say that's how brick oven pizza looks. Uh....no. I've been eating there for many years. They did remake it but just a warning. Brick oven pizza is burnt on the edges only. Don't accept burnt pizza! Bon appetit!

Great pizza and highly recommend it to everyone. It takes a little while to get your pizza but it is worth the wait.

12/9/21 I stopped in for lunch, I've eaten here a few times over the years and have always enjoyed the brick oven pizza, today the pizza was just as good as before and the staff was very friendly but the place was very unsanitary, not sure what has happened if it's a new mgr or what but I was disgusted when I visited the mens room and then I started looking around in the dining room and it was filthy, what's really scary is if they would leave the areas the customers see like this then what's it like where we can't see? I won't be coming back. Especially with Covid issues these days most business take extra care with cleanliness.

By far my favorite pizza...anywhere! I highly recommend the "Double-Double"...double cheese, double pepperoni! They also have the best Stromboli too!

We just stopped here for lunch. We haven't been here in 4+ years because the quality is terrible and the owners are clueless. Our pizzas (2 of them) came out complete soggy to the point when you picked up a piece it ripped in half and was completely doughy. Do not recommend this place to anyone! The place is always empty which says all you need. The husband owner sits at home doing "marketing" yet no one is there. Terrible joint and amazed it's still open

Best tasting brick oven pizza I've had in Arlington. Unfortunately, they aren't sanitary. On my last visit, my partner used the restroom and said it was filthy. While he was in the restroom, I watched one of their employees take a kitchen towel that was almost black with dirt/dinginess and wipe the service counter and every table in the dining area. He never dipped it once in sanitizer solution. We are professional chefs. We love the pizza but can't return because of food safety risks.

This is the only pizzeria we will go to! The pizza is very very good, prices are good as well and the service is great and people are always friendly!

Not fancy, but real authentic old world Italian wood fired brick oven pizza. The only down side is after having Corky's you won't enjoy pizza from anyone else.

First, eat at the restaurant for optimum crunchiness and overall enjoyment. BYOB. Real brick oven with nice crisp and minimal flop. El Pres (Dave Portnoy) would approve.
