Yelp
I'd had this place bookmarked for so long, and one Saturday, feeling fancy-free, I decided to stop in for a pizza. I wanted to see what this 700-900 degree brick oven fuss was all about!
The menu is set up kind of funny. The specialties surely draw your eye, and if you are used to regular pizza joints, you might get fooled.
Such is the case if the Mama and Papas Favorite. The picture in the Photos on Yelp that looks like a pizza with no cheese - that's it!
Now you may be saying, "the description says it has cheese!"
If you are looking for traditional American style pizza, look for one with MOZZARELLA or do a Build Your Own - all so fairly priced!
So, back to the favorite. I ordered it not knowing what to expect, and what I got was FLAVOR!
The description mentions a first press olive oil. Lemme tell ya - it's like the most olive-y Olive Oil you will ever have.
The sauce is delicious! A bit over powered by the olive oil, but robust and garlick-y to say the least.
My favorite part was the brick oven crust. There were super crispy parts, and one can understand why they warn customers that there is likely to be some char. I LOVED that though. It was fluffy but crisp crust, and I loved every minute of it.
I got to-go, but I didn't see a sign that they serve alcohol - so that's likely a negative, Ghost Rider. However, they do have ample dine in space, and an incredibly friendly staff.
Certainly worth a try if you want to try a unique pizza experience.
