Cornaro Hotel Split

We had the most amazing stay at hotel Cornaro 28/9/25- 01/10/2025. It wasn’t just one thing in particular that left us in awe, it was many! We arrived to find a very pleasant and professional staff at check in who provided us with all the details needed to thoroughly enjoy our stay. Our room was extremely spacious including a very large bathroom with a walk in shower that had amazingly strong water pressure. The room was quiet with no sleep disturbances from other guests or outside noise. The breakfast buffet which was included had a vast assortment of food, something for every palate. You also had the option to order eggs/french toast etc. ala cart, also included. The morning cappuccino was delightful in the beautiful well kept garden area. The location was perfect for visiting Old Town and Diocletians Palace, both being a few steps away. It was also a great location to visit the Riva Promenade where you could relax, shop and dine. The roof top area/bar provided amazing views over the city of Split with a very friendly bartender. I wish we would have had more than three nights in this dream hotel and look forward to returning. The Croatian local folks were very friendly and nice, and I felt very safe both day and night.

We recently stayed at this property after finishing a sailing trip from Split and tremendously enjoyed our stay. The rooms were spacious, clean and the were furnished with a modern touch. The rooftop patio and pool were a welcome oasis after spending 5 days on a boat and so was the great gym and spa in the basement. The breakfast Buffett was also one of the most elaborate spreads we have ever encountered in a hotel. It was amazing all around.

I think it is a great Location. Short walk to sea and center of Split. Very close to everything you want to see. Room was very spacious with a big bathroom. Very clean and I did not hear anything from the street. I ate Breakfast there every morning and you have a large selection of things to eat.

Wanted to give 5 stars because of the helpful staff and great location. As I said, the hotel is in great location- a 5 minute walk to the inner walkways of Diocletian’s Plaza, fabulous restaurants and promenade, yet enough distance to allow for a peaceful night’s rest.||Reasonably sized room by European standards.||Plenty of hot water and good shower pressure.||Great air conditioning - easy to set, quiet, and room quickly cools down.||The hotel staff are great. The front desk personnel gave us an upgraded room upon arrival. When we requested extra towels and some breakfast items for our island hopping tour, Nika sent a nice canvas bag with 2 big beach towels and ordered bagged breakfast with our desired items. When our island hopping tour was cancelled Nika provided ferry information and restaurant recommendations for the island of Hvar. Thank you, Nika, for sending us to Dalmatino. It was fantastic!||Breakfast was included in our booking so the sweet Adrianna in the restaurant took good care of us each morning. No request was too much. Great, friendly attitude. || Drawbacks|Bed too hard attitude so slept poorly. ||Mold in shower head.||A lot of dust floating around the room. I suspect air vents need cleaning.||Good sized bathroom but little counter space for toiletries.

I stayed at Hotel Cornaro during October half term and absolutely loved the experience. The location couldn’t be better — right in the heart of Split, close to the Riva promenade, shops, cafes, banks, ATMs, and even a chemist, all within the pedestrian area.||||The hotel has two entrances, which made it really convenient to get around. My room (146) looked out towards the Diocletian’s Palace wall, which was a lovely touch of history right outside the window. The room itself was a good size, with a large bathroom and a fantastic stand-up shower. There were plenty of bathroom amenities, though I would have appreciated complimentary bottled water or milk to go with the kettle provided.||||Breakfast was a real highlight — a great buffet selection plus à la carte options. The breakfast staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, which made each morning a pleasure.||||Although it was low season, the hotel still had a warm, relaxed atmosphere. I was also offered a complimentary late check-out at 1pm, which was very much appreciated.||||The best thing about Hotel Cornaro is definitely its location and proximity to everything. I’d happily stay here again next time I’m in Split.

What an incredible and beautiful hotel, in the old town area of Split. Absolutely gorgeous and I wouldn’t hesitate in booking to stay here again if I come back to Split. |It was quite a last minute holiday for us, but so glad I booked this hotel. We took an uber from the airport and arrived about 30 mins later. |We were upgraded to Deluxe city view room which was stunning. |The decor is impeccable, the bathroom was gorgeous with a separate shower. We were also given a platter of fresh fruit in arrival which was really appreciated. Luckily our room was ready at 12 noon when we arrived although check in is at 2pm. So very grateful for that too.||The location is perfect to explore Split old town with the palace across the road! Can not fault the location, it was truly perfect. The Green Market is round the corner. |The breakfast was delicious, so much choice and variety and you can choose items off their breakfast menu too. The only thing I would like to see improved is the hot breakfast items were generally quite cold and barely warm, so that needs improvement. Also there is no toaster, although the staff will bring you toast if you request it. Also, no tomato ketchup was available when we asked for it. Minor point, but still. ||The staff were helpful, polite, answered questions but a special call out to the breakfast staff who always remembered what we like our hot drinks to be. They were very attentive snd keen to help. ||The views from the roof top bar are a great view point of the city so highly recommend taking visit up there. |Turn down happened at about 5.30pm ot 6pm with chocolates provided which were delicious. ||Do not hesitate in booking this place if staying in Split. Its absolutely beautiful.

I was on a trip in Croatia with a biking group that met at the Cornaro Hotel. I had a massage with Tea Curkovic at the beginning of my trip to help me relax after a long flight and to help me get a good night's sleep. On my way back to Split at the end of my trip, I had a second massage with her. I have a lower back issue and have massages all the time. Highly recommend. SHE IS THE BEST!

When you enter Diocletian’s palace, you pass into a zone where time and space are compressed. Ancient times are so close you can step into them, and every square meter is more full of life and lives than any other outside the city walls. What better than a spa day as you prepare to depart that condensated zone? My wife and I enjoyed a private sauna, jacuzzi and relaxation massage nestled in this hotel, courtesy the expert masseuses Tea and Mia. We walked out feeling re-energized, relaxed, and refreshed. A wonderful way to end our stay in Split! Thank you Tea and Mia; your hands are magic.
