When Cornbread first opened, I really liked the food. Over time, though, the quality has fallen off badly. Every time I go, I end up saying, I’m not going back.The prices have increased, but the food and service have gone way down. Something is always missing from my order, and I have to go back and deal with the ill mannered staff. This was my first time returning in about six months, and I honestly don’t know why I gave it another chance. The cabbage had decent flavor, but it was so mushy like it had been cooking way too long. And the fish?? Oh my goodness. 🤦🏿♀️ I ordered the two-piece whiting and ended up eating unseasoned fish jerky. Dry, tough, and completely flavorless. Not even salt. Don't believe me? I am beyond disappointed. This was the last time for me. I won’t be giving them my money again.
