Cornell AgriTech provides agricultural research, extension, and education to a wide variety of stakeholders in New York State.
Founded in 1880, it has continuously been a leader in research, with a particular focus within the fields of horticulture, pathology, food science, and entomology. The campus is over 700 acres and includes over 300 faculty, staff, and students working to protect and improve NY state agriculture.
A number of key innovations have been made here, notably the development of many important apple and grape varieties.
