It's a nice little spot to grab a coffee, or a light breakfast or pastry.
The food is nothing spectacular, but it's the quality that you would expect from a place like this.
The coffee drinks are good, although they do seem to be out of a lot of options a lot of the time. The drinks are also a little expensive based on what you get, this is one of the things that drops this place to a four-star review.
The staff here is helpful and efficient, although they aren't exactly friendly. It's not that they're rude, they certainly have never been rude or dismissive to me, they're just not overly friendly if that makes sense. A lot of the reviews of this place have said they could work on their customer service, like I said I've never had a negative customer service interaction but certainly nothing above and beyond.
There's a nice parking lot so you're not going to have to worry about finding parking. There's plenty of indoor seating, and the seating wraps around the side of the ordering counter so there is more seating than it first appears.
The only things that bring this location down from a five-star to a four-star are the following three items: The location itself, the price, and the lack of friendly / welcoming attitudes from the staff.
For the location itself, this is located right on Ventura boulevard in Encino. It's difficult to get in and out of the lot sometimes especially if there's traffic. It also depends on which direction you're trying to turn, and which direction you're coming to when you're entering the location.
As I said earlier, the food is good the coffee drinks are good, they're just a little expensive for what you're getting.
And last, I've never had any negative experiences with any of the staff members here, but like I said they're certainly not warm and welcoming and friendly like you would expect from a place like this.
