This was my very first time eating here, and I must say I was very disappointed. I was with my coworkers (party of 6), we were on our lunch break. We waited over an hour for our food and when it arrived my cheesy potato soup was lukewarm and the potatoes were very hard. My salad was not very good either. My appetizer was just okay. I had the garlic bread with marinara sauce. It was definitely not garlic bread. We all left very disappointed. My coworkers said that was the most disappointing experience they’ve ever had. The server started off okay, but failed to refill our drinks and check in on us. We were very kind to him from beginning until the end. My mother was very surprised to hear what I told her about my experience. The food also made my stomach upset. I’m a Carrollton native, but will never return to this establishment.

Affordable, delicious, and filling are my top 3 compliments to this place. I got a combo of 1/2 a soup portion and 1/2 a sandwich, specifically the tomato basil soup and the Hawaii 5-0 sandwich. I went with my dad here, and when he wasn't able to decide between the Corner BBQ and the Jellyfish sandwiches, our server suggested he get half of both, which my dad was a fan of (save for the barbeque sauce the shop uses, which my dad says tasted mustard-based; my dad greatly dislikes mustard.) So, helpful and efficient service. Next time I go here, I want to try the hot tea; the menu says they have many varieties, which sounds exciting to me.

The atmosphere is wonderful with all the eclectic designs whether items or paintings. It's just a fun place to meet a friend for a laid back meal.

My review is not going to be a surprise if you have read others. This place is a must try. Fresh bread. Amazing menu. Vegetarian options! Hard to decide what to get. Our table had to try some of the items previously recommended and we were not disappointed!! We also had a banana, peanut butter honey sandwich that was yum in a basket! Love the artsy, local feel. The staff were very attentive and corrected a mistake on my order so quickly. Impressive. Homerun for me would go again and again and again.

great experience! the restaurant is nestled in Carrollton Square, and has a super cool environment. the walls are decorated with local art and iconography of saints & Jesus. our server was incredibly kind, the food was super quick even considering the fact that we were in a large group. everything I ordered was hot, delicious and overall had an amazing experience here!

This is a unique little place on the square in Carrollton. Tucked away in a corner, this sandwich and salad shop is excellent. Amazing value for all the food you get. The "Rosemary's Baby's Daddy" and chef salad combo were delicious. The waiter was friendly and guided me through his favorites on the menu. If you are in the area, check this spot out.

Our waitress was so warm, caring and funny! Food was excellent! I was traveling through but really wanted to go back! Highly recommended!

This gem on Carrollton's historic Adamson Square has been a local favorite for over 30 years. Today was our first visit, and it did not disappoint. Jessica spoiled us by welcoming us to the 'family' and sharing how they pride themselves on serving the freshest ingredients in each dish. First we tried the renowned spinach & and artichoke dip with fresh bagel slices. So good, so fresh. Then we tried the incredible fresh made Calzone with sausage and onions. The best! We also sampled two different types of sandwiches filled with flavor on fresh pita bread. The menu is very unique, but after one bite, you'll quickly become a fan. Don't forget to savor the fresh tomatoe basil and the calzone's marinara sauce that my italian grandmother would approve of.

Great spot for lunch. Ton of different items to choose from. I did lunch salad combo and I enjoyed my salad. Portions are big and satisfying. Sandwich bread is soft and fluffy. We also tried their spinach dip with their bagel chips and they were delicious

I came here with my school for lunch on a senior retreat. The sandwiches were delicious! After my first one, I had to get a second :). The workers had a wellspring of patience and respect even when some of my classmates were disrespectful. The restaurant was a cozy oasis during a cold day, and I would come again!!

Very popular place in Carrollton. When we went it was very crowded and loud. I had to yell across the table just to talk. The walls are covered in various painting and artworks that provides a sophistication to the place I would recommend the spinach artichoke dip for the appetizer. It's always good paired with bagel chips. I got the half sandwich and soup. The sandwich was good and it felt like I was eating a healthy sandwich which I feel as though I should. The chilli however didn't really satisfy my needs. There were huge chunks of tomato which after a while I found myself poking around just to get to the black beans and the rest of the soup. Other than that it was a good experience.

The food was good, but I was expecting fresh tomato and sprouts on my sandwich. We ordered 3 sandwiches and couldn't tell the difference between them and they were not marked. One was even on pita bread and still couldn't tell. It was pretty much tuna and bread. So service was so nice and it looks like a great little neighborhood stop.

While in town on business my coworker and I had traveled all day and were starving! Stopped in here for dinner. First off I make better salads at home and it took forever for his pulled pork sandwich and my salad. Chicken had no seasoning and the whole salad was nothing great! He said he hardly had any meat on his. Their floor was filthy with used napkins, food, etc. the gal at the cashier was super nice but neither of us would come back sorry.

Picked up a to-go order. Difficult location for a quick in and out. Cute, eclectic and crowded. Friendly staff and pretty fast for as busy as they were.

Our waiter Lucas was amazing. He knew the menu and ingredients inside and out. His recommendations were spot on. His friendliness just added to the quaint ambiance of this cozy cafe. The mugwomp was delicious! The Weeping Willow perfect and the mushroom soup must be eaten with the delicious bread. We definitely recommend this place. If you are in this area you must try this spot. Ask for Lucas!

Locally owned! Open since 1994. Eclictic and funky atmosphere. Great sandwiches with fun names. My favorites are the Pita Frampton & Rosemary's baby's daddy & the Apple Jack.

A recent visit to Corner Cafe revealed significant changes. I visited on a Sunday afternoon around 2 p.m. The rather neglected bathrooms have been addressed with fresh paint and updated decor. Since the restaurant was quiet in the afternoon, the food was fresh, lovely, warm, and quick to be brought to the table. The service was attentive and kind.

We love CC!! It's one of our favorite places to eat on the square. The spinach artichoke dip is my absolute favorite. All of the sandwiches are great! We always have wonderful service and friendly staff.

The most delicious sandwiches (pot roast sandwich is my personal favorite), always great customer service and the coolest art all over the place to enjoy while you eat.

If you love soup and sandwiches, especially creative ones, this is the perfect place for you. We were in Carrollton and figured we'd explore the square and find a place to grab lunch. We asked a few people walking around where they'd recommend and everyone said to go here. So glad we listened. We both got the soup and sandwich combo with broccoli cheese soup. The soup was perfect. Good suze pieces of broccoli and not too cheesy. I wanted it taste like soup, not thinned down cheese sauce. Everything I hoped it would be. My husband got his go-to sandwich and he thought it was perfect. The thin focacia bread allowed the flavors of the filling to be the star. I got one of the creative sandwiches with granny smith apple slices on it. Loved the crunch and tartness that it added. Not sure when/if we'll be back in Carrollton again, but if we are, we'll be back.

Amazing local place! Just go and you will find out. Great people in excellent food. The location is funky with some cool art and a great atmosphere.

I'm a huge fan of the Gargoyle Sandwich; it hits the spot every time. The customer service is always friendly and happy to help. I like the artsy look of the restaurant as well. Affordable prices always a plus

The rudest restaurant in Carrollton. If you want to be treated like they're doing you a favor to eat there - go for it. Expect to wait at least 30 min for a soup/sandwich combo at lunch and the red headed waitress to sweat in your food!

If you are in Carrollton looking for a quick bite but delicious, you must come here. The spinach dip with bagel chips are a 10/10!

I stopped in based on the positive reviews. My colleague and I were greeted by Michelle, a few minutes after we seated ourselves at the table. She quickly got our drink orders and told that our service, Donny, would be right with us. Several minutes passed before Donny came to get our food order. His service was "just ok". The food was good. I ordered the Deluxe Turkey Sandwich on pita bread. The portion size was good. The ambiance of the cafe was very chill. I enjoyed seeing the artwork on the wall by the local artists. I would go back and ask for Michelle to be my server. She was personable and attentive.

The homemade focaccia bread was delicious! Every sandwich we got was amazing...our favorites were the Cuban and Black Bean burger. The pepperoni pizza was yummy too, made with a homemade pizza crust. Highly recommend!

I went here with some coworkers for lunch, and we weren't impressed with the quality of the food. There really wasn't anything special about any of the sandwiches we ordered. They were sort of dry and tasteless. The service was friendly, and I liked that I got to pick which hot tea I wanted out of a decent selection. However, we felt we could have gone to a grocery store's deli and picked out something better. It's an unfortunate feeling when you're on a much needed lunch break and have to go back to work unsatisfied. If I were to go to Carrollton again, I would not eat here a second time.

A great spot for a yummy sandwich and salad for lunch! It's awesome that they have healthy options and ingredients, especially the sprouts! I love the Mugwump sandwich but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu! Such a fun vibe here and cool art to look at every time. Also, GET THE SPINACH DIP WITH THE BAGEL CHIPS. :)

Corner Cafe' has the best veggie burger on the planet. The most comforting thing i can eat. Get an extra pickle, so that you have one with each half sw. With the fresh, warm focaccia bread, burger surrounded with fresh lettuce, tomato, onion, sprouts, and cream cheese...yum!

We stopped by this cafe for lunch after looking at some houses in the neighborhood. I got the Gargoyle and a soup. It was so good. The roast beef had such an amazing flavor. The sautéed mushrooms and onions were delicious. The soup was also delicious!! The waitress was so sweet and friendly. It's a really cute place. I love the painting of the sun in the middle of the restaurant. I would definitely recommend this place!!

I've frequented this place for 15 years. They always provide quick and delicious meals in such a cute setting. They are located on the square with free parking all around you. Must try the spinach dip with bagel or pita chips, hands down best dip I've ever had. All of their sandwiches can be halved and served alongside a soup. My favorite sandwich would probably be Rosemary's Baby Daddy. None disappoint. When I was pregnant I would call to make sure they had the veggie chili available, they always seemed to sell out of that quickly... I know why. Yum! After you leave, go grab a coffee nearby from Gallery Row or check out the other cute shops on the square. Love this place and so will you!

There where very long lines which is a good sign but took a while to get through. I absolutely loved their food and we ate there twice in our trip. Very pleased!

This isn't a fancy eatery but it has tons of character. Fun art on the walls to look at. The food is always good and reasonably priced. You can also sit outside and enjoy the weather. I really enjoy eating here.

A huge menu with an excellent variety of foods. One bathroom is the biggest downfall, one stall, unisex, which opens to the whole dining room. The best cakes in town! Enormous slices of all types.

I came when it wasn't too busy and had a really nice experience. Great food and quick, friendly service. I'm really impressed with the hustle in the kitchen too--will be back!
