I wanted lunch and decided to check this place out. Fairly crowded for an early lunch and everyone (except me) seemed to be regulars. Beertender/server was friendly and the place was a typical corner bar. It took almost 25 minutes for my food to come out. A burger and fries. People who came in after me got food before me. Here’s the breakdown: Friendly staff +1 star; good food +1 star; good conversation with other customers +1 star. I probably won’t go back. Competition for dollars is fierce and there are places with just as good food with far faster service

Great place!!! I ordered the 'Meat and two' - blackened chicken and two sides of green beans. The chicken was well seasoned and tendered. The green beans were like any typical American restaurant side of green beans, but they were still delicious! They have a nice big menu with a good variety of items on there. The parking is a nightmare. Try to come before or after lunchtime (same as dinnertime).

Found this place by accident. Food was tasty, drinks cold. Service was awesome. They actually have a really good menu for a " Pub".

First time visitor. Lively atmosphere with football games on the TVs. Staff were prompt, courteous, and helpful. Food came quickly and was of good quality. Interesting beer selection which was enjoyable.

Corner Pub Franklin is our "kitchen". We eat there 2-3 times per week. The waitstaff are stable, friendly and take pride in knowing their regulars. Oscar is our man bar man. He is a top notch bar tender and knows everyone who comes in (or does by the time you leave). The food is good and well prepared. It's consistent and definitely several steps above "bar food". Mondays are "smoker day" with special selections of smoked ribs, wings, pulled pork, chicken, etc. Well worth the visit. We love visiting on game days.

The food was fine. The service was bad. We could count a number of staffers milling about, beating in the window to hand signal cohorts in the parking lot, folding napkins, but most annoyingly, standing and talking to each other in groups of three or more and yet we struggled to get anyone's attention to place an order or get refills. Maybe we caught them on a bad day, but be prepared for a potential wait in your schedule.

I had the Rubin sandwich with chips, one of the top 5 rubins I've ever had. They grilled the rye bread with butter to a wonderful crunch. Could have had more cornbeef for the price, nevertheless still worth the price.

Good pub food as well as traditional meat and three. Service is personal, friendly and responsive. Menu selections are very robust. Relative small size venue with tables, booths and bar seating. Extensive beverage selection from the bar. Sports bar vibe — five different NFL games on Sunday afternoon. Parking could be an issue during peak times.

Quick review- stopped in for lunch. Friendly greeted. Immediate seated. Timely served. Reuben Sandwich and Buffalo Chicken Wrap tasty and sizable portion. Comfortable sports bar ambience. Key during busy lunch time served and out in 45 minutes.

Everything's gone downhill in our last two visits after going here for years. Service has remained good and the dive bar ambiance remains. What as changed, and dramatically changed, are the escalating prices, the smaller servings, and the quality of the drinks. Gone are the things that make a dive bar fun. We're moving in to greener pastures. Corner Pub must think their customers have suddenly become wealthy and don't care about price and quality. They've forgotten who their customers are.

Great place for casual dining and drinks. Kind of a sports bar vibe but not too loud and obnoxious. The food is good and the staff is friendly. It may take a bit longer wait time for food but since everything is prepared to order it's worth it. Prices are quite reasonable and the drinks are well made. We travel to Franklin frequently and it is our spot for lunch. Oh and it is non smoking and kid friendly!

This is that place. On our first visit we sat at the bar and everyone knew everyone. Very welcoming. What a great feeling. The ambiance is nostalgic with plenty of flat screens. Good hamburgers. Decent Philly. Word has it the soups are amazing. Behind the bar, Megan works her magic. Looking forward to our next visit! Only con is the parking lot is small. Needed to park on Columbia Ave.

Good chicken tenders and fries! Friendly service and good prices. The football game was on. Just a simple pub, and that's what I wanted.

We ordered online and it took them an hour to make our food when it said it was supposed to be 20. There was no lettuce or sunflower seeds in the quinoa bowl just making it a giant bowl of grains and the taco salad was inedible the beef was heavily burnt and had no seasoning. The tomatoes were low quality and they barely had any cheese or lettuce.

In the mood for a good hamburger this is the place. Nice beer selection. Always sports coverage on the tv. Corner Pub is a casual, neighborhood go-to place with a simple sports bar vibe.

Great efficient service. Food good for being a local pub. Variety in selections. Would return in the future. Very cozy.

I'm not one to complain, but I will call it like I see it though. First off service was exceptional. My waiter was great and the staff seemed very friendly. My feedback is based on stocking and food alone. Wings were mediocre at best. Flavor was good, and the cook on them seemed perfect, but the meat was dry, and like they were clay. Very weird. The stocking issue has to due with beer. Ordered a Dos Equis on draft, nope. Which I understand, not many places have it on draft. Dos Equis bottle, nope! Ok, how bout Modelo? Nope! Pacifico? Nope? Any Mexican lager? Nope? 24 tabs, and nothing Mexican. Waiter asked "How about Corona in the bottle?" Sorry just not the same. To me, Corona is to Dos Equis like Old Milwaukee is to Michelob ultra.

Food is great, day time service was awful. On the patio with my dog, didn't get checked on once then server brought the check bc her shift was up the whole twine there was maybe two cars in the parking lot... by example, cinco de Mayo, on a the patio, I was checked on multiple times and they brought water for my dog

The Corner Pub has good bar food but it' has a great atmosphere. My brother m-in-law wants to go there every time they visit.

Excellent service, excellent food and great ambiance! Nice big TVs too! We had a party of 13 that they accommodated last minute. Everyone enjoyed their meals.. grilled chicken, burgers, Rueben, salmon. Creamed corn was amazing!!!

Stopped here for lunch on a rainy afternoon today. They had no problem handling a group of 5 people. We were seated quickly. The menu offers a nice selection of options. I had the fried catfish in a "meat + 2" plate. It was delicious. Sides: Onion Rings and Cream Corn. The onion rings were good, albeit heavily breaded. The cream corn was FANTASTIC - quite savory. Very well made. My coworker had the "amazing" steak and biscuits. Fries were crunchy on the outside, warm and soft inside. Catfish was light and fluffy. Other coworkers wants to add, five adults eating meals came to under $100 - even with a 20% tip. It is not just yummy but affordable. If I lived here, I would certainly be back often.

Meg the bartender was amazing and made great recommendations on food and beer. The server ally was also so friendly and helpful. Great food great service with a cute local vibe

Great service.. Enough said. Took the family there... Kiddos were happy, prices are reasonable, and it really feels like a "corner tavern". I can't imagine what it's like to be a restaurant own these days. But if you provide good service, fresh/hot food, then you will always have a repeat customer from me.

Killer burgers and the Buffalo chicken sandwich is fire! Local management makes this spot a great, regular visit.

A buddy and I hit this place up on the way back from a conference in Alabama. We actually had intentions of eating at another place across the way, but they had an hour long wait. We walked in and were greeted & seated quickly. While I did not order any beer I am absolutely positive that this place has a pretty impressive beer menu. I only mention this because I find it surprising that they do not carry any form (fountain w/free refills or bottles) of root beer. When I asked for root beer, our server told me that they have Dr. Pepper...sorry kid, it's not the same thing, not even close. I ordered the buffalo chicken sammich (fried of course, because only knuckleheads order it grilled) with blue cheese dressing. My buddy ordered a French Dip and our food was brought to our table surprisingly fast. My sammich was stacked high with a thick crispy fried chicken breast, lettuce, tomato slice, and some pickles. It was really good, the buffalo sauce was not too hot (even though I am a big fan of the heat) and the chicken breast was moist and juicy, breaded very well too. My buddy said his French Dip was good as well. I understand the need to serve frozen fries, but I just think that so many places would benefit from serving up some fresh cut fries...other than the lack of root beer on the menu, this is my biggest complaint. Overall, this was a good visit.

Definitely not any place to visit. Food was bland and tasteless. Ordered the wings and onion rings. Wings taste like chicken-Great- but when I ordered Carolina gold was told spicy sweet. Yep sweet like sugar no spice. Do they know what salt and pepper are? Oh wait it's on the table. I have to use them!! ordered their "King" burger. Menu said handmade. Hahahahaha they must have smelt hand made in a machine somewhere far far away and frozen. Cause I make burger all the time from scratch. And theirs makes McDonalds burger taste like filet mignon. When I wanted something else the GM came over and argued with me about the meat. It's horrible and disgusting. So skip the food. And don't let them tell you that their food is hand made. It's all pre order food that's reheated

We had high hopes for this spot based on some other reviews but overall we were not that thrilled. Food was okay.

Good country cooking with all the options your heart can desire! A real laid back atmosphere and friendly wait staff. I love old school decor and this place gave me that retro feel with all the antique advertising on the walls from days past. I came for lunch with friends and had meatloaf with greens and green beans. The meatloaf was fantastic, well season and moist. My green beans were flavorful and tasted like my granny used to make them. The greens had that certain pork added taste that is certainly required. To top it off, the sweet tea is exactly what I needed on a hot summer day. Literally the perfect soul food meal. This place has lots of other options if you don't want soul food but honestly who would turn this down?

We've been dining at Corner Pub for many years now. They have really good burgers and fries and I love that they give veterans 20% off.

Foods great drinks are great. You need to apply for a second mortgage to afford it though.

We have only ever ordered chicken tenders (both fried and Buffalo) and cheeseburgers! The chicken tenders are AMAZINGGGG!!

It's a pub? Beer and beer food. Get the French Dip! Real "Cheers" feel for sure. Do your birthday party here. You'll have fun.

We've been to the Corner Pub about a half dozen times over the past few years. The food is average at best, rather hit and miss, but we liked the place for their large selection of cold beers. It's often difficult to find a place with reasonably priced domestic draft these days. Yesterday my wife and I had a meat and 2 and wings. She ordered a draft domestic and I a porter. The wings were excellent, crispy and juicy as they should be. My Catfish was tasty but dry. The only issue I had was when I received the check and saw the price of the porter at more than the cost of my single meal order. It was a good beer but not that good. The issue I had was the fact that the beer prices are not posted anywhere to be found. I understand the selection changes regularly, which is a good thing, but they need to warn customers of the 300% higher beer price of certain selections. I mentioned it to the waitress who was extremely nice but offered no reconciliation other than a smile.

I'm new to the area and this was the first place I visited after a long day of traveling. It's now become a "Cheers" place for me. The food is great, the people are nice and welcoming and I always look forward to going there

Food was great!! Today was the first time I've come here for lunch and wound up coming back for dinner. The only problem was the service. We were told they were backed up because to go orders. They have lost my business, when I come to your establishment and you make me sit for 30+ min to wait on my food while you make to go orders, I'm done. Stinks because the food was good. Guess I should have ordered to go.

Friendly and helpful staff. Very relaxed atmosphere during Monday Night Football! Took wife and kids and everybody enjoyed their meals.

Drove down to franklin to hear our favorite band play. To no fault of the establishment, there was a group of families exchanging presents. The 8 children sat away from the parents across the restaurant and the parents basically ignored the kids. Amongst the gifts was a football which was being tossed around the restaurant. I understand the child's excitement BUT someone stop this kid! They were immediately next to the band and their expensive equipment....a little courtesy please, parents! We ordered,and the kids eventually left. We had the cheese bites which were tasty. Our friends arrived and they ordered the fried green beans. Also tasty. The group ordered burgers. Mine was the blue burger. Very faint blue cheese flavor, maybe some crumbles would have enhanced the flavor. The burger was nicely cooked and fresh. The door is in the middle of the restaurant and no screening to shield the patrons from the cold air coming in. With a cute little screening, I believe that would have helped. Service was friendly and prompt.

Been there twice and my oh my..... the place just can't get its act together for dinner..... waited 45 minutes for a simple hamburger nothing extra and they couldn't pull it together...... just saying.....'maybe you have to know the owner or some such.....

So good. Passed by this place many times and there's always lots of cars in the parking lot. Finally decided to go in and we were very pleased. Large variety in the menu and friendly wait staff. The food was vey good. Charming atmosphere. We will be back soon!

Great service and food. And a good selection of draft beer. And probably the best part of Corner Pub is Bob. Bob is a legend, give this guy a raise!!

Love this chain, but carry out was delayed upon picking up and food was cold. The fries and appetizers were mushy. Normally have good luck at other locations, but this one unfortunately disappointed.

So we showed up on Tuesday night and lo and behold it's Bingo Night! The 40-something in me rolled his eyes while the 8-year-old in me was marking off numbers like he was working out the formula for the perfect gummy bear. The 8-year-old won out on this night. The atmosphere was laid back and clean. There were regulars who obviously were known by name. Just a really cool feel, especially when it doesn't look like much from the outside. As for the food, I had the Southwest Smokehouse burger (don't quote me on the name). Dare I say it was as good or a better burger than a certain porcine-named drinking establishment down the street? The meat was well cooked and seasoned, with just enough condiments to add layers of flavor without leaving half of them on the plate after you're finished. The homemade chips were a little on the greasy side but still delicious. The service was prompt and friendly and the good arrived quickly. Overall a fun night after a hard workout and definitely recommended.

You wouldn't know it from the outside but this place is outstanding! I had the ribeye, my wife had the chopped steak and my mother in law had the fried chicken. Everything was fantastic!! The meat and three offers lots of options. This is definitely one of those places the locals try to keep secret. Well the secret is out now!!

Another great meal. My daughter was in town and we were looking for a good meal where we could visit. Corner Pub has been great every time we go in. Cat and Bella were polite and very helpful getting us seated and taken care of.

Had a nice fun lunch at the bar. Steamers were good (onions perfect) and the onion rings were super good. Bartender was cute and nice. Love the laid back vibe.

Stopped in for late (2pm) Sunday lunch. Sports Bar atmosphere with about a dozen TVs. Great service (granted, it wasn't crowded but it wasn't deserted either.) About two dozen beers on tap, plus wine and other drinks. Courteous waiter and bartender. Fried Shrimp Basket was just OK (this isn't a "seafood shop") - coating fell off, but it was fried correctly. Steamed Veggies were pretty limp - they appear to have sat for a while. Pit BBQ Sandwich was very good ... tender, moist, flavorful with plenty of smoke; served on toasted bun. Slaw on top - creamy and just the right amount for the sandwich. Turnip Greens were pretty simple (just one of about 13 sides.) Burgers looked really good--cooked to order. Will try one next time I stop by. Worth a visit. Kids' Menu has a nice selection of dishes and it's extra-reasonably priced by today's standards.

I'm a sucker for a great meat and veggie place. We've been here for supper once and I order take out for lunch frequently. I cannot bring myself to order anything but the meat and vegetables even though they have many other options. The country fried chicken and gravy is delicious southern comfort. The meatloaf and chopped steak with onions and mushrooms are equally amazing. It all depends on my mood but everything is wonderful. My favorite sides are the mashed potatoes and corn but they are all good. The pub atmosphere is laid back and comfortable. The perfect place for a burger. I must get around to trying their burger soon. There is also outdoor dining for when the weather is cooperating.

Hands down one of the best pubs in the area, service is exceptional, the people running the joint are wholesome awesome people, I've been here twice now and have never been let down, the food options are all great, I recommend the chicken and biscuits or the buffalo chicken sandwich. Great place for a late night dinner or a day spent watching sports with friends, happy hour prices are also great. Would recommend to anyone.

I never write reviews but this was a must! Their food is incredible and cannot be beaten! They have southern comfort/ bar food that will knock your socks off! My personal favorites are their New York Rueben, Chicken & Biscuits, & all of the burgers! If you have not been here you have to try it! Plus the service is outstanding-- they are so personable and kind (especially this one host if you're seeing this I think you said your name was Jordan, you were super hot)! Overall though this place is a 5/5 for me, definitely recommend!

They are super friendly. Great clean place. It's also kid friendly. The fried food is fine. I tried a burger and didn't like it but I would still go back and try something else. They need more parking. Parking is limited. When we arrived the Parking lot was full and the place was half empty. The positive stand out quality was the cleanliness and the friendly service.

I want to start by saying I have never written a review. I ordered Corner Pub from the Columbia Ave location from UberEats. It took forever to get it, which has nothing to do with the restaurant. However, I ordered the nachos for my son & he is very particular about what he likes...only chili & cheese, nothing else. When we received the order, not only was it piled high with everything on it, but it was directly on top of it. It was a gloppy, soggy mess. I never call & complain about anything, but it was inedible & I thought that they should at least know that the packaging was wrong even if they had gotten the order right. I called & talked to the nicest man on the phone. He made another order for my son, packaged it correctly, & then had one of his staff members DELIVER IT TO ME!!!! In a time when customer service is dying, this person still understands how very important it is!! I will certainly continue to support this restaurant!!!

Waited 10 minutes and no one ever greeted me at the table. I was even seated by an employee. They weren't even busy. This is definitely not one of the good locations. Decided to spend my money somewhere else.

In my recent trip to the Corner Pub we were seated close to the door and forgotten about. After 15 minutes we asked the young man who seated us for a server. After more than 5 more minutes of being ignored we left. The prior visits had very slow service but at least they got around to serving us. We've liked the food but not sure we will go back. It's not easy to get past being neglected.

Can't go wrong on the menu here! We visit often, with and without our kids. Love the buffalo streamers (sliders), and the blackened chicken! Great fired green beans and fried pickles.

This place is way over rated and dingy! The greens had absolutely no seasoning and they tasted very bland. The corn bread and fried okra was extremely dry and had no taste.
