Gee Goes To The Cape

Google
Move over chipotle! This burrito is 👑 now! Wherever you get your burritos, it better be from The Corner Store in Chatham! Line out the door no matter the season! Fresh food, flavorful, and filled with whatever you choose! Food never disappoints here! Burrito for breakfast or lunch, it doesn’t matter cause this place is AMAZING! Go grab one. And once you do, you’ll ditch the Chipotle’s of the world. Best burrito on Cape Cod and in MA. Hands down. 🌯

Katie Miller

Google
Ordered breakfast burritos. I liked how customizable they were. However, they are small and pricey. 3 breakfast burritos were over $30. We had breakfast burritos in another location which had an option for a jam sauce, which is something that is needed here!

Mark Anibal

Google
breakfast burrito is da bomb. love the lemon pepper cod for lunchtime burritos. might I suggest expanding it with more seafood like shrimp and scallops in with the cod. hmmm good. big fan of the corner store Chipotle can't compete here.

Mallory Goerges

Google
We came in breakfast burritos this morning (9/15). While handing the mid-twenties male cashier cash for our transaction, a $50 bill & a $10 bill, we witnessed him crumpling up the $50 bill in his hand and place it in his pocket. Although our breakfast burritos were wonderful; it was unfortunate to experience such disrespect at a small, locally owned establishment. We hope sharing this brings awareness to management/owners that this employee is dishonest and not fit for his position.

Google
This place is lots of fun and the burritos are delicious. The panini are great too. I have the specials page bookmarked for here and the Corner Store in Orleans so we can plan our visit. The buffalo chicken is good but the Jamaican jerk pork is worth a special trip. There are only a couple of stools inside and few places to sit outside on the porch but it always works out.

John Lang

Google
Way too expensive for a tiny burrito. Portion sizes used to be triple the size. Was genuinely shocked at how small the burrito was, when I paid 20$ for a CHICKEN burrito.

Sean Valente

Google
Great food but the portions are way too small for the price. The scoops should be scoops not pinches of food. Once they have fixed that the place is five star worthy.

Google
What a great spot. I was over at Forest Beach and got a little hungry the idea of a hot sandwich just sounded great. I zipped over to the Corner Store and got a Turkey Panini that was ready really fast. Got to go back to the beach and have a great sandwich and enjoy the water view. Just a word of caution. Be very carefull at the intersection out front I have accidents there before. Great way to make your day at the beach complete.

Kim S.

Yelp
Love the buffalo-ranch burrito, but love even more when you get to create your own by selecting your own ingredients! Always fresh, always good!

Elisa F.

Yelp
You wouldn't know what was inside this shop if you were just driving by. Loved the build your own burritos with tons of toppings! A little on the pricey side with some of the additions - guac & sour cream were both $1 extra. But the burrito was a great size and plenty filling. Make sure you try one of their Whoopie Pies too! The strawberry shortcake one was incredible! A must stop for a quick breakfast on the Cape.

Allie D.

Yelp
I wish I could give 2 separate reviews because the food 10/10. Our breakfast burritos and breakfast bowls 10/10, amazing! The chipotle aioli is chefs kiss. The easiness of ordering online, 10/10! But I would give the woman at the pick up counter definitely NOT a 10/10. She just was unkind simple as that. I walked out to the car and said to My husband, I love the food but could do without the rudeness at pick up. Luckily some nice worker handed me my bag and iced coffee and the other woman remained unbothered by her rudeness.Maybe I caught her on a bad morning? Who knows. We will be back because the food was 10/10 but will just keep it moving next time and not try to Be friendly.

Jean P.

Yelp
We loved our first visit to the Corner Store! They were just changing over from breakfast to lunch when we arrived at 10:55 am. The staff was attentive & prompt. There were so many enticing menu items and they have gluten free wraps!! We tried the Asian Chicken burrito and the BBQ pulled pork burrito. Both were outstanding! Fresh ingredients and great flavor combinations. All of their bowls & burritos are customizable and they offer a wide variety of toppings & condiments. We are looking forward to returning and trying additional menu items.

M M.

Yelp
Our lunch was delicious and a big improvement from last time. The line moved fast and the bowls and burritos (chicken and sloppy joe) were yummy. These are not big portions, but very satisfying. It's also on the expensive side, but not for the area. We'll be back!

M C.

Yelp
Still a little pricey, but great food. I esp love that they have pickled onions--I don't see them often enough. Whoopie pies were disappointing tho.

Kristin U.

Yelp
Have been here a couple of times. Mainly burritos (or wraps) made to order, done assembly line style with lots of protein and fillings to choose from. Basic steak and chicken for more traditional taste, the typical guac, pico de gallo and other items like mushrooms and spinach. Also had breakfast burrito'is (bummed no chorizo but black beans a solid second choice). Also, the biggest Whoopie pies I've ever seen. Quick and freaking delicious.

Chris B.

Yelp
I was on my way to help my Family Landscape there Condo, when I stopped by this place for Breakfast this Morning, my favorite place to get a Breakfast and Lunch Burrito, I got a Steak Burrito with everything on it...so delicious and so filling, if your ever in Chatham next time stop by here and get your fix on, it's worth the $$$$$. You will be happy with a great place to wake up to.

Kenny D.

Yelp
The service was just average but the burrito was pretty good. I especially liked that it was Chipotle style and you got to pick your toppings. I had a steak and egg burrito and an espresso whoopie pie. The pie was just average but I also tried a carrot cake one that was much better. For a grab and go place it wasn't bad at all.

Alissa D.

Yelp
SO.GOOD. We love stopping at the Corner Store when in the area. Love the create your own burrito or burrito bowl option. They have fresh ingredients to add to your burrito. They even have a gluten free burrito shell. The Whoopie pies are a must get even if you have to save it for later! Staff is friendly, and highly recommend if you're in a rush to order ahead online.

Bryant S.

Yelp
Top notch burritos. Absolutely delicious! I loaded mine up with pretty much everything and it was great. The ice coffee was perfect! What a gem right down the street from our rental . Will definitely be back here!

Brittany K.

Yelp
They offer a ton of variety of sandwich "wraps," but I wouldn't go in expecting a "burrito." The chicken, steak, and pork are always delicious. The breakfast wraps are good, but I prefer the breakfast "bowls"! Do yourself a favor and get a chocolate chip cookie, too -- huge and delicious!

Laura F.

Yelp
Don't be deceived by the name! The corner store offers more then just coffee and snacks. Best breakfast burrito I ever had, a wide variety of toppings and fresh and healthy options. This quick stop never fails to satisfy my hunger at breakfast AND lunchtime!

Linda G.

Yelp
Wow. So we got take out. 2 burritos and a Cesar salad with chicken and bacon. Salad didn't look like much and after I took a bit of each of the burritos I was pissed I'd ordered a salad. Salad was really good. Big chunks of chicken, homemade croutons, big shaves of parm, big pieces of bacon and the homemade dressing was very thick so I was super glad it was on the side, since very little was needed. I ate every single piece. It really was one of the best. Wish I hadn't eaten it out of the hard cardboard container and took the time to put it into a real bowl. Really good. As good as it was, the burrito was better. I had bites of 2 burritos. I don't know what were in either. They were different tasting. Both were just so good. Just really the best. One was build your own and the other was a preconfigured. I will be getting a burritos next time. We were so hungry when ordering that we ordered dessert, too. 2 whoopies and 2 cookies. I don't eat oatmeal raisin cookies but it got rave reviews. The toffee cookie was super. Big chunks. Big cookie. Maybe 7-8" across. Very good - more crunchy than chewy. Whoopie pies we got a carrot that was gone before I got a bite, again I heard it was great. The traditional was great, too. Even worth the incredible price. High prices are worth it to me when the place bakes it all from scratch for me. That is ok with me. Great place, good cooks, and they make everything like I do. This is a great place. We are here less than a week, but we are getting take out from here again!

Stephen A.

Yelp
I'm giving 5 stars for the Whoopi pies and Whoopi pies alone. The classic is amazing. Filling is not to sweet and the cake is never dry. The pie is enough for 4 people to split. They also do pumpkin, carrot cake and a peanut butter all amazing. As a self exclaimed Whoopi pie professional with 56 years experience 5 stars is not enough. This is the gold standard for Whoopi pies. Oh and I heard the foods pretty good too. Fresh chipotle on steroids my daughter calls them.

Rachel J.

Yelp
Absolutely incredible food with an upbeat crew of workers with the building being an old-school mercantile vibe. Always leave there with a smile on my face and a full stomach!

James M.

Yelp
Good Burritos, don't enjoy the greens getting melted inside - would rather a side salad. Busy at lunch time so no spot to use the bathroom, had to take one but held it. That was before the beans so we good. In a nice spot, inside was a country side spot. Parking a bit limited. Will do it again

Nancy H.

Yelp
Everything here is amazing and it's such a cute stop on the Cape. You must get both a burrito and a whoopie pie. I love their breakfast burritos most but you can't go wrong with any of them. Be prepared for it to get busy, specifically on the weekends in the summer. Still worth it.

Corinne T.

Yelp
The burritos are really delicious and full of whatever filling you wanted them and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Breanna S.

Yelp
Awesome breakfast burrito loaded with a ton of veggies . So good! Super filling , I was fueled up for a beach day!

Cape C.

Yelp
$18 for a really simple steak and rice burrito with three little, over cooked pieces of meat, and undercooked rice. Never again.

Banner C.

Yelp
The corner makes great burritos and I have loved this place for 9+ years. Over the last couple years it's seemed like the portion sizes have gotten significantly smaller and the prices have just climbed. With food prices high all over Chatham, Corner Store used to be one of the best bang for your buck lunch places in town. A place where every burrito was oversized. It seems like most people who come here have no problem paying close to $20 bucks for a good burrito (myself included), but the days of big corner store burritos seem to have ended.

Mo B.

Yelp
* Covid 19* I had heard GREAT thing about this place. People swear by the burritos and I'm always on the hunt for a good Mexican place! This place though is NOT that, honestly I don't know why they even have Mexican as part of there menu. I got a chicken burrito and my husband got a steak burrito, nothing crazy. When I tell you there wasn't any LIME,GARLIC,CILANTRO,CUMIN or anything similar to the mexican palate in my burrito, I was very upset. It was just a plain chicken wrap with no seasoning. I was struggling to even find salt and pepper. Not to mention we spent almost $30 on these 2 " burritos" this place should be ashamed and called out for cultural appropriation for even labeling the food they serve as mexican. Would never return. Would never recommend anyone here.

Jenna P.

Yelp
I don't eat gluten but my friends raved about the woopie pies!!! They look so good! They also have a great selection of locally roasted coffee and bottled beverages like Nantucket nectars. The burritos are excellent. They're set up like a subway sandwich bar. You can also have it made in a bowl if you're gluten intolerant (as I am). They have breakfast and lunch/dinner burritos.

Christina G.

Yelp
Super friendly service and man can they roll a burrito with the best of them. My husband and I stopped here on our way out of town post a wedding the night before. We got some loaded breakfast burritos to eat in the car, along with 2 Whoopie pies. The burrito feelings were fresh and delicious, and rolled so well that neither of us leaked in the car while driving! We also very much enjoyed the whoopies- carrot cake was delish!

H P.

Yelp
Can never go wrong with a burrito from the corner store! Mac n cheese/Buffalo Chicken day is like Christmas and the whoopie pies are an extra gift under the tree.

M F.

Yelp
Best. Burritos. Ever. Corner Store has always been the best spot for burritos on Cape Cod. But in the midst of the pandemic, they've been much more than that. A weekly source of normalcy, delicious and nourishing breakfast and lunch burritos, and always friendly service and staff. The online ordering process is seamless, just like the no-contact pick-up. If you haven't been, I HIGHLY recommend going, you'll be glad you did. Thank you for being a bright spot in the midst of a hard year, Corner Store Team!

Karl K.

Yelp
The menu system is far too clunky. I'm just traveling through on business. I will not be here again for another year yet I had to spend the time setting up a profile, registering, and logging back on just to get a sandwich. If I had known my time would be consumed by poor back-end check out I would have gone to a deli/restaurant where I could just walk in. I guess the food is good. ...I'm still waiting. Post food: Lunch was delicious. My complaint still stands on the web back-end. Some genius could simply add "guest checkout "

Matthew C.

Yelp
This place has morphed over the years from a variety store to the best burritos in town. They seem to be specializing and it's sometimes very hard to find a place to park. There are about five parking spots on the front and four on the side and it's a very busy intersection. It's hard to back out of parking spaces into a steady stream of traffic. The burritos are very good and almost worth the hassle.

Dan G.

Yelp
Used to be my go to place. Burritos getting smaller and $$ for any extras that are normally free. $15 for a burrito?? Really. Than they have the audacity to coerce you into tipping w that foolish credit card reader. Not worth the price anymore

Rachel S.

Yelp
I downloaded Yelp just to give a five star review to Emily and Olivia. These two sweethearts have angelic patience and genuine kindness in their hearts. Their radiant energy made my day. You are so lucky to have such fabulous staff, you must be lovely too! I will certainly be visiting The Corner Store in the near future!

Jill H.

Yelp
This is our go to place! Every time I stay with our local Chatham peeps this is where we go to eat. When locals stand in line for this food you know it is worth it as locals and tourists stand side by side. Check their specials too. Great options. The food is fresh and made with "love". The staff is super friendly and helpful. Be sure to throw in the huge cookies or the amazing whoopie pies. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Try ask three there. You won't be disappointed.

Dan F.

Yelp
The breakfast burritos are delicious! Every time I go down to the Cape for my annual baseball tournament, it's been tradition to grab a quick breakfast burrito from the Corner Store. You won't be disappointed but get there early because there's usually a line out the door.

Larry B.

Yelp
Nope. Done for good now. This place cant even stay open for the small hours of 8a-1p, 4 days a week?? Its like they have given up on any sense of dedication to customers. The wind blows, they close!! Quitters. A little notice on closing as a courtesy to customers but that is obviously too much to ask of this floundering business. Closed on Friday Dec. 23rd. NO NOTICE!! Just a 5 yr olds note taped to the door.....such class and professionalism! No notice on website, instagram, ot any other customer friendly way of knowing and avoiding wasting time on this place. Hell, yelp even says they are currently open.....STAY AWAY from the corner store, it has fallen into the "we no longer care about our customers" category.

Ursula K.

Yelp
I have been coming here for a long time and always enjoyed their burritos. Although they still taste ok, it seems that lately they have gotten considerably smaller.

Michele M.

Yelp
Best place around for sandwiches and wraps. Food is high quality and fresh and servings are generous. Great value

Charlotte S.

Yelp
As a local on Cape, it's always nice to see businesses doing well, however, they appear to be too busy and understaffed. This review truly has nothing to do with the employees themselves because they are hardworking and super kind, but the phone is almost always on a busy line and the wait for food is 45 minutes to an hour on average. As far as parking goes, there are maybe 6 spots max and during the summer you are never able to find an opening. Although the food is good, it is insanely expensive and the burritos are nowhere close to an authentic Mexican burrito. If you're just visiting and are able to spend lots of money and time on food then I would suggest this place. Otherwise, there are better options on Cape

Kelsey A.

Yelp
Everything is amazing. Never had a bad meal here! We always bring out of town guests here. This is always our "after fishing" ritual with the boys!

Cape Cod G.

Yelp
Good has its ups and downs but still a good shop for breakfast and lunch, very expensive 6.5 out of 10 Gordon Ramsay's

Kaitlyn R.

Yelp
What happened to the paninis? They were the best thing about the store! Burritos don't seem to compare.

Misty H.

Yelp
Found this place in advance of our trip as an option to grab and go and had food all of our 7 family members would eat. Given the reasonable prices, we didn't have super high expectations, but were blown away at how great the burritos and bowls were.. and we fed our family for less than $100. Steak and chicken were excellent (as were the desserts!) There was a line into the place but it was organized, moved quickly, and had no issues. We will keep this top of our list as a favorite.

L P.

Yelp
I decided to give the corner store another chance and this experience was much better.... Went in for burritos. 2 chicken and a steak. There was so many delicious choices. It was great being able to see and choose exactly what I wanted on the burrito. All the ingredients were fresh! Friendly staff. I can't wait to go back and try another!

Reagan M.

Yelp
Mixed feelings but I'll start with the good. The good: The corner store makes incredible breakfast burritos with great ingredients. I love it as there aren't any build your own breakfast around and the quality is amazing. They make my favorite cookies in the world - their ginger snap massive and gooey freshly made daily cookies. I can never leave without one! The bad: Breakfast ends very early. It'd be nice to still be able to get a breakfast burrito up until noon but that's more personal opinion. Their slogan "fresh.fast.fun" is only partially true. Off season, I'd say that's accurate. But for 5 months out of the year, I don't find this to be true. Fresh YES! Fast NO. Fun NOT ALWAYS. The food is great, however, when it gets slightly busy (more than 5 people in line) and especially in the summer, they get extremely overwhelmed it seems. This is totally understandable as it does many places on cape. BUT, they don't handle it as well as they could. Many times, the overheated workers in the line up are so rushed and anxious they're pushy and mean. They have two registers but they almost never use it even when the line is out the door. The way the layout in the line/of the corner store doesn't make much sense to efficiently get people in the door or able to explore the other items for sale. If you find yourself in line for 20 mins and finally are able to see the options to build your meal, you'll often be shouted at to go faster because your holding up other customers (even if you're really not). You feel like a number and not a customer. At checkout, they usually don't even say anything nice or thank you & get aggravated with the miscommunication of their other employees. The conversations (bad ones) and energy/tone is VERY obvious and not fun. Often, forget to include things paid for. It's very expensive but that's not unique for cape. A locals discount could be nice like some places do especially during busy season that heavily effects accuracy & experience. Please do better. I love your food and I am not unique to these feelings. I love seeing small businesses & cape owned businesses thrive but customer service & management needs a big step up especially under pressure. That's what the food industry is like often.

Ed M.

Yelp
I cannot believe how good the sandwiches are at this place! Amazing! By far, the best sandwich that I have ever had. I had a roast beef pannini with pickles, mustard and carmelized onions! OUT OF THIS WORLD! Service was great on a busy Memorial Day Sunday! Wife had a burrito, which she is still raving about. Will definitely make the ride again, this summer!

B P.

Yelp
Bomb burritos. Don't forget to get a thanksgiving day breet coming up here soon. Seasonal fan fave

Doug F.

Yelp
Would give zero stars if I could. They don't pick up the phone, and it's impossible to order online. This place sucks.

Ariel L.

Yelp
Always good, their breakfast burritos never disappoint. Super easy to call or place an order on line to grab. They are friendly and always greet you with a smile. I love both locations.

Erik D.

Yelp
Oh. My. God. This was a total haphazard find on our drive back to Rhode Island from Provincetown--we were in desperate need of a lunch stop which was quick, cheap, and solid. Of course this Cape Cod-y looking place pops up on Yelp...Mexican, Panini, Whoopie Pies...SOLD! You drive up tnwhat looks like a general store and are greeted by a super friendly staff, a whoopie pie case to the left, fresh bagels and muffins to the right...and two lines in front of you (one for burritos and one for panini). I'm telling you - go straight to the panini line and order the Black Forest Ham. It's layered with fresh and crunchy Granny Smith apples and then had...wait for it...honey drizzled all over the outside of the bread!!! This sticky, sweet, and mustardy bite was utter perfection! To round out the order we also got the Italian panini (really good but a kick to it), mini whoopie pies for the road, chips, and CRANBERRY Sprite. To top it off the staff was so friendly and kind which is refreshing in a tourist area. We decided after having our whoopie pies this will be our official "to and from" Ptown stop. Kudos Corner Store...we will be back!

Julie L.

Yelp
Got breakfast burritos. Friendly staff. First burrito was eggs, potatoes, peppers and onions with cheese. 2nd burrito was eggs, bacon, corn salsa, beans, mushrooms, pico de gallo and cheese. Both delicious and filling. Packed right when they opened. $21 included a water. Would recommend!
