NY’s ‘Restaurant Reservation Anti-Piracy Act’ Is Now Law

"A downtown clone of Polo Bar that faces the same scarcity problem: reservations are frequently captured by bots and resellers and then resold at high markups, prompting new state legislation that outlaws third‑party listing and selling without a written agreement and imposes fines and consumer remedies, though questions about enforcement persist." - Chris Crowley

Why Martinis Keep Getting Dirtier

"Positioned as the filthiest martini destination in the current scene, it offers a $40 “Martini Service” that includes two martinis—one called Oli’s Dirty and another named The Filth, which is essentially vodka and brine—and a third novelty cocktail, Sour Cream & Onion, that tastes like potato chips sprinkled with sugar." - Robert Simonson

Horrible customer service, customers aren't allowed to use the restroom after certain hours, and very rude employees, need to retrain ALL workers and make the restroom accessible at all hours.

Seek your ethanol elsewhere. I’ve never encountered such vacant minds in my life. The button says E15. The surrounding enclosure says E85. The lady working there at 2 AM 3/28/2019 flat-out told me “E15 and E85 are the same thing” they’re chemically very different. The knock resistance is entirely different. I gave up asking for clarification over this elementary concept and decided to just leave a fun little review here. Vacant minds welcome, actual vague interest for maintaining the integrity of the establishment is not. Advertised blend is vague and misleading. Again, seek ethanol elsewhere.

Dropped in to grab some medicine. Asked the clerk where it was and she just pointed to the other side of the store. Thanks ,real help. The guy at the counter had great customer service.

Yelp
I'm not sure why this location is called a corner store when it's actually a Circle K, but it's a good gas station overall. The front of the building has changed a little, with more oil, water, and gas stains on the ground, but that's to be expected. Nonetheless, it contains most of the fundamental requirements that any person would require, and you may pay with a card at the pump or go inside to pay. There are a number of snacks to choose from, albeit the selection was fairly limited due to the absence of several snacks; they also have their own deli section where food is sold. It had a fair variety of choices, which was nice. It also has a section for their baked products, but from what I've sampled, they aren't that nice, so I wouldn't recommend it unless you really want some coffee with bread. When I go to a gas station, I like to grab a taquito and their chicken, and one of my favorite places for that has been QuikTrip. Although this location had a nicely flavored chicken and taquito, it was crispy, which I like, and the chicken itself was pleasantly juicy. Furthermore, one of the cool features of this establishment is their walk-in freezer for alcoholic beverages; I just think the concept and design are cool, as you step into a different area with a decent assortment of alcoholic beverages. Additionally, every time I've been here, the staff has been quite kind and helpful. For example, I was struggling to find plates for the taquito and the lady immediately noticed and pointed me to the plates, so the staff is amazing in my experience, despite the fact that it's a gas station, which surprised me because it's not the place you anticipate good service from. Overall, I didn't anticipate much from a small gas station, but it is undoubtedly a great gas station considering the locality.
