The reviews were good on here very spacious and clean showers toilets etc spacious pitches and seemed quiet nice chap who runs it. Unfortunately later that evening the pub across the way had people turning up in cars loads of them we weren't worried thought be nice to hear some Irish music but we were in for a shock apparently every now and then they have a DJ on in the pub and it seemed like every youngster from around came it got noisy people shouting music so loud you couldn't even hear my TV and went on from about 9 30 till 12 30 and then they didn't disperse untill bout 2 found bottles and glasses nxt to out van which was worrying did mention it said it was down to the pub but they must know when these events are on to warn people who stay there wasn't happy won't be going back and this was in a Thursday not even a weekend in September 2025 😞

A really lovely place to stay. Jude, who runs the campsite goes above and beyond to make sure everything is going well. He even helped us sort out some engine problems. The facilities are good with a kitchen, laundry room and picnic areas. The showers are free, hot and clean and best of all no timer! Horray! We had a hard standing pitch with electric and had plenty of space for our camper van awning and space to eat outside. |This is a great location to base yourself for the best of what Clare has to offer. There is a free shuttle service to the Burren and great connections to the Cliffs of Mohar. The campsite is in the town so shops and other amenities are on your doorstep.

I cannot begin so explain how wonderful my stay was here. My family and I stayed here and Jude went above and beyond with absolutely everything. He is a very kind and interesting man and this is such a beautiful campsite. The toilets and showers are very clean and there’s a lovely kitchen area with a dining room that’s cosy and clean. There is a lovely picnic area and excellent transport links to the rest of the county. Thank you so much for everything!

Our 2nd visit here and had such a lovely stay. The owner Jude is so friendly, welcoming and helpful. The place is quiet and beautiful with a lovely little pub and food bar right outside the gate. The showers and toilets are so clean and well kept. We will be paying many more visits to this place we love it.

Great little site with appropriate facilities. So relaxed that it appears to cater for all sorts. One suggestion that Jude may consider is opening for fully equipped vans early in the year to cater for festival in March. Might only need water and electric with possible waste disposal. Might need an entry barrier with card charging facility. Could even be year round with such an option like the Camping Car Park system in France. Don't know but there may be winter enthusiasts? Keep up the good work and hope the 900s keep going!

Super campsite with a super host, Jude could not be nicer or more helpful. The campsite is right in the centre of town and opposite a pub with a fabulous food truck in the car park. Our lobster and chips supper was delicious. |The Campsites facilities are very clean and the whole place is spick and span, with water, hook ups and good recycling facilities. |It’s only a short walk to the Burren National Park office and the bus service to the park. Jude kindly allowed us to leave our van in the campsite for the morning whilst we visited the National Park, which, by the way, is stunning and so worth the trip. |Thank you Jude, we had a great stay with you.
