Corona

A well kept hotel in the heart of the city. Beds were on the soft side but that is personal and might please others. Room was clean and quiet despite city view (would recommend thisnoption). The room was clean with complimentary water on either side of the bed. Really good shower.|Didn't have breakfast so cannot judge on that. Staff was really friendly.

The rooms look good, it has got all the things you need. But the flooring is not that great. You can hear the people from upstairs just walking. The bed is big, but the pillows are too soft. The bad in the luxurious room is very good! The sound isolation is not that good. Very early in the morning you hear the trams.

The hotel is a bit dated but overall nice and in line with standard expectations. The main downside — as others have mentioned — is the automatic bathroom light, which can be annoying. More importantly, the bathroom ventilation system runs constantly, even at night, making it quite noisy and hard to sleep.

Location and service staffs are great. But I was disappointed about checking in time being at 3pm but to be fair, all hotels unfortunately have this practice nowadays. I find very inconvenient. On top, the breakfast was disappointing. It has very limited choice and I had to wait 3 mins for scrambled eggs. Apparently they make like 5 eggs batch at a time. No clue why. Bacons are so salty and hard. Lobby which comfy sofa doesn’t exist here. In Asia, this would have been rated as a 2 starred hotel. :(

This is a great example of a small, well-run hotel. Every member of staff was courteous and helpful. The rooms (I was in 303, overlooking the square) are so clean and spacious, with the comfiest bed I had for a long time. Double glazing is good so only the smallest amount of outside noise on Friday night, and it was wonderful to be able to open the window for fresh air during the day. ||Had breakfast out every day, so can’t vouch for that, but had a wonderful Caesar salad and frites one evening which was very good. The beers are well kept too 😉. As another review said, the bar closes quite early but there are many others on the doorstep. ||If I return to Den Haag, I will stay again. Thank you for a great trip!

The Corona is perfectly located and has very good rooms. Ours was a junior suite. The service was friendly while not personal. There are some signs that the hotel could do with further refurbishment but that did not detract from the quality of our three night stay.

A recent stay here was simply delightful. Check in was smooth and easy. Staff were always helpful and willing to answer our tourist questions. Room was perfect updated and clean with a comfy large bed. Location is perfect right in the middle of it all. Would suggest a stay here if your in the area!

Very comfortable hotel, roomy by European standards. In a charming area of downtown The Hague. I would definitely consider staying here again.
