The 6 Best Hotels in Lisbon (Updated 2025)

"Set in a Pombaline-era building in Cais do Sodré, this sleek five-star hotel is packed with amenities: a spa with a steam room, sauna, and jacuzzi, and an exceptional breakfast featuring fresh pastries, made-to-order eggs, local cheeses, and fruits. I like the many complimentary perks — daily wine tastings in the lobby, two walking tours per day, snacks on every floor, free ice cream in the lobby, and even a free 20-minute spa massage. Rooms vary but all have a bright, minimal design with plush beds, 4K TVs, a Nespresso machine, electric kettle, complimentary minibar, digital safe, bathrobe, slippers, AC, and soundproof windows. Bathrooms are spacious and modern with rainfall showers, high-end toiletries, heated floors, and adjustable chromotherapy lighting. If you want to stay somewhere where you’ll want for nothing, stay here." - Matthew Kepnes

From the moment we arrived at the Hotel our experience was exceptional. The staff @ Corpo Santo Historical Hotel are incredibly friendly and professional. Ruben, the gentleman at the reception desk treated us with respect from the moment we arrived, helping and guiding us with everything we needed during our stay. The staff go above and beyond with every detail. The rooms were clean and spacious. What they promote is what you receive from the moment you arrive until you leave. I would stay here again and highly recommend it!!!

First class hotel. Staff were exceptionally professional. Location is absolutely perfect for exploring Lisbon. Extra amenities were a huge plus (happy hour wine and snacks, free tours and activities, treats throughout the hotel). Breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever experienced at a hotel. Room was modern and clean. Bed a little harder than I like, but was manageable. Spa was small, but it’s still something. Nice way to finish the day. Secret bar area downstairs with a cool history. I need to stop rambling. |I searched and searched for hotels wanting to make sure I picked the right hotel for my first visit to Lisbon. Without a doubt, i would 100% recommend this hotel. It’s absolutely perfect.

A great hotel in the heart of Lisbon. Loved the history of the place, especially the basement lounge with the section of city wall. Really interesting. Great staff, friendly and attentive, always ready to assist. Nice rooms, with awesome spa-like showers with light therapy and music. Hotel feels generous - snacks, treats, coffee and drinks available in the lobby area and outside the elevators on each floor. Mini bar in the room is free of charge too. And every day there's a cocktail hour, which brings guests together in the lobby and at the tables outside, which is a nice touch. Breakfast, which is table service in the restaurant, is excellent. Bar knocks out a great cocktail too. The hotel offers two walking tours a day - morning and evening. These are excellent and definitely worth joining. A super hotel in the heart of Lisbon.

Corpo Santo truly felt like a luxury hidden gem. The staff were incredibly kind and genuine. There were always water bottles available in the lobby, which I appreciate greatly! There were complimentary walking tours that were informative. We enjoyed breakfast that had many offerings and daily flavored water and detox juice. The basement of the hotel is a hidden treasure full of history. The location of the hotel is a few minutes from the beach and walking distance to the train station. The hotel is close enough to pink street that you can enjoy the vibes, but will not be interrupted if not interested. Our room was facing the street and we did not have any noise issues. We would love to visit again!

I cannot say enough good things about Corpo Santo Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. The hotel is modern, spotless, and thoughtfully designed, but what truly sets it apart is the outstanding service and attention to detail. Guests are treated to an incredible array of complimentary amenities: a relaxing spa with Turkish bath, wet and dry saunas, and soothing showers; daily happy hour; free tours, yoga classes, and even wine tastings. They also keep the lobby stocked with snacks, pastries, water, and refreshments throughout the day. On every floor, by the elevators, you’ll even find snacks waiting for you — such a thoughtful touch! The in-room refrigerator is restocked daily with complimentary drinks and fresh fruit, and the breakfast buffet each morning is plentiful and delicious. What really impressed me was the personal touches. On our first morning, the staff surprised my friend with sparkling wine, cake, and a candle for her birthday — without anyone mentioning it! They had simply noticed during check-in. Christopher, the manager, went above and beyond to serve us breakfast himself, making us laugh and truly feel at home. The staff here are incredibly friendly — perhaps the friendliest I’ve ever encountered at a hotel. They anticipate your needs before you even realize them and ensure every guest feels like family. Corpo Santo Hotel is not just a place to stay — it’s an experience. If you are visiting Lisbon and want to feel pampered, welcomed, and genuinely cared for, this is the hotel for you.

The staff is amazingly knowledge, kind, and helpful. The location is supreme. The rooms are really pretty, clean and thoughtfully designed. But the best is the amenities. From free breakfast, spa access, free tours, free wine tastings and other big pluses … just the most special hotel experience we have ever had. When I come back to Lisbon without doubt would return.

This is a wonderful hotel . The location is walkable to many sites and restaurants . The staff here are absolutely the kindest , most caring people I have ever met . They bend over backwards to help you .|The rooms are large by European standards with a complimentary mini- bar. Breakfast is included and is a la carte not the usual buffet . 5 Stars! I highly recommend this hotel. We stayed here and are staying again as we return to Lisbon.

WOW. My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and wished it was longer! Built on top of ruins, the hotel is beautifully designed while protecting the history below. The location is very close to the river and many popular sights. Our room was extremely comfortable with beverages and snacks generously provided free of charge. DO NOT MISS the complimentary walking tours!!! We took advantage of 3 of them during our stay and all were informative and gave us a great overview of several neighborhoods with fantastic photo opportunities. AMAZING. The breakfast is also outstanding - varied, fresh and absolutely delicious. We were blown away by the friendly and helpful attitude of ALL staff members. They went above and beyond to make us feel special and welcome. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
