I don't normally gush when writing reviews but this restaurant deserves high praise.
Located in (old) Vejer, a small historic town situated in the mountains, where all the buildings are painted white which makes it stand out on the drive to Cádiz. It has a cluster of cute little lanes with independent shops, restaurants and apartments.
Owned and managed by a lovely Scottish lady, who had enough of the cold and wet stuff and decided to start a new adventure in Spain and found this town - Corredera 55 sophisticated but casual, decor is simple but classy and the menu is varied and (all) very tempting for both meat-lover and veggies alike. There is also an outdoor terrace with seating for approx. 30.
Hosting by the owner/manager is first class, waiting tables is an all male crew and in the kitchen, local ladies with the hands of angels delivering a simply scrumptious menu.
If you visit Vejer, I would thoroughly recommend you have a meal here.
