I absolutely loved this, from how it is set up to what is on offer. It's a collection of super quirky, beautiful workshop spaces in huts that you can browse through. It's all dog friendly except the chocolate shop & parking is also free. My favourite was probably the wood craft store, would have loved to do a 1 day workshop but not possible on holiday. Our kids loved the chocolate shop workshop (they both made bars), but the candle making looked cool too. My advice is to book the workshops in advance as they do fill up quickly. The gin distillery does tasters (yummy) & we bought some crystals & ores for the kids from the jewellery shop. Prices in general are steep but it's understandable and the norm for hand made work/art.

A great find! All of the shops are dog friendly (apart from the chocolate shop), as is the cafe. Food is lovely and all staff I spoke to were friendly. It was accessible using a disability walker/rollator. Parking is free. Spent a lovely couple of hours here.

We spent a lovely few hours wandering around the cabins, with my daughter trying out each of the craft activities. If you have a pet, or love animals, try out the amazing Bowowhause - when my little girl couldn't find a Pointer keyring, the wonderful owner told us to come back in half hour, after which she had created a stunning pyrography miniature portrait of my daughter's support dog. A real treasure for my little girl and it made her day - such a warm, welcoming shop and an immensely talented owner. The candle studio were amazing with my little girl. She wanted to do the candle making workshop and was supported throughout by the kind, caring and supportive staff. She loved making the candles and couldn't wait to show everyone back at home - well worth a visit, and the candle making takes only 15-20 minutes and is very reasonable, so we highly recommend it. Despite being very busy, Quarry Pottery were super kind and squeezed us in so my daughter could paint her own plate. Again, wonderful kind and caring staff, who looked after us really well and went the extra mile to make my daughter's day. We waited with anticipation for the glossed plate to arrive and she loves it and uses it for all her meals now! A really lovely experience for kids and grown ups alike. Overall, this was one of our most memorable days out, and we did not do the underground activities (daughter and I both ASD and didn't fancy it), so the craft shops in themselves are a fantastic draw and we spent a long time looking around, crafting and buying! The only slight let down was the queuing times at the cafe. Not the fault of the venue, but just down to sheer numbers of visitors. I wish we had known earlier quite how long it would be and we might have taken some packed food with us. We queued for around 30-40 minutes for food and drinks, with the queues out of the door, and then were unable to find seating unfortunately. Still a lovely day out, but my advice would be to go to the cafe early, or else bring plenty of food and drinks with you. Highly recommended and our thanks to all the wonderful artists and shop owners.

Ok for a visit if passing but really not as good as it used to be. Café ok, we had quiche, salad, coleslaw and Anglesey crisps - the slice of quiche was small and very soft in texture - ok but not great, the Anglesey crisps were like any other plain crisps, the salad was only 'side' salad and the coleslaw was nice. To sum up, it's ok.

Nice collection of craft shops - we came away with local gin, chocolate, beer, and a steampunk clock! - and of course on the mach loop, so we also saw two low flying F15s go past at only a few hundred feet!

Lots of lovely gift ideas in all shops. Lots of snacks, alcohol, cheeses, chocolate etc. Spent some time painting a piece of pottery, though found it over-priced for this.

What a lovely little find! Free car parking is an added bonus, spectacular views and great unique gift shops. Pizza making at the chocolate shop was good fun, the cafe is very reasonably priced too, especially when you have a big family or a few kids. Doesn't seem like there's much at first glance but there's definitely more than meets the eye. Can't wait to go back again!

One of the best sausage & bacon baps ever! Great place, lots of small craft shops and a really nice restraunt/cafe. Both food and service were faultless. Well worth calling in to sample if you're in the area. Definitely on my list of cafes to revisit.
