Corsewall Lighthouse Hotel and Restaurant

We loved our stay at Corsewall Lighthouse Hotel! The setting is stunning — wild coastal views and such a peaceful atmosphere. The highlight was definitely the five-course dinner. Every dish was beautifully presented, full of flavour, and clearly made with care using local ingredients. The service was warm and friendly, and the whole experience felt really special. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food in a truly unique location!

Wow ! What a stunning location for a Hotel. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming which was much needed after our 7 hour drive from the South West. When we arrived we were shown our room ( I had booked the only non en-suite room ) but we were very generously offered an upgrade to the lovely holiday cottage just 200 yards away from the lighthouse at no extra charge as it was available for our 3 night stay. I must highlight the dining experience, probably the best food we have tasted and lovingly prepared to an excellent standard. The chef took the trouble to come and talk to us about the food and even made a few individual adjustments to suit our tastes. I would highly recommend the Corsewall Lighthouse Hotel to all of my family and friends. We certainly would love to return next Year.

We enjoyed a fabulous night at the Corsewall Lighthouse to celebrate my birthday. The isolated landscape and windswept lighthouse provided a unique and stunning backdrop, while inside every detail was authentic and yet still in keeping with modern expectations. Our dinner was exceptional, and as lovers of fine food, we were very impressed. The breakfast was equally delicious and from our welcome to our farewell, we were looked after wonderfully. Thank you Helen and John and the team. You have created a very special experience that we'd highly recommend.

Awesome stay!! Horrible wet & windy weather outside. We were greeted with such warm & friendly staff. We chilled in the lounge with a bottle of vino. Thoroughly enjoyed our fine dining experience (all 7 courses) lol. Before retiring to a characterful four poster bedroom with spectacular views.|It was the peaceful stay we needed. We will return again soon for sure.

The staff were very friendly and met your every need. A lovely relaxed atmosphere. The location is beautiful. The food outstanding. The accommodation was warm, comfortable and clean. I would recommend Corsewall Lighthouse Hotel to anyone.

The hotel and staff were excellent. |The Kintore room very comfortable, food in the evening was absolutely beautiful. |Breakfast very tasty and plenty of it.|The two waitresses in the evening made our meal that bit special with their pleasantness and helpful presence.||We will love to return when the potential lighthouse tours become available.||Thank you All||Chris and Kelly

I would definitely not recommend this place & certainly for the money they charge for overnight stay £380!!! ||Rip off … carpet in our room was stained, no shower gel or toiletries apart from hand wash .. we booked in for 5 course meal & as we had our dog we where put in what I would call a store cupboard, ceiling was ready to cave in , no music in so called dining room… used my iPhone for background music no fine dining here … I would say 3 course & the chef who cooks is also the maintenance man with the same clothes on that prepared & cooked food… this hotel is run down and left to the elements of the weather, I have wrote emails to owners regarding our experience which was pathetic, no apologies, basically they where not interested, terrible customer service in fact none!!! Save your money & go somewhere nice, relaxing … our bill was over £400 with drink added… £380 for 2 people for one night !!! The turnberry is cheaper & that’s 5 star , I wouldn’t give this place one star 🌟 I actually gave management a chance , not interested even though I said I would be leaving honest & truthful feedback, just shows you what they think of a ex customer.
