My husband and I enjoyed an overnight stay at this very unique hotel. The scenery is stunning and the sunset, as we walked from the lighthouse after dinner to our suite in the grounds of the hotel, was simply beautiful. We stayed in the Stevenson suite which we found comfortable and there was a large tv lounge to relax in before bed. The owners,Helen and John, were very welcoming. We enjoyed a flavourful five course dinner in the intimate dining room prepared by their excellent chef and a tasty breakfast the next morning, before leaving with a promise to return in the near future. A truly memorable stay!

This review is of their lovely restaurant as we only dined there. Following our party of 6 dining there I’m delighted to say that everything about the Corsewall Lighthouse Hotel / Restaurant continues to exceed expectations. This is an outstanding restaurant that truly deserves the highest praise. The chef’s talent is unmistakable—every dish we enjoyed was beautifully presented and packed with flavour. It’s rare to find such consistent quality over time, but this place continues to deliver. The owners remain as warm and engaging as ever, and the staff are excellent: attentive, professional, and friendly without being overbearing. Tonight’s experience only reaffirmed my view that this is a real gem—charming, welcoming, and consistently outstanding. It’s now firmly on my list of favourites and I recommend it wholeheartedly. If you’ve not been for a while, I urge you to give it another try—it has truly reached new heights. I should mention that I have no connection to the owners or staff—just a sincere appreciation for a small business that genuinely deserves to thrive.

We spent an amazing 2 nights here in the lighthouse suite. It was a sensory sensation. Views were magnificent and the smells amazing. The hosts and staff were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. The meals were fabulous tasty treats. We would definitely go back here. Thankyou to all the staff who made this so memorable.

In life we make choices it governs our path of life like a lighthouse warns of danger a person chooses to build beautiful memories of places they have been Corsewall Lighthouse hotel is one of these places where the simple fundamentals of tranquility nature and the essence of being alive with nature the stars the ocean and the impact creates a vibration of healing. I sat in the conservatory observing Ferries passing in the distance seals otters bobbing about their daily business. Watching the sun setting down over the ocean is magical. My opinion of seagulls changed when I saw what they were created to do when diving from height to catch their quarry. They were a sight to behold. As the.waves cascaded of the rocks the sun went down over the horizon a photographers paradise and the closed chapter of a spiritual enlightening day. It was intoxicating. The social aspect of tremendously friendly staff and the culinary delights to tantalise the palate was another dimension of the experience of this gem of a place where the mountains of Mourne and the island Ailsa Craig can be seen where all the Scottish stone for curling may be found. Whether you paint photography or poetry is your inclination this place fires the furnace of your desires to motivate us in a way words cannot relay the feeling this place bestows upon the soul.

Nothing but the highest praises for this wonderful place! The kindest, most welcoming crew, the food that will feed your body and soul, and the views that would make even the coldest of hearts melt. And yes it is remote and if travelling with children or pets be mindful, the shore though breathtaking is not a playground, so keep them under control. But it is the most amazing place I had a pleasure to spend time in and can only wish I was there longer. But will be going back for sure, maybe Christmas at the Lighthouse next time 🥰

What an amazing spot! We stayed in a room inside the lighthouse. All the important things are fantastic - super quiet spot, glorious views, friendly staff, super clean beds, nice negroni and smoked salmon sandwiches, superb breakfast. If you want a luxury spa-like bathroom or even a fresh and perky carpet then this may not be the place for you,but you'll be missing out. We loved it and would highly recommend it

We visited the Corsewall Lighthouse hotel on a glorious day and really enjoyed the sunset and sunshine the following day. The walks around the lighthouse are beautiful with seaside and countryside at the same time with the seals putting on a bit of a show for us! The hotel is very lovely and it’s an amazing experience to sleep in the lighthouse. The staff is so nice and the food is good. The house needs a bit of TLC but it’s beautiful and I think every weather in here must be a great experience! Definitely worth the trip!

We spent a night at Corsewall Lighthouse. Since I walk with crutches, we were offered the Lighthouse Suite. The welcome was very warm and friendly. The accommodation provided everything we needed—and more. But above all, it offered a spectacular view of the lighthouse and the sea. What we absolutely have to highlight, though, is the unbelievably delicious dinner we had the pleasure of enjoying. The quality of the food was outstanding, beautifully presented, and perfectly seasoned. Every single course was sensational. We love good food, but we have never eaten this well before. There are true artists at work in that kitchen. We will definitely be coming back—and we can only recommend staying and dining here to everyone.
