Corte Calzaiuoli Elegant Suites

PERFETTO!|We stayed at Corte Calzaiuoli in October, our first time to Florence. It was an excellent experience, with very friendly and hardworking staff, beautifully appointed rooms, and a stellar central location. It was worth every penny!||Location can't be beat - it's a busy neighborhood, right in the middle of everything, surrounded by high end shopping and restaurants, and within a 10-15 minute walk of major attractions. It's less than a 5 minute walk to the Duomo and the Uffizi museum.||Staff is very helpful and friendly - They made restaurant reservations for us, arranged a cab to the airport, and stored our bags when we arrived early. Cleaning crew was prompt and efficient. The breakfast staff were welcoming and generous, bringing us new things to try when they were freshly made and made excellent cappuccino!||The included breakfast was delicious and fresh, and It opened promptly at 8AM every day. It consisted mostly of freshly made pastries, and some protein options like eggs, yogurt and salmon. There were some "premium" options available for extra charge, which we thought was a little odd, but we never felt the need to try that, the regular fare was delicious and plenty.||Accommodations throughout are elegantly decorated, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet. Herringbone hardwood floors, marble in the bathrooms, trompe l'oeil on the walls and ceiling and luxurious linens on the bed. The shower stayed hot and had great pressure. There was an "honor system" mini bar that was useful and not dramatically overpriced, and they left us a small bottle of wine, water, and some cookies as a complimentary treat. Also, the windows keep the noise out really well. We opened the windows one morning to discover the Duomo bells had been ringing and we hadn't heard it!!||Finding the "right"place to stay in Florence can be challenging. There are SO many options and reliable info can be tough to find. I research the heck out of everything, and this property was highly rated - the reviews didn't lie. It was a wonderful experience all around, we would definitely stay there again.

Corte Calzaiuoli Elegant Suites are perfectly situated for convenience while maintaining a quiet, comfortable space to take respite during the heat of the day. When I visited Florence in June it was incredibly hot, so the location of this hotel couldn't have been more appreciated. It's a 3 minute walk to the Duomo, centrally located for all shopping and it was so easy to stop at the hotel quickly to drop off bags.||The room was nicely appointed with luxury linens, plenty of pillows and shutters to completely blacken the room. The bed was very comfortable and the AC was sufficient. The hotel as a whole was very clean. ||The hotel has a lovely kitchen staff that makes an excellent breakfast spread each morning. They were very kind and a joy to be around to start the day. My only suggestion would be that they open slightly earlier for their excellent cappuccino. ||Overall I highly recommend this hotel for its convenient location with a luxury feel.

We had an amazing experience! We’ve got much than we expected with a wonderful location, amazing service (Martina is the best!) and an authentic Italian atmosphere and breakfast. Everything feels so homely, kind, and warm — we’ll be sure to recommend it to all our friends!

Wonderful accommodations! The staff is very helpful and friendly. The room was well appointed, quiet and the mattress was great. The location in central and easy walking distance to all the wonder museums and restaurants. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Corte Calzaiuoli Elegant Suites, perfectly located in the heart of Florence. We booked two rooms for our family of four, and everything exceeded our expectations. The hotel is spotless and beautifully maintained, with just 11 rooms that create a peaceful and exclusive atmosphere. The beds were comfortable, and the breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious—fresh, varied, and a great way to start the day. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. I highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone visiting Florence!

There were great things and not so great things about our stay. This “hotel” is run more like a bed and breakfast. It’s an old office building that was converted to suites. All the rooms are located on the same floor. We traveled in July and it was extremely hot in Florence. Our room air conditioning was awful. When we complained they said this particular room has trouble keeping cool due to the location of the room. There was actually a fan in our room when we checked in - that should’ve been a red flag. That being said, we knew we would be out and about all day and only returning in the evenings to shower and sleep. The location is amazing - you can walk everywhere right from the front door. The linens were top notch. The breakfast was served with a smile and a nice touch. If the air worked better, I would’ve rated it higher. This was a big problem for us. We like to be comfortable while sleeping and we were not. The air conditioning was on for two days straight. We left it running even when we weren’t in the room. The temp never got below 24.5c / 76F. Not comfortable sleeping in this temp. We couldn’t change rooms, there were no more available. They should make this known that this room does not have adequate air conditioning and let the guests decide if they want to stay there or not. Very disappointing.

Gorgeous, classy boutique hotel in the heart of Florence. Exquisitely decorated and immaculate with impeccable bed linens, towels and robes. I loved everything about this hotel! The staff is lovely and accommodating. Definitely staying at the Corte Calzaiuloi when I return to Florence.

The staff are so kind and helpful. Beautiful room. Hotel is in a great location. Great selection at breakfast.
