We very much enjoyed our stay. The room was delightful with incredible views. The agritourism element brought a high level of authenticity. The food was exceptional and the steak I had was one of the best ever. Waiter really added to the fun pf the evening. We were there with weather around 15c however coming from Finland I didnt find the pool too cold. It had a really 5 star setting and I could imagine a very pleasant place in warmer times of year. This isnt a fake review

Absolutely lovely, relaxing and scenic Agriturismo outside and above Verona but a short drive to the city and major sites. Terrific staff, and food and drink options. An amazing pool with views of Verona. Corte San Mattia is also a working farm and the grape harvest was underway during our visit. Workers were friendly and accommodating. Our room in a multi-room cottage in the orchards was spacious, clean and welcoming. We would absolutely stay here again.

We got married at the wonderful Corte San Mattia in April this year and had the most beautiful experience.|The venue and surrounding views of Verona are stunning and a beautiful backdrop.|The staff were what really made the experience, Marco, Rebecca, Stefano (and everyone else!!) and a special mention to Camilla, the owner who helped us plan the day, and on the day Camilla and her team did all the coordination and organisation - thank you so much you were fantastic!|The food and wine was incredible. We had an aperitivo with cocktails (aperol and Hugo spritz) ahead of a 4 course menu including risotto made with their spumanti, ravioli stuffed pasta, beef and sorbet, this was served with wine and spumanti from the vineyard which was stunning.|This was all followed by an extra large chocolate cake which was the best cake we’ve ever tried! It also made brilliant pictures to cut with the sun setting.|We also had a ‘pool and pizza party’ the following day, and they organised a pizza oven to be delivered as it was raining which was amazing. |Although there was a storm the week before the wedding, they transformed the whole of Corte San Mattia to be perfect - clean and tidy and perfect flowers and garden. If you are considering having a wedding or other event here then do it, the whole experience was wonderful and many guests said it was the best setting for a wedding they had ever attended, mostly due to the venue and excellent staff. |I found this place when doing a vineyard tour and wine tasting, an experience that could have also been offered to our guests and I would also recommend doing this.

The room was very spacious, beautiful, and the bed comfortable. The views of the city from our terrace were amazing!|After we arrived we took our luggage up to our room and came out for a reception where they were serving wine and appetizers. Their restaurant was amazing with views and delicious food! |I took the pasta making class which was so much fun, with wine tasting partnering with that experience. My husband really enjoyed the infinity pool. The staff was so very helpful with any requests that we had. I would highly recommend this place if you are in this area!

Agriturismo San Mattia is nothing short of extraordinary. The panoramic view over Verona is breathtaking, the atmosphere radiates warmth and authenticity, and the food and wine are simply outstanding. It feels like one romantic faiytale from start to finish. If even just the bread is so good that you talk about it for weeks on end, you know you found the place to be.. and thats just the bread. Everything else has been an 11/10 experience at this place. Every detail, from the hospitality to the homegrown products, feels genuine and unforgettable. This is not just a place to stay, but an experience that leaves you inspired and eager to return. And a personal note: The receptionist Lucia helped us out a lot, since we had a slight hiccup with our travel plans. She fixed everything fast and to our liking with a smile on her face. We will make sure to come there again as soon as we get the chance!

Beautiful view, very good breakfast. But there was a party going on inside and outside the restaurant during late evening and past midnight. In the middle of the week. And no heads up about that when we booked two days earlier. After the party ended the staff was shuffling tables and chairs for another hour. Almost as noisy as the party. So very little sleep that night. And very little understanding for our request to stop the noise so we could get some sleep.

Corte San Mattia is a lovely small hotel with a magnificent view. The people are charming. It’s a very peaceful and pleasant place to spend a few days. Stefano at the reception was extremely kind and cheerful. It was a real pleasure to be welcomed by him. The pool is beautiful and very large, and the small poolside bar is a nice touch. The people are delightful, the rooms are cozy, the bedding is comfortable, and you have a stunning view. The hotel exudes an extremely soothing atmosphere, which is truly enjoyable. It’s also a very kids-friendly place, where children can visit the little goats, chickens, and other animals — something that was wonderful for them too.

Very friendly staff in a place with an amazing view. Laid back and a very relaxed atmosphere but very good service at the same time, well organised even in the small details. Tasty home grown products in every meal and drink, with one of the best breakfasts in Italy. Fantastic endless pool with the best view on Verona you can imagine. Stylishly designed property, grounds, rooms and restaurant. Great value for money as well.
